Juliana's pov:
I fiddled with my clothes, I couldn't dare you to look up or to even lift my head. I can feel Ryan and everyone's eyes on me, I haven't been this embarrassed before in my entire life despite how dreadful and creepy it has been. I haven't felt this way before.
"What's going on here?" His cold voice snapped me out of my reverie state.
"She had something to say," The lady that I walked in with, sneered devilishly.
Every attention was fixed on me, I shifted uncomfortably. I refused to meet their gaze, gosh! How am I to tell them about that? This is a group of Alphas from different packs that we are talking about here. This is an act of disrespect to the king for us to bash in here in the middle of a serious meeting just because of silly stuff but based on how wicked and cruel the lady was. She didn't see it as a senseless approach because of her quest to humiliate me.
It seems like I have to be careful since it looks like everyone in this pack is cruel and brutal or is it because it is me? But what do I expect when I hear the word black storm pack? Do I expect the people there to be nice or sweet? Hell no! They are the worst cruel and vicious people I have ever seen.
"Won't you speak up?" The lady snapped at me.
"You stop it, Bianca!!' Ryan fired back at her with the same energy. We flinched back unexpectedly with a surprised look on her face. So the lady's name is Bianca.
"If she doesn't want to speak up then that means it isn't important," he lashed out at her. I wince back in fear at the coldness in his voice can't be mistaken.
"But………
" Shut up!" He shut her up before she could even say a word. "How dare you bashed into here to interrupt the meeting?" He rumbled.
"But she did something awful," she snarled at me.
"And so……… What she did, couldn't wait till the meeting was over?" He glared.
And that's when I lifted my head a bit, why is he supporting me? He acts strange at times which confuses me, I watch as Bianca goes mute all of a sudden. Everyone has a relaxed look on their face as they watch the event unfold. I pray for the ground to open and swallow me.
"Calm down," Liam whispered to Ryan who had a dangerous look on his face. But to my utmost surprise, Bianca's face glinted, confusing me.
She stares at Ryan like she had a secret that could ruin him, getting a glimpse of what she meant. I noticed Ryan's eyes pleading for her to shut up though the coldness in his eyes was still visible. What secret of Ryan does she have that could put Ryan at the edge, making him restless? I thought to myself.
"Don't you think that she needs to speak up?" She sneered with a vicious smile.
With great difficulty and hesitation, turning to me. Ryan stared at me for a while, closing his eyes he let out a frustrated sigh. Every single soul stares with curiosity at what will happen next, some had a look of doubt that they won't react to Bianca's words but I have this feeling that he will side with her this moment because of the deep secret that she has against him.
"This is blackmailing, you know," I mumbled to myself.
Clearing his throat, his once soft eye turned cold, scaring me. "What happened, speak up?" He said.
"I…… I……..," I stammered. No word seemed to come out, I was expecting him to side with her but why do I still feel hurt that he took her side? It hurts to hear those words from him and before I knew it my eyes started tearing up.
"Answer the damn question, you moron," she snorts.
Ryan shut his eyes with his fist curled in a ball at Bianca's statement. Opening his eyes, he glared at her. It looks kike the is holding himself from lashing out at her but is not like he had any option. His secret is with her, though I still wonder what Bianca knew that frightens Ryan this much.
"I damaged the fruits that were meant to be served to you people," I mumbled before bowing to them as an act of apology.
"Gosh!" Everyone said in unison, they were surprised to hear that.
Both Liam and Ryan stared at Bianca like she had lost it before disappointment flashed across Ryan's eye. "Is this why you bashed inside here?" He sounds cold and harsh, wiping the smile off Bianca.
"This is a senseless issue and you went as far as bringing it inside here," he shouted, causing her to jerk up unexpectedly.
Regaining her balance, she hurls Ryan the same look that she can ruin him causing him to mute within a twinkle of an eye but seems like Liam wasn't having that.
"What's the meaning of this nonsense?" He lashed out at Bianca who flinched back, she wasn't expecting that.
"Not me thinking that she did something worse until she spoke up," someone said within the group of Alphas causing murmuring to start raising. I stifled as I heard the feminine voice, the voice sounds familiar. Let it not be who I am thinking, lifting my head I gasped as I watched the mischievous smirk on her face.
She had a silly smile as she stared at Bianca, my face hardened as anger and resentment flashed in them. What she did to me flooded my mind, how she stabbed me and still rubbed it in my face popped into my head. At the other end is Taylor, closing my eyes. I fought the pain in my heart, the piercing in my heart breaks me.
"And who asked you for your opinion?" Bianca snarled with venom at Juliet.
"You asked her to apologize to us, " she taunts before my face hardens. "So I think our opinion still matters anyway," she snapped.
"You idiot," she wanted to lug toward Juliet before a sob escaped my throat. I can't endure the pain anymore. Everywhere went quiet instantly, noticing that the whimpering was coming from me. I placed my hand on my lips and ran out of the conference room.
