Nora’s P.O.V
In the morning I was in the dining room and was placing the food on the dining table. I was very happy today and looking towards the stairs, waiting for Daniel to come down. I had made all the favorite foods of Daniel, Jacob and Jackson. At the same time I was a little nervous, last night I came to know that Lily and Jackson were also coming here and I was shocked. I did not know the reason, but I was also happy and wanted to see Lily and Jackson again. Robert and Lola came out of their room and downstairs, taking their seats and Alexander came down after a few minutes.
“Lily..” I said, as I saw Lily coming inside the mansion. I walked towards her and we both hugged each other. Jackson stopped behind his mom and smiled at me, giving me a hug. I kissed Jackson’s forehead and blessed him, but he had to bend down, he was too tall just like Daniel.
“Come and sit down.” I said to both of them, but Jackson’s face was clearly telling that he did not want to be here and that the only reason he came was because of his mother.
Robert and Lily looked at each other, but Robert turned his eyes from her, making Lola smirk and look at Lily, indirectly telling her that Robert still ignores her. Lily chose to ignore her bitchy look because if she reacts, Jackson was going to scratch her face in anger. Jacob came out of his room, downstairs and as soon as he saw me he smiled and hugged me. I did the same again and kissed his forehead and blessed him.
“Jacob, did you sleep well son?” I asked and Jacob nodded his head, but at the same time he noticed Lola rolling her eyes at the question. Alexander was also staring at him, but I knew that Jacob did not give a fuck about their stares.
“Yes mother.” Jacob replied, making me smile. I made him sit on the chair. Everyone went silent as they saw Daniel walking downstairs. He was wearing his coat and looked like he was going somewhere.
“Daniel, are you going somewhere?” I asked and Daniel nodded his head. He again treated everyone as if they were invisible.
“Will you not eat?” I asked and Daniel noticed that I had invested a lot of hours in making food for him, Jackson and Jacob. He did not say anything and took his seat which was exactly in front of his father, Robert. Alexander’s eyes met with Daniel’s and Alexander’s eyes were clearly showing anger. He was angry because he could never snatch this seat from Daniel even though he does not live here. No one could take anything which belonged to him, even this seat. This seat belongs to the heir of this family. It was a big slap to Alexander’s face. He turned his eyes from Daniel as he was not able to beat him in staring.
“Mom take your seat.” Daniel said, standing up from his chair and pulled out a chair for me. He made me sit beside him as always, but his eyes went towards Lola and Robert who were sitting beside each other. Daniel stared at Lola’s hand which was intentionally on Robert’s hand. She got scared of his stare and moved her hand away from Robert, just as the servant started to serve the food to everyone.
“Brother, why have you called me suddenly? You did not even call me when dad died, so what is so special about today?” Lily asked and I also wanted to know the answer.
“Yeah, no one called her, but she still came to see grandpa.” Alexander interrupted in a slow tone, but everyone heard him. Jackson’s eyes turned red after hearing him.
“You fucker, do not you dare spit any words about my mother or I will bury you under this floor!” Jackson shouted and Jacob laughed slowly. It was enough to make Alexander angry. He was about to reply, but Lola held his hand tightly and did not let him speak.
“Don’t be angry Jackson, he was just joking with his aunt.” Lola said, trying to sweet talk him, but as she said this Daniel’s heard and put his spoon on the plate.
“You bitch! Do not dare to talk when anyone else is talking. We are not here to see your slut game. Show this to the person beside you, not to us.” Daniel said, completely making Lola’s mouth shut. I knew that Lola felt insulted and looked at Robert who was not saying anything. I knew she wanted him to take her side, but he was only focused on eating. He never said anything between Daniel if he felt like he did not need to say.
“Mr. Robert, we need to leave. I do not want my mother here too long. I would like to request you to tell us what is going on!” Jackson said and Robert looked at Jackson.
“Jackson, I am your uncle son, call me uncle not Mr. Robert.” Robert said and Jackson turned his eyes from Robert angrily. He did not reply to him. His mother smiled at him and indicated for him to calm down and also asked him to call him uncle, but Jackson refused. Robert only smiled and started to talk.
“Last day when everyone left, Alexander suggested to me that we should call the lawyer because now Daniel, Jackson and Jacob are also here and we do not know when Daniel would come here again, so I thought Alexander's suggestion was right. The lawyer will arrive soon and he will also join us for breakfast.” Robert said and everyone nodded their heads, except for Daniel who did not pay any attention to Robert.
Alexander was looking extremely happy, but Daniel, Jackson and Jacob were eating their food as soon as possible as they knew I had made it for them. They could not make me sad. Lily and I were serving Jackson, Jacob and Daniel and after sometime, the lawyer came and had papers in his hand.
