“Hello,” Dickson said when she finally picked up.
“What do you want?”
“She’s awake”
“Oh, good then. I will be coming in tomorrow and do yourself a favor and feed her something to eat”
“She couldn’t remember”
“Remember what?” she asked impatiently.
“You can't remember also?” he asked with a chuckle.
“Look, I don’t have the time to be playing ‘guess what this, guess what that’ if you want to tell me something, say it and don’t waste my time. I have other things to get to”
“You have grown to be very potty and you very well know what I can do to you for disrespecting me?” he warned and she kept quiet.
“Yeah, I thought so. Now, you will tell me when and what time you will be here to check on her and I ain't giving her no food till you are back here” he said and disconnected the call.
“So disrespectful” he muttered and went to grab himself a cup of water before going into a room that belongs to him and his personal things.
She banged the phone on the bed beside her and looked to her side at the red-haired man who was wearing his shirt and fixing his buttons.
“You really need to take things easy, you are violent and would get angry for every little thing. You need to calm down,” he said to her and she glared at him.
“I am sure I always say that you should mind your stupid business but what are you doing now? Not minding your stupid business” she replies sarcastically.
“Sorry for butting in but I need you to answer me, where did you keep her?”
“As I said earlier, none of your business” she replied him and he nods his head before wearing his shoes and standing up after properly dressing up.
“He would be sad if anything happens to her, I doubt he knows about what you just did to her,” he told her.
“Earl, go. Your work here is done and I don’t want you asking me stupid and unnecessary questions when we meet up next time. When you come here, you do your assignment and when done, you leave, as easy as that” she said and he just shook his head.
“Whatever you say ma’am” he bent to give her a kiss on the cheek before taking his bag and leaving her room.
“So nosy and annoying” she muttered and went to get refreshed so she can prepare what she would do for the day and what work she can cover up for tomorrow since she would be going there to see her and wouldn't want anyone to disturb her while she sees her.
“I can't wait for tomorrow to come already”

She was confused by what he was saying to her and was more frustrated when she couldn’t place how she knew that face and it was odd for him to be around her because a good feeling didn’t settle in her about him and that bothers her the most.
‘I am guessing that with time you will come to a realization as to where we have met’ what he had told her earlier went through her mind and it kept giving her that familiar chilling feeling.

“So you are telling me you haven't seen or heard from my wife?”
“No, Lorenzo, I haven't heard from Audri yet”
“You have no right to call my name” he grabbed Earl by the collar of his shirt and pushed him against the wall.
“Dimitri stop, let us do this without lifting a finger or throwing fists. We don’t need that now, we need to hear from these peopled first so we know what to tell the police and give them a lead on what we found out.” Aiden cautioned and separated them before turning to Earl.
“I am being super calm right now and would not like to have to go through the stress of beating the truth out of you. You really haven't seen or heard from Audriana for days as you told us earlier?”
“Yes man, I have been meaning to tell her that I got a better job in a pastry shop downtown but hearing now that she is missing is taking a huge toll on me right now”
“How about Daniella? Have you heard from her and do you know where we can find her? You both hang out together with my wife”
“I know about that but I haven't seen or heard from her in a while. I think she is ghosting me or just trying to keep away from the public eye”
“Pfft, like she’s some kind of celebrity” Dimitri scoffed.
“Be calm Miguel. Now you know, let us or the police know when you have something.” Aiden gave him two cards to call.
“Sure, I will. Audri is my friend and I would love us to find her on time so she is safe and okay”
Dimitri looked at him from the crown of his head to the sole of his feet then pointed a finger at him as he took a threatening step towards him.
“If I come to a realization that you know something about her disappearance… I am going to do to you something you would regret for the rest of your li-” he was interrupted by the ringing of his phone.
He checked the caller and saw that it was his PA calling.
It was already dark and he had pushed all works and meetings till he can be able to be rest assured that she will be fine.
Wondering why he called he picked it up and moved away from the two men to inquiry why he was calling at this time of the day.
“Good evening sir” he greets.
“Is there a good reason you called?” he asked ignoring his greeting.
“There is something you would want to see,” he said and he looked at Earl then at Aiden then a frown laced his features and his heart raced a bit and the thought of whatever he was telling him relating to his wife made him scared and shaky.
“What is that?” he managed to ask and blinked several times to stop the spinning of his head.
“Just come sir and see for yourself,” he told him.
“Stay put I am coming now,” he told him before ending the call and pocketing his phone.
“Make sure you tell me whatever lead you found on her and I would be back here soon to make some things clear,” he said and signaled to Aiden so they could leave.
“Who was that?” Aiden asked when they left his apartment and headed for the car they came with to his place.
“Can we head to my office?” he asked him and Aiden raised an eyebrow at him.
