The Next day, at 7 pm,
"And where are you going to!.'
My father asks my mum!.
"To see a friend!."
My mum retort, acting normal.
"Let the driver accompanying you then!."
He wanders
"No need. I will hire a cab!."
she tells
"A cab!".
He wonders aloud
"Woman, with all these cars yet you want to hire a cab!. Are you hiding something!."
He can't figure it out
"No!. I just want to hire a cab. That's all!."
She gets mad
He lifts up his hands in defeat!.
"Stubborn woman!."
He tells himself. With that, he moves away
"Thank God he left!."
She gets relieved as he moves away.
She steps out of the gate and randomly hires a cop!.
At her arrival, Mr. Jackson is already waiting for her in his car, packed at one dark edge of an old building!. A man is standing by the car with a black suit, staring left and right!.
She steps down and moves to him shivering and unstable in her mind. The guy standing out shows her, her way in by opening the door for her.
As she enters the car, he smiles at her maliciously!
"Welcome, Mrs. H!."
He offers his hand
Yets she doesn't send hers.
"How have you been!.".
He tries to make the conversation
"Please Mr. J, I got no time to waste be straight forward!. So why is the reason for my presence here!."
She is nervous and direct
He moves his hand towards her face, she shifts back, until she can't shift any more.
As she can't shift anymore, he places his hand on her jaws, caresses it, then plucks her hairs behind her ear and move back with his hand. She is kind of hostile.
"Why... am... I... here?!."
She exclaims nervously
"Okay, let's talk business!."
He fixes himself on his seats pulling out some documents from his suitcase.
"Better!."
She exclaims, rolling her gaze
"I need your husband's signature on this file!. These three spots!."
He points out and hands them over to her
She immediately takes them and read
"My husband can't sign this!."
"Haha, he doesn't need to know!."
He laughs at her naivety.
"No, no, and no!. These fake documents might jeopardize him, which implies jeopardizing our family legacy, my legacy!. I am sorry Mr. J, I can't do this!."
She yells at him
"As it might not if nobody finds about this. Hahaha, these are risks we take every day!."
He boldly speaks
"This is illegal and worth 5 years imprisonment with your license taken off!. What you are asking from me is too much. How dare you as me such in the first place!. And more to this you didn't do anything for me, you aren't the detective!. I paid the detective for his work!. You are just being so selfish!."
She gets mad at his effrontery
"This is how it works!."
He mumbles
"With that said, I will like to leave and keep this in your mind, I don't owe you anything. Yet, I am grateful for the recommendation!."
With that, she shots the door and moves away!.
"She is crazy!."
He gets mad and hit the seat next to him
"I love her stamina!. Yet she will have to pay for this humiliation!."
He tells himself
"Take me out of this place!."
He yells at his drive.
Who immediately start the car and leave.
While my mum takes a cab home!.
"What an evening!."
She moves into her room, my dad is on the bed.
"What is wrong with you?. You have been acting weird since yesterday!."
"Never mind!."
She calms him,
"Hmmm!."
He exclaims, not convinced by her reply.
He keeps on working on his laptop!.
While she undresses, moves to the bathroom and lay in the bathing bowl.

I am home
{knocks on the door!.}
I quickly open, hoping to see Andrew.
"Good evening Grace!."
He greets softly
"Joshua!. And what are you doing here at this time of the night!."
I can't believe my eyes
"Please, can I get in!."
He asks
I hesitate!.
"Please!."
He insists
"Hmmm, yeah!."
I give up.
"Thank you!."
He moves in
"Sorry for barging at this time!."
"It's okay!."
It wasn't okay, who gave him my address.
"And sorry again, for giving you a wrong impression about me!. I will really like us to be friends!."
He explains
"I understand, however, you need not apologize. And for the friendship, I am not too sure!."
I mumble confused
"No problem, I can give you some time to think about it. It's just that I don't know anyone in this town. I don't even have friends to chat with, out of this town. The only friend I have doest want to speak with me anymore and I understand her!. This just gives me more reason to soak up!."
He explains with lots of pains
I feel sorry for him and I can't drive him away!. Though I'm not interested in his stories.
"Oh, that one friend is a she!. Your girlfriend?."
I carelessly ask, just to keep up with the conversation and to make him feel better.
"No oh!. She is just a friend!. And as a matter of fact, my brother's girlfriend or ex-girlfriend. I guess you met her at Berlin!."
He clarifies
This calls for my attention.
"Melissa!. You mean Melissa, Andrew's girlfriend is now his ex?."
I repeat
"Yeah!."
He answers
"What happened to both?."
I inquire, with all the interest of the world.
"Nothing tremendous. Andrew got fade up and broke up with her, the same day you left. Melissa packed out of the house a week later. Now, she isn't picking up my calls. Anyway, I understand her pains. I guess she needs some space!."
He explains...
I didn't care about all the rest.
"Oh, I am so sorry for her, and for you too!."
I am really
"Thank you!. She is one of these rare people who really understand me like no others. Not even my parents, they see me as a failure!. And all the glory goes to Andrew, the ideal son!. Andrew always has the best girls at his feet. Andrew the brilliant business. Ooh, this freaks me out!. Anyway, I have my alcohol to forget about all this frustration!."
He moves to my bar and pours out a glass of whiskey without my permission.
"Sorry!."
He lifts the glass in my direction and excuses himself.
"I think I will take one as well!."
I tell him
"Good!."
He smiles at me and pours out a glass and brings it to me.
"I hate Andrew!."
He tells me
"Don't!. You are a good guy, stop feeling bad, and be happy with who you are. Stop looking at things negatively. You have been given a new chance away from Andrew's shadow. You are in a new town with no Andrew by you. So you can be who you want to be without anyone judging you!."
I explain
He takes the bottle off the bar and brings it further.
"You are right. I wasn't seeing it that way!. Thank you!."
He tells me
I nod at him.
We drink.
We are both getting tipsy.
"Andrew isn't as perfect as he claims or as everyone thinks. He has his own dark shades. Maybe worse than mine!."
He recites due to the effects of the alcohol
"What do you me!."
I get stunned
"The kind of sex he practices gets addicted to it. He easily gets weary about ladies he sleeps. He has never really had a girlfriend apart from Melissa. He pays and practices contract-sex with different ladies!. There is a name for such... hmmm... I have forgotten "
He speaks
"How come you know such!."
This gets me really bothered.
"I made my small researches about his life. There was a time where I wanted to create an anonymous account publish his secrets and ruin his reputation!. Hahaha!. I was so furious yet I wasn't able to complete that evil act!."
He laughs at himself.
