Xander Redent
I looked at myself at the mirror to check my appearance. I reached Jacob and asked him to have dinner together. He invited me to the palace and I agreed of course because with that I can see Athena.
One of the guards opened the door for me and they led me to the living room for me to wait.
"Yes, Ms. Lemiere. We can work with it tomorrow." My brain reacted to Lemiere's name quickly and I looked around trying to find where the voice came from. I got up and walekd towards the stairs.
"Okay good, I want to show my parents the wedding dress first so please tell them again that I want an appointment on Thursday around 1." My eyes caught Athena talking to her secretary. My eyes caught how beautiful she is in her dark blue spaghetti strap dress. It fell unto her knees and not to mention how beautiful she is with her black hair.
"Anything else, Ms. Lemiere?"
"I think that's all. Can you help me find Jacob?" She said and then her secretary started to call someone. I walked towards the sofa again because Athena was heading towards the living room.
I turned to the door and waited for Athena to walk in.
"Xander!" I turned to the left side and found Jacob. I turned my head and I found Athena looking at me completely shocked.
"Hey Jacob, how are you doing?"
"I'm good, what brings you to London?" He asked as he turned his head to Athena. Athena walked to him and smiled. What a lucky bastard! He even gets a smile from her.
"Hey baby." Jacob kissed her right on the lips and I looked away because I can't bare to see it or else someone will die.
"Hey.. what is he doing here?" Athena asked and I turned back to them both.
"I just want to catch up with Jacob, is that wrong?" I asked as I looked straight to Athena's eyes.
"Do you want to join us, love?" Jacob asked and Athena shook her head.
"I rather die.. besides I have another meeting. See you tonight." Athena kissed Jacob's cheek and then she walked away.
"I love you, beautiful."
"Love you too." Athena answered and oh boy.. I want to kill this guy in front of me so bad. I hate it and he even said the L word. What a damn lucky shit bastard!
Me and Jacob walked towards his office room and he asked me to sit down. We talked about business things along with politics that is going on in the UK.
"Are you sure Athena is the one for you?" I asked and Jacob smiled. He looked at me completely with that lovey dovey eyes.
"Yes, she is the one. I really love Athena and it's crazy that I can fall in love this much and this deep for a person. She's amazing, Xander." Jacob said in a really happy tone and I can see that he genuinely loves Athena. He cares for Athena a lot than I thought.
"I can't wait to spend my whole life with her."
"Do you still let her play with cars?" I asked and Jacob looked at me weirdly.
"Cars? What do you mean?"
"She's a mechanic, Jacob. She loves cars." I said and Jacob gave me an expression that he has no idea about this. I swear I don't know that Athena didn't tell him.
"She never talks about cars or even mechanic related things." She loves it and how come she didn't tell Jacob about it. That's weird.
"How do you know about this?" Jacob asked me curiously.
"Me and Athena were friends even though we're not now." I said and sighed. Jacob nodded and his expression turned a little bit cold.
"Then why are you asking me if I'm sure that Athena is the one? Do you like her?" Jacob asked and he hit right on target.
"Yeah, I like her.. a lot."
"If you're thinking I will give her up to you and cancel the wedding, you're dreaming." Jacob said as he looked at me like he's going to kill me.
"I know that so well, that's why I came here.. I want to ask you a favor." I said truthfully.
"No!" He said even before I can say anything.
"I know what you're thinking, Redent, and trust me that you will never get her! She's mine and I will not let you near her."
"You might be the Prince of the UK but I'm a Redent, in case you forgot. She was mine, Jacob, and I will take her back." I said seriously and Jacob walked to me flying his fist right to my jaw. I fell down to the ground and wiped the blood from my lips.
"Don't even think about it!" Jacob voice was so loud and clear.
"One day, Jacob. Just give me one day to spend my time with her and after that.. I'll let her go and will never oppose the wedding." I said and I got up slowly.
"No!"
"Don't make me do this the hard way, Jacob, because you won't like it." I warned and he grabbed my collar.
"Do you think I'm a fool? You're going to take her away from me!" He said as he looked at right into my eyes.
"I've warned you, Jacob. It's either you'll give me a day with her or you will never see her again." I said and he shook his head.
"Give me a day and then I won't disturb your wedding or you won't have your wedding and you won't see her again." I said and Jacob scoffed.
"No! Don't even ever think about it, Xander!" Oh.. I got Jacob mad at me.
"Then.. it's your choice, Jacob." I smirked and he looked at me really suspiciously.
"I'm warning you Xander, if you try to take Athena from me.. you won't get it. She's mine and I'm marrying her soon."
"You don't know anything about Athena, Jacob. You do have her physically but you don't have her heart. I think she gave up a lot of things for you and one of them is the thing that she loves the most, cars and being a mechanic." I said seriously and he was looking at me like he's going to kill me.
"Get out from my palace, Xander. Camery and Redent won't have any connection again." He said as he walked to the window to look outside.
"Good to know, I don't even want to have a connection with a guy who has my girl." I said and I walked out of the room. My body froze when I saw Athena outside the room looking at me coldly.
"You just made me hate you more, Xander."
