“I know that,” Noah finally laughed a little.
“Okay, we can be friends,” I said, hoping to end this topic.
“No, I can’t,” he said unexpectedly.

“Then who are you to be?” I folded my arms against my chest.
“Iam... Iam a boy who desperately loves this girl but got...” I interrupted him before he finished whatever he’s saying.
“Noah, you are cute, handsome. Every girl wants to be your girlfriend. For example, take Cassie. That stupid princess hates everyone, but she’s so nice to you. You are such a good and likeable guy,”
“Whoa, whoa. Talk about anyone, but not Cassie. I don’t like her at all,”
“Then we can drop this topic,” I walked to open the door, but Noah stopped me again. What he’s going to tell now?

“Come inside, Sydney,” The Queen invited me into her room. I looked at the whole room, which is a perfect example of royalty. The bedroom and all the things are having a mixed colour of navy blue and white. I have never been in a room like it. Everything looked worth a fortune. The Crystal Chandelier is too stunning to take my eyes off it. But there’s no time to admire this. I need to ask for help and confess that I stole her diary.
“Can you talk about your parents and show me their photos if you have it,” The Queen said, seated on her luxury bed.
“I have the photo, but first I need to confess something, your majesty. Iam sorry.” I simply said as she blankly looked at me, having no idea what Iam about to say. I showed her Diary which I hid behind me for a while. Her eyes slowly moved to the Diary which Iam holding with trembling hands.
“This is...” she trailed off, and she had an angry expression on her face. That’s it. Iam dead. Now she won’t help me. I spoiled it all. I wish I hadn’t entered the library at all.
“Please, let me talk for a minute. Iam so, so sorry. I never meant to take this. I accidentally fell into a secret room when Iam in the library. I know I shouldn’t have seen your personal diary, but I am sorry for doing that. And I only saw a few pages and experienced your life. Forgive me,” I said, everything closing my eyes. I can’t look into her eyes. I must have made her angry now. She’s going to kick me out of this academy.
“Did you talk with Dorothy?” That’s her first question. What is he talking about?
“No... No, I didn’t,”
“Then how did you see my memories? No one can open it and travel through the memories except me, Dorothy, Peter. How did you do that?” she had a furious and curious look on her face. I thought anyone can open it.
“I... I don’t know... It happened when I kept my hand on it. That’s it.”
“But... I can’t understand. First of all, you aren’t supposed to see it or take it,” she said, snatching the book from me and throwing it on a nearby couch.
“Iam sorry...” I said it again, looking down at the floor.
“You know what? I always wondered about you since you came to this academy. You seem to be different. You have powers that nobody had and now you even got powers to see my diary when it can’t be opened by anyone. Who you really are?” she shockingly asked. She must have been holding this question since she saw me. I don’t even have the answer.
“Royals can only see this. You are not from a royal family and I heard you never been out of your house till you joined this Academy. I can’t understand why you need to hide from everyone,” she said, pacing her room furiously.
“Iam not the one who wants to hide. My aunt kept me hidden for my whole life. I never wanted that, and I never met my parents. I don’t have answers to any of this. Iam just a girl who missed every enjoyment in her life,” I talked with so many emotions I have inside.
“Who is your aunt? Why did she hide me? No one needs to be like that?” Victoria walked towards me, seeing me close to tears.
“I tried, but she never answered me. She simply said my parents want me to be safe from something. I don’t know what is it?” I said, giving Victoria my parents photo.
“I don’t have an idea about your situation but...”
“You don’t need to help me. I took your diary. You must be angry with me. I will figure this out by myself,” I said to her and brought my hands to take the photo back.
“No. Iam going to help you. I am not the one who breaks a promise and I accept Iam angry. You are not supposed to read any of my diary, but you confessed the truth. I respect those who are telling the truth.” She told and kept the photo with herself.
“Um... Thank you for helping me, your majesty. But can I ask you something about your diary?” I stupidly let those words without thinking. I can’t involve in her problems.
“You can ask because you have seen it,” she answered.
“That’s... I am sorry for your loss. You lost your child.” Victoria stayed silent for a minute, lost in thought.
“That’s okay. It’s been many years. I can’t able to get over it but I haven’t found the person who poisoned my daughter,” she told without showing any emotions in front of me.
“Why? Why can’t you able to find the person?” okay I can’t able to control my mouth. She’s going to tell me it’s none of your business.
“I tried, but I never succeeded in it. After years, Peter told me to move on and I did.” I can see she’s annoyed by my questions, but she’s being generous to her students.
“What about your sister’s behaviour?”
“You even saw my childhood memories?” She raised her eyebrow. I wish someone could tape my mouth. Someone should tape it.
“Sorry,”
“I want to know that, too. I can still do that by seeing her memories without her knowledge. But Iam not going to do that. We are only sisters by blood. Other than that, Iam nothing to her,” she said, giving up all her hope. She never moved on as she said. These things are bothering her even after many years.
“What if I could help you to find her memories?” That’s it, Iam crossing the limit.
