"I’ve been here since the beginning. I saw everything that happened between you and Shen Heyu."
"Forget everything you saw," Pei Yansi ordered before turning to leave, but Chen Lingmeng maneuvered her wheelchair to block his path, preventing him from leaving.
"Brother Yansi, what’s so good about that woman? She treats you , and you’re still so obsessed with her!" Chen Lingmeng truly didn’t understand in what way she was inferior to Shen Heyu; the man she adored was so smitten with Shen Heyu beyond reason.
Even though she was currently in a wheelchair, it’s not like she was actually disabled. She could still stand up anytime, ready to throw away the wheelchair if only Pei Yansi agreed.
"Let me make this clear to you, you don’t even compare to a single hair on her head, and don’t you ever compare yourself to her in front of me," said Pei Yansi coldly, as he prepared to walk away, but Chen Lingmeng couldn’t accept this.

After he was gone, Chen Wenzhou finally emerged from a car parked not too far away, and slowly walked up to Chen Lingmeng. He placed his hand on her shoulder, causing her to tremble with fright.
