At Annabel's house…
It was already morning but they were still asleep.
In Annabel's room, she laid on the bed and slept like a baby with David beside her. She enjoyed her sleep. As they slept, a call came in but that wasn't enough to wake her up. She felt it was a dream. Maybe, it's a dream.
Upon hearing the sound of the ringing phone, she turned to the other direction to change her sleeping position. She wasn't ready to wake yet. But then, the phone never stopped ringing. it rang and rang and when she realized the ringtone was now disturbing her sleep, Annabel woke up as she sat on the bed and stretched her body. Rubbing the sleep off her eyes before stretching out her right hand to pick up the phone that was placed on the drawer beside her bed to know who was calling. When she held her phone, she looked at the phone screen and saw it was one of her patients who was calling as she wondered why he was calling this early.
'Why are you calling now? Is his cock no longer working?'
Those were the thoughts that ran through Annabel's mind as she stared at her phone screen for the second time and gave a quick glance on David who was still fast asleep before she finally picked the call.
On the phone…
She picked the call and decided not to speak. But then, she heard someone speak.
"Hello."
Unto hearing That, Annabel cleared her throat as she replied.
"Good morning. Why call this early? Is everything okay?."
She curiously asked as she looked at David who was already awake by hearing her voice. She smiled at him before giving him a romantic early morning kiss as she continued her call.
"Why call this early?" She asked again.
"Sorry if my call disturbed you. I tried to hold myself from calling this early. I also tried to hide it from you and everyone. Believe Me… I tried and I'm still trying. That's why I haven't told you yet." He said.
Annabel on the other hand was confused and didn't know what he meant. She got curious and confused but then, she asked.
"Tried to hide what?" She asked, looking up at David who was already looking at her and was anxious to know who she was talking to.
Annabel and David looked at each other as questions were written all over David's face as fear gripped Annabel as if she already knew the reason for the call.
She kept mute as she waited for her patient to speak. She doesn't have to wait any longer because he finally spoke, stuttering out words.
"That day… I mean that day at the hospital." He said as he tried very hard to speak. He was damn scared because he already knew who Annabel was. He wasn't ready to go to jail yet and he wasn't ready to get insulted but he just needed to say it out so he would be free from that, once and for all.
He swallowed his own saliva as he continued his statement while Annabel waited impatiently to hear what he had to say and as for David, David never stopped wondering who the caller was. He was sure the call wasn't about Mr. Evidence and he was also sure that the caller was a male.
"I'm all ears." Said Annabel.
"That day at your hospital,... I… After we got intimate, there was something I wanted to tell you even before we started sexing each other. I was just scared and I couldn't speak."
He said and as Annabel heard his words, she got curious and scared. She was becoming too impatient to hear the reason he called as she spoke.
"I said I'm listening! What do you want to say and why did you call me this early?"
She angrily said but she tried her best not to make her anger obvious but it was obvious she was damn angry and the caller could feel it. He could feel her anger that he felt telling her anything at this point would really mess things up for him but he never regretted calling because he hadn't been at peace ever since that day he had sex with Annabel at Annabel's hospital.
"I think I have…"
"You have what?" Annabel curiously asked as she looked at David and swallowed her saliva.
"I think I have feelings for you."
'He thinks! He isn't even sure!' She said to herself inwardly.
He finally spoke out! Annabel, hearing his statement, got angry and imagined he was present so she could give him a dirty slap for disturbing her sleep with her dearest David.
In frustration, Annabel took a deep sigh of relief before she spoke. But because David was beside her, she decided to act calmly.
"We will talk about that at the hospital." She said as she ended the call and looked at David.
"Good morning, baby."
She greeted and gave him a peck on his lips but then, she was too late to distance her lips from His because immediately she pecked David's lips, he suddenly held her back the moment he felt her lips leaving his.
"Where are you going?"
He asked, holding her wrist as fear gripped Annabel as he asked again.
"Aaah? That wasn't a kiss. Was it?"
Annabel, hearing his second question, sighed in relief. She had actually thought he would ask her who was on the call with her but then, he spoke.
"Who were you talking to? And why does he have to call so early in the morning."
David asked. Annabel on the other hand didn't know what to say but finally, she came up with something.
She nervously spoke.
"Oh… the call? Hmmm… yeah. He is my patient and I think he is having a health issue but hid it from his wife. I'll sort it out when I go to the hospital. Baby, don't worry about that. Okay?"
Said Annabel as she tried being a naughty girlfriend by saying;
"Do you want a longer kiss? Aaaah?"
She sexily asked.
David, who heard her question, smiled as he claimed her lips at once without her permission and started kissing her as if he had been starved of kiss For a very long time.
Rose could feel the gentleness of his lips as she spoke into his mouth.
"Baby, suck my tongue."
Said Annabel as David smiled as usual. It was obvious he wanted to do it before she asked for it.
Without any warnings, he started sucking her tongue. He sucked it for sometime before a knock interrupted.
"Come in."
Said Annabel as herself and David gazed at the direction of the door to see who it was. The door opened and they saw it was Rose.
"Good morning, David. Goodmorning, sister. It's already morning. When are we going to the hospital?"
Rose asked.
David and Annabel who heard her question sadly sighed at once as they felt pity for her.
"Sister, don't worry. We will leave soon."
Said Annabel as David added.
"Yes Rose. We will be going to the hospital soon. Don't worry." Said David.
Rose nodded as she turned and was about to leave the room before she heard Annabel speak.
"Did you check for Mara yet? Is she still sleeping?"
Annabel asked.
"No, I haven't yet. You can check for yourself." Rose replied as she walked out of Annabel's room, walking towards her room to freshen up and to also get ready for the day.
At Mara's room…
Still lying on the bed, Mara rolled as she open her eyes, seeing that it was already morning. She laid and never stopped rubbing her eyes. Immediately she remembered that they were to have a second round before she fell asleep, she couldn't stop smiling as she remembered what happened last night. After what happened last night, even without being told, she knew Daniel would be tired until now.
She looked at Daniel who was fast asleep and when she was certain that he hadn't woken up yet, she gently moved out of the bed and headed towards the drawer. She dipped in her hand and brought out a pill and with the help of a bottle of water that was placed on the drawer, she swallowed the pill.
She had unprotected sex last night and she wasn't ready to get pregnant. She still needed to spend more time with her darling Daniel before expecting any baby.
Once she was done taking the pill, she walked towards her wardrobe to wear a skinny as she tried walking out of the room to check on Annabel and Rose before coming back to clean the mess on the floor but then, she heard a voice.
"Good morning baby."
Daniel, greeted.
