Author's POV
"Will you kill me too if I betray you?..."
Rosetta asked and he looked at her silently, not answering her question.
"I don't think you are stupid enough to do something like that... I believe that you won't do anything like that and you doesn't have any reason either..."
He replied casually.
"That's not the answer to my question"
She replied looking at him curiously.
Skyler sighed.
"No Rosa!... I can't kill you. I can't even think about it but I won't be able to trust you again... I hate betrayal..."
He looked at her giving her full attention.
"I have given you the special place in my life and my heart... I expect the loyalty from you in every aspect of our life. No matter what's the situation because I am going to do the same..."
He held her hand gently.
"We shouldn't hide anything from each other as we have started a new beginning and I believe that i know important things about your life... Is there anything else I need to know?"
Rosetta stared at him blankly. Yes, there are lot of things he needs to know but she isn't ready to tell him. But he has started trusting her and as a husband he needs to know that there are people stalking her.
Rosetta cleared her throat.
"No you don't know everything about me Skyler..."
She said and he raised his eyebrows.
"But first I need time to find it out for myself... There are confusions... I can't tell you that right now but I will, I need some time... As i said, I need to look for more... I hope you understand. I don't want you to misunderstand me if something happens. I know trust is very important and I want you to trust me... I can never hurt you purposely."
Skyler nodded in understanding.
"As long as you are mine, I won't mind... Take your time, I'll always be there for you..."
He leaned forward and kissed her forehead.
Rosetta gave him pleasing smile. They went to the shop and did shopping for both of them.
After having dinner they head back home and went to the bed.
"Shopping is exhausting"
Rosetta sighed.
Skyler chuckled.
"Should I consider myself lucky for that..."
He asked turning towards her on the bed.
"As if I use your money everytime..."
Rosetta rolled her eyes while covering her upto neck with bed sheet.
"No you doesn't... But why you won't do that?... You got a rich husband, make use of it"
He teased.
Rosetta chuckled.
"I have a rich father too... He will bring world to my feet if I demand but I don't like it... Being an independent is very good feeling... It makes me confident..."
"Understandable..."
Skyler hummed, looking at her adoringly.
"I are lot like your mother, Rosa..."
Rosetta turned towards him and looked at him curiously.
"Please don't tell me that you like me because I look like my mother... She is your childhood crush... I heard you were crying to marry her. You even threatened my father..."
She teased.
Skyler laughed and nodded.
"Yes, I was very fond of her..."
"Why?..."
She asked with huge grin on her face. She wants to know about his childhood.
"I mean she is cold. She isn't actually good with children. Why would you like her that much.."
Skyler smiled.
"I am naturally attracted to strong and confident woman... Mom isn't really strong, she used to cry every day... She used to hide it from me, obviously but I have witnessed her misery and as a child it affect me... I used to think that she cries because she missed dad like i used to cry whenever I lose my toy. I didn't understand the depth of her emotions.... I always used to think how it would be to be around a strong woman. Who doesn't cry or scares everyone. My mother is sweet, she can't even scare a child... Then your father kidnapped me."
"He kidnapped you?... He usually doesn't target woman or children"
She replied amused.
"It wasn't really kidnapping... He was helping mom to hide from dad and he was friend with mom... Mom trusts him very much. Damian knight will be always her hero for that..."
He sighed and Rosetta smiled proudly. She knows that her father has soft corner. He is actually kind than her mother.
"When he kidnapped me I was crying my heart out... His scary men were definitely not approachable for child. He tried to console me but it didn't help... That time I saw your mother..."
"What did she do?"
Rosetta asked.
"She didn't like that he kidnapped child for his dirty business... She scolded everyone and even Damian who was her boss at that time. It was very amusing for me... The way she growled like angry tigress and everyone stepped back. I became her fan... And she was the first person whom I saw as an safe place in that house... I clinged to her..."
He chuckled.
"She was pretty too... She was taken a back but I didn't let her go. I was in her room whole day. She didn't even utter a word but she was watching me. I saw the way she behaved and liked it, I wanted to become like her... And I was naive, I asked her to marry me..."
"In front of my father?"
Rosetta laughed.
"Yes, in front of your father... Rose didn't crush my hope, she was gentle with me... And after my mother's accident she took care of me as my mother wasn't strong enough to run after me. I used to spend time with her and that time she was pregnant with you..."
He explained.
"Really?"
Rosetta asked amused.
"Yes, I was jealous of Uncle Damian. I used to play pranks on him and rose used to protect me from him..."
He chuckled.
"That's why he hates you"
She sighed.
"Yeah, I was really naughty... I used to rub her pregnant belly and ask her when she is going to give me bride..."
He smiled.
"As time passed by, I became mature and realised that i need someone like rose in my life. But never imagined that I will actually marry her daughter one day..."
"So, it means you have seen me in my childhood..."
Rosetta gasped.
"Don't be awkward but I have seen you in diapers... I was eight years old at that time"
He laughed.
Rosetta Groaned and closed her eyes.
"God!... Don't tell me that..."
He laughed at her.
"You used to run in the house only with diaper and fake sword... You must be 3 years old at that time. But you were tough among triplets. You used to beat your brothers... We have Played together"
"Really?... I don't remember any of that... Neither we have pictures..."
She replied.
"We do... Rose must have kept it somewhere..."
He said.
"I am glad that have witnessed your childhood..."
He caressed her cheek lovingly.
"I can remember every second of it..."
"Just forget about that diaper thing..."
She scrunched her nose making him Chuckle.
"Your smile is fascinating..."
She complimented.
Skyler kissed her forehead and smiled.
"And you are the reason behind it..."
Rosetta kissed his cheek.
"Good night..."
"Good night"
He replied and switched off the lights.

Rosetta was getting ready for the party. She was wearing purple deep neck gown.
"Are you ready?"
She heard skyler asking from the door.
"Can you help me with the zipper, I can't reach to the hook..."
She requested while struggling to do it.
"Sure"
He walked towards her and helped her with it.
"You are looking breathtaking..."
He said and placed kiss on her neck. Rosetta released a low moan by his soft touch.
"Thank you... You are looking handsome too..."
She smiled. He was wearing black tuxedo.
"It will be hard not to pluck every eye which is going to gawk at you."
He said.
"This is very brutal way to compliment..."
She chuckled.
"Let's go"
"We can cancel it if you want"
He wrapped his hand around her waist.
"It will be just you and me"
He nuzzled in her neck.
"Skyler let's go"
She playfully pushed him away making him chuckle.
He held her hand and they both walked outside towards their car. Within few minutes they reached the venue.
It was big hall with decent but Elegant decoration. Afterall it was a business party.
They started greeting other people and after sometime she excused herself from skyler and walked towards washroom.
That corridor was empty like no one was in need of using washroom.
She was about to get in but Vlad crossed her path. She halted in her place when he blocked her way.
