Author's POV
Skyler came out behind her.
"Are you okay?"
He asked.
She turned around in the water looking at him in panick. She wrapped her hand around him and hugged him, for a second she thought she lost him and that second felt like year.
"Are you okay?"
She asked and he held her up by one arm, hugging her back.
"Yeah... Let's Get out of here... Yacht is totally destroyed..."
He said and they swam out of the water. Thankfully they were near small island.
Rosetta walked out of the water ahead of skyler.
"I don't understand what suddenly happened... It was working fine..."
She said and turned around to look at him.
Her eyes widened when she saw his shirt.
"Skyler what happened to you?"
She quickly approached him. His shirt was dripping with blood.
Skyler's face turned painful.
"I got stabbed with the rod when I jumped in the water... It's fine... Don't worry"
He answered while covering his wound with his hand and trying to stop bleeding.
"No!... It's not fine... It's bleeding..."
She said looking at it.
She took her scarf which was around her neck and tied around his torso to stop bleeding.
"You can't lose blood skyler... It will make you weak..."
She said.
Skyler smiled between his painful expressions by seeing her worrying about him.
"We should find some safe and warm place first... It's getting dark..."
She suggested and he nodded.
"Can you walk?..."
She asked.
"Hold on me... I think there is something like house. It might be helpful..."
Skyler wrapped his hand around her shoulder and she helped him to walk. They somehow reached the place. It was abandoned cabin. Almost ruined due to lack of care but good enough for them to spend night.
Rosetta broke the rusty lock and entered first, it was filled with dust and darkness.
She took one of the white cloth which was covering furniture and sprawled it on the floor, leaving clean side up.
"Sit here let me check..."
She said and skyler happily sat on the cloth.
He looked at her naughtily when she started unbuttoning his shirt.
"Stop looking at me like that... I am just helping you..."
She said keeping her face neutral.
"And why are you helping me?... Last time I checked you hated me..."
He asked but hissed when she touched his wound.
Rosetta looked at him with blank face. Yes, she is worried about him. She got scared when she saw that yacht burning and thought something happened to him. After today's incident she realised that she cares about him. He matters to her but she wasn't going to accept it.
"Because I am returning your favor... You helped me when I hurt my shoulder now it's my turn..."
She replied.
"Are you sure that's the only reason?"
He asked mischievously.
Rosetta ignored his question and turned on the torch of her mobile as it was dark to see his wound. She inspected it closely.
"It's not that deep but you should be careful... Extreme movements might trigger it we need to take you to the doctor."
She informed.
"I'll call someone for help..."
She was about to call but her phone switched off on the same time.
"Fuck... What's wrong with this thing."
She cursed.
"Give me your mobile"
She said looking at him.
"I don't have mobile. I dropped it somewhere..."
He replied.
"What?"
She frowned.
"How can you?... Now we are stuck here..."
"I know..."
He smiled and she looked at him in disbelief.
"You think this is funny... Skyler you need treatment as soon as possible. We have to stay here god knows how much time..."
She scolded.
"You take things too serious Babe. Relax. This isn't first time that I am injured... We will find way out tomorrow morning. We can't do anything it's already night and ships must have went back to the port... So relax and enjoy your adventure..."
He tried to calm her down.
She sighed. He was right, they can't do anything right now.
"I'll bring something for fire... We are wet..."
She said standing up.
"I'll come with you"
He said.
"I don't have energy to carry grown ass baby with me... Do me a favor and stay here..."
She replied.
He chuckled.
"Do you want to see my daddy side... Trust me, you can't handle that..."
Rosetta rolled her eyes and started walking out.
"Be careful... Don't go too far, this island has poisonous snakes..."
He warned.
"I can protect myself"
She replied and went out.
Rosetta started looking for firewood, it was hard to find because of darkness but it was starry night so is was little helpful.
She was in disbelief because of skyler's behavior. She haven't seen him behaving like this in front of other people. There he acts like boss and in front of her he is naughty boy and flirty teenager.
He was definitely bringing different shades of emotions out of her.
She collected firewood and was about to go back but she heard rustling of leaves.
She got alert and started looking around carefully. She again heard the same voice. She took the pointed wooden stick and threw it in the direction like Javelin.
She hit the target and the man Groaned in pain as it stabbed him in the eye.
"Who are you?"
She asked firmly. By his attire he was looking Like goon. She went closer and saw Vlad's emblem tattooed on his left cheek.
It made her eyes go wide. He has sent his men to attack them, specially Skyler and he is injured to fight with them.
"How many of you are here?"
she questioned but he refused to answer.
She twisted his wrist painfully making cracking voice bones.
"Answer me"
She growled.

That man screamed in pain.
She snapped his neck killing him on the spot.
"6 more"
She said standing up.
She started looking around carefully and spotted another. Rosetta grabbed his by throat and pressed on the spot which made him pass out on the spot. She didn't wait for a second before killing him.
She killed two men but now she was surrounded by remaining 5.
"We want her alive..."
One of them said.
One of them attacked her and she started fighting with her but to her badluck he was good in fight.
Others attacked her too but before they could touch her their dead bodies fell on the floor.
Rosetta stood there stunned. It took her moment to recollect what happened.
One man has arrow in his head exactly between his eyes. Whoever did this has mastery in archery.
Second one has dagger in his heart.
Third one has dagger in neck.
Fourth one was hanging on the tree with thin wire.
And fifth one was lying headless.
She quickly looked away from the dead bodies and tried to find out who did this.
She looked around but couldn't see anyone but then heard someone whispering close to her ear.
"Looking for me sweetheart?..."
She turned around with gasp and was ready to attack but got blocked.
"You?"
Her eyes widened.
