My agency called me all of sudden. I told Deandre about it and he just gestured to me to go back to New York. I started to pack my things and get ready to go out.
"I'm going.. see you in New York." I said to Deandre and he gestured to me to wait. He's calling someone and I waited for him by sitting on the sofa in the living room. After he's done calling someone, he walked in.
"Let's go.. I'm going back too." He said and I nodded.
"You luggage?" I asked.
"Let it be here.. This is my house anyway." He said and I walked out first dragging my luggage. One of the guards helped me to carry it into the car. Deandre got into the car and I looked around Santorini once again. I promised myself that I will come back next time. I got inside the car and Deandre's chauffeur drove us back to the airport.
Deandre kept looking outside the window and I'm busy with my phone. I opened the email of our wedding photos and yes it's beautiful but somehow it looks so.. fake. There's no sparks in both of our eyes.
"Stop here for a second." Deandre suddenly said and then the chauffeur pulled over. We stopped in this beautiful view of the sea and he got off. I got off too. I walked to him and stood beside him.
"Do you love Santorini so much?" I asked.
"I was born in New York but I grew up here." He answered and that's quite a surprise for me that he wanted to answer that. He turned to me suddenly and I turned my body facing him.
"Next week, there's a gala dinner. I want you to come with me."
"Okay." I said and he nodded. He walked to the car and got inside again. I turned to the view and decided to take a picture. I ran to the car and got inside. The chauffeur started to drive to the airport again.
"Why did you decide to go home? I mean.. I can go home alone."
"Don't even think I'm going back home just because I don't want to be you alone or something like that.. there's a problem." He hissed coldly. Okay.. back to the cold Deandre again.
As soon as we arrived at the airport, we got into the jet and Deandre sat beside me. We sit the way we sat for the first time. I put on my seatbelt and he put his. Not long after that we took off. Deandre fell asleep right away and I guess he was so tired since he can't sleep when he's in Santorini.
I asked the air stewardess to give me a blanket and I put the blanket on him. My eyes stuck to him when he was sleeping and I can't help but smile seeing him like this. It's quite fascinating to see a cold person when they're sleeping but that's the only way you can see that they're acting peacefully and calm instead of giving a cold and scary vibe.
I ate on the plane and I was planning to wake him but remembering him had all these nightmares, I just let him sleep. After that.. I decided to read the book that he gave to me. I was reading when suddenly turbulence came. My body was shaking and I hugged my knees. I closed my eyes hoping it will go away fast. Deandre grabbed my hand making me jump.
"Took off your seatbelt." He said and I turned to him completely dumb. My hands were shaking. He took it off for me and pulled me to his lap. He opened his seat belt and put it again with me in it. He hugged me tightly and he caressed my back. He closed his eyes and I put my arms around his neck.
My body was shaking a lot and I felt a little safe in his arms. After 10 minutes, the turbulence stopped but Deandre fell asleep. I heard him snoring a little bit. I put his head on my shoulder and patted his arm. His arms fell down signaling that he fell asleep big time.
I kept patting his arm and then took the seatbelt on because it's uncomfortable. Suddenly he moved in his sleep hugging me tighter. Okay.. now I can't get out or even move to my seat. I decided to stay there and let him sleep.
I smiled looking at his peaceful side and I found myself kissing his forehead. I stayed here and fell asleep too.
I opened my eyes and found myself laying in bed. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I looked around and there's no Deandre around. I got up and walked out the room. I found Deandre sleeping again but in a different seat. I smiled seeing him and sat across him. I took my phone out and secretly took a photo of him.
"He will hate me later on." I whispered.
I checked the time and it's 1 hour before the landing and I can't help but excited to be in New York. I have work right away anyway but still I love my job.
I decided to change my clothes ready to go to work. I have a photoshoot with Calvin Klein and then a dinner with a beauty brand. I will go home late today but it's okay.
Deandre woke up suddenly and he saw me. He sat up straight and rubbed his eyes. He looked out the window and we waited for the landing. None of us talk after that.. besides there's nothing to talk about. I walked to my previous seat to put in the book that he gave me into my bag.
We landed safely and when the door opened.. my manager came in because I have to go there fast.
"I will come home late." I said to Deandre and he just nodded lightly. I walked out from the jet and got into the car. Suddenly someone knocked on my window, I turned to see one of Deandre's bodyguards. He opened the door and gave me a small note.
I will have a flight to Italy tonight.
I don't know when I will come back.

"Thanks." I said and he closed the door. I sighed seeing the note again. I guess.. I'll see him.. I don't know when..
