I walked out from the bathroom after a long warm bath. I saw Deandre already sleeping on the bed and I decided to go to the balcony for a while. I sat down on the chair and looked up to the sky to see the moon. I smiled looking at it and I reached my hand up like I was going to reach the moon.
My eyes landed on the ring that attached to my ring finger. I looked at it and sighed. The ring is beautiful but it's meaningless. I can't even smile looking at it. I hate it. I walked inside planning to sleep but I saw Deandre's sweating and his body was shaking. It was like he's having a nightmare.
I walked to him and moved his body. He suddenly took out a gun and pointed it at me. My eyes widen and his eyes widen too. He breathed heavily and then he threw the gun away to the floor.
"I'm sorry." He said as he got up from the bed and then he walked out from the room. I blinked a few times and turned my head to see the gun on the floor. I took it and put it in the drawer beside the bed. I walked out the room to find Deandre and he's currently sitting down on the stairs running his hands through his hair.
I walked to him and sat beside him. I'm not going to ask anything since he hates it. He acted like he's stressed about something and I know something is bothering him. He kept looking at the ground and he wiped his sweats away.
"I will send a jet to pick you up tomorrow, you can go back to Ne-"
"No. I'm staying here." I cut him and he just stayed silent. He got up and then he walked away leaving me alone. What's with him? I mean.. since day one he already got me curious about him. He suddenly came to my dad's company giving him a lot of money and then he forced me to marry him and now he's acting like a stressed or depressed man. He almost killed me earlier too.
But somehow I saw his caring side a little between his cold side. He gave me a hot patch, hugged me to comfort me about the turbulence without asking why and then.. dinner even though he left me as we arrived here.
It's crazy to think that I forgot about Eric that fast after I heard he cheated on me and how he wanted me to marry Deandre for the sake of money. Me and Eric almost get married and now I easily forget him. Wow.. Tatiana, you're a really weird girl. I mean I still remember our memories and there's still feelings there but.. it's almost gone.
I was angry too when he didn't show up at my wedding. I mean if he begged for forgiveness, I will surely go back to him right away but he didn't even show up. I was pissed realizing it and I don't have any other choice but to let him go. I can't hold him forever when all he wanted was to be free.
I got up from the stairs and walked back into the house. Deandre went back to sleep and I slowly laid my body on the bed. I turned my head to Deandre and found him already sleeping soundly again. I closed my eyes planning to sleep but I felt Deandre's body shaking again. I opened my eyes and saw him sweating again. I moved closer to him and caressed his arm and patted it gently. He opened his eyes and he sat down right away.
"I know I can't ask this but.. I'm a little worried about you." I said as I sat beside him. He took a really deep breath and let it out. He laid back to the bed again and I laid my body beside him. He closed his eyes again and I moved away a little bit. I closed my eyes ready to sleep but I felt Deandre holding my hand. I was so shocked to feel his big and warm hand holding mine.
I opened my eyes and found he's starting to drift away. He let go of my hand and then he went to sleep again. I moved closed again and wiped his sweat slowly with my long sleeve pyjamas. I pulled the blanket to cover our bodies and I went to sleep after that.
I opened my eyes and found the bed was empty. Deandre already got up and I slowly got off the bed. I stretched my body and walked to the bathroom. I screamed when I saw Deandre currently shirtless with a shaving cream on his face. I was scared to death.
"What the hell?!" Deandre burst.
"Oh my god.. you literally scared me!" I hissed and he just rolled his eyes. I put my hand on my chest and took a really deep breath to calm myself.
"Why didn't you lock the door?"
"I forgot." He said and my eyes landed on his perfect muscular body. I looked away that second and rested my head on the door.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"Nothing." I said and I walked away. I sat down on the bed waiting for him to finish. He walked out from the bathroom full-cloth and I let out a sigh of relief.
"I will be back late at night." He said.
"Where are you going?" I asked and he gave me a really annoying expression.
"I'm your wife.. I mean.. this." I pointed at the ring, "I don't want to feel worried and things like that."
"Going to see a friend." He said and then he left. I was speechless and I laid on my bed again. I looked up to the ceiling and sighed.
"I regret marrying that jerk."
