I got out of my car and walked into my house. My eyes landed on Tatiana's back right away. She was sitting on the bench facing the garden. She looked up to the sky blankly. It was like she's looking for something up there.
I remembered our first meeting 7 months ago. We met at the bar and she's drunk and sober at the same time which was pretty interesting to watch. She sat on the table beside mine and she was talking to her friends like a drunk woman. She talked about Eric like he's a prince charming.
She was so happy until she stood on the table and all eyes on her. She was dancing and calling Eric like she's reading a mantra. Me and my friends talked again when suddenly she came to our table. She pointed her index finger at me and smiled.
She introduced herself and then she walked back to her table. We all laughed seeing her and after that we ignored her presence again. At some point, I got up and walked to the toilet. I heard someone crying and I walked to the corner of the hallway.
I saw Tatiana crying there sitting on the ground. She looked up to me and she wiped her tears quickly. She got up from the ground and then she walked away.
"Tatiana! Are you okay?" I saw her friends get her.. so her name is Tatiana huh? I texted my private investigator to find more information about her. In an hour, my investigator texted me back that she's Tatiana Kamerie.
My heart crushed right away knowing that she's a Kamerie. I hate Kamerie with all of my life, soul and every inch of my cells. Ever since that day, I started to find out more about Tatiana and here I am.. I'm currently holding her fate in the palm of my hand.
"Why are you doing this to me?" She asked when I walked out to the garden. I just stayed silent because why should I answer that?
"Imagine that the girl that you love.. is forced to get married with someone else.. What will you do?"
"Love does exist but I hate it." I said simply with a really boring tone.
"I don't care if you hate it.. but I believe in it. I love Eric and I can't live without him... well it was before I heard he cheated on me."
"You're too dumb not to realize that he's using you to take over your dad's company."
"He treated me so well.. and he even got me a diamond ring." She said and I laughed dryly.
"You're so pathetic. Guys are all douchebags and you still believe a good guy exist? There's no good guys left in this world." I said.
"You too right?"
"Babe, I'm a mafia. I kill people for a living." I said and I turned to her. Her jaw dropped and she looked at me in disbelief. She gulped nervously and I saw her shaking a little bit.
"A mafia?" Ex-mafia actually.. It's fun to see her get scary.
"Are you going to kill my dad?" She asked and I nodded. That's the truth though, I will kill her dad.
"What?!"
"After your dad, you are next." I smirked.
"He's lying.. He's far from a mafia." I turned my head to Lucas. What the fuck is he doing here?
"He's not a mafia?" Tatiana asked Lucas and Lucas shook his head.
"He's just messing with you.. I'm Lucas by the way, his best friend." Lucas smiled and put his hands in front of her. She shook it.
"I'm Tatiana." She said.
"What are you doing here anyway?" I asked him and he gave me a file. I took it from him and he patted my arm.
"Where's Crystal?" I asked him.
"She's in Florida."
"You're Crystal's boyfriend?" Tatiana asked.
"Yup.. You know her?" Lucas pretended and Tatiana nodded.
"Go.. you're interrupting me." I hissed at him and Lucas smirked. I pushed him and he bid his goodbye to Tatiana briefly. I looked at the file and then walked back into the living room.
"Deandre.. What if you meet someone you love and you're married to me.. later on you can't do anything right?" Tatiana asked in a really careful tone as she sat across me. I looked up to her.
"I will divorce you and be with her.. but that's impossible because I don't have a heart." I said in a cold tone.
"Wow.. you do think girls like they're your property."
"I do." I said as I put all my attention to the file that Lucas gave me earlier.
"Well you force me to marry you because my dad has your money.. you will get a benefit but what will I get?"
"Me? Get a benefit? What benefit?" I asked as I looked at her. She was speechless.
"If you think.. you're the benefit that I have.. I don't see you as one. You will get a benefit that is to marry a guy like me.. you should feel lucky and blessed." I smirked and turned my head to the files.
"You know.. we can fall in love in the middle of the process.." She said and I raised my eyebrows. I laughed dryly and then looked up to her again. I walked to her and looked at her right in her eyes.
"You read too many romance novels and watch too many romance movies.. Let me tell you something, Kamerie, everything you watch in romance movies.. they're all fake and there's no such thing as true love and spend your whole life with that person. Be realistic.. Tatiana." I said as I caressed her cheek with the back of my fingers.
"You're a fucking asshole!" She hissed as she pushed my hand away.
"You'll see.. I will make you regret picking me!" She pointed her index finger at my chest and then turned her body around.
"You won't dare to say that later on, Tatiana." I said and she stopped walking. She turned to me glaring and I think she was going to say something but she holds it.
"You and your dad will be on your knees begging.. one day.." I hissed whispering..
