Chapter 3

Su Qing turned pale with fright and quickly kneeled down onto the ground. She grabbed Li Shi’s clothes and begged repeatedly, “Mother, Yao Er is Mu Cheng’s only offspring! I can go to the Zhang’s residence, but Yao Er must stay in the Mu family!”
Su Qing knew that Li Shi had long hated her. With Mu Cheng gone, Li Shi would definitely try to get rid of her, but Yao Er must not enter the Zhang residence.
That Zhang residence is an abyss for suffering. Zhang Caizhu is not young, yet he exceptionally loves tender little girls. Who knows how many women he has ruined for the past few years. If Mu Yunyao were to go…the result would be too dreadful. With Mu Cheng gone, Su Qing had already lost all will to live anyway. She could just go to the Zhang residence and die.

Mu Yunyao’s eyes were bloodshot as she turned her head to look at Li Shi. Her heart was filled with loathing, the hate was so strong that it was as if it could materialise and bite off a chunk of Li Shi’s flesh.
In her previous life, Li Shi had threatened to sell Mu Yunyao for silver to force her Mother to go to the Zhang residence. In the end, however, Li Shi ended up going back on her word and kidnapped Mu Yunyao to the Zhang residence.
Not only did that bastard Zhang Caizhu humiliate her Mother, he even tried to push down Mu Yunyao. To protect Mu Yunyao, her Mother used a porcelain shard to attack Zhang Caizhu. Her Mother was caught and tortured alive, whereas Mu Yunyao was fortunate enough to escape with a broken leg, thus beginning a tragic life.
The days after those events was filled with regret. Mu Yunyao swore that if she could go back to the beginning, she would definitely kill Li Shi, the one who started all of her and her Mother’s pains!
Hearing Su Qing agreeing to her terms, Li Shi sneered, her eyes filled with scorn. She spat onto Su Qing’s clothes, “Ha! If you had agreed earlier, I would not have had to waste my breath. As expected, you are a loose woman, there was no use to pretend to be clean. Ha! A promiscuous woman like you pretending to be loyal……”
Li Shi was very happily insulting Su Qing. She had always despised Su Qing’s soft and virtuous aura. She felt very refreshed when torturing Su Qing.
Su Qing was so deeply grieved that her entire body wobbled. Ever since she married into this family, she had always been hated by Mother-in-law. She thought that if she treated her with utmost respect, she might be complimented by her. Li Shi was attacked by Mu Yunyao’s hateful glare. She felt a chill run down her spine. When she returned to her senses, she immediately growled with annoyance, “Wench! How dare you look at me this way! Your Mother is like that and you are someone else’s illegitimate kid. Get out, all of you go to the Zhang residence!”
Su Qing immediately held Mu Yunyao, “ Yao Er, quick, kowtow! You must beg your Grandma to allow you to stay here……”
Instead, Mu Yunyao got of the bed and rushed to the wardrobe. She took out a pair of scissors from the sewing kit and ran towards Li Shi, the scissors aimed at her. This old hag destroyed the person who treasured her most and also destroyed the rest of her life. She must kill her. She must kill her immediately!
Li Shi was dumbfounded. She had never thought that this little wench, who had always been the one to be bullied, would suddenly launch a revolt. Only until Mu Yunyao had rushed right in front of her, when those scissors were about to strike her, did she scream and punch Mu Yunyao.
Mu Yunyao was already out of strength. At that moment, she had really wanted to murder Li Shi. However, her body was still too tiny and she still had many injuries. “Mother, Mother, please beat me, please beat me. Please forgive Yao Er, she is still a little girl!” Su Qing threw herself in Li Shi’s way and protected Mu Yunyao under her.
Li Shi was filled with ungovernable fury. When she saw Su Qing rushing towards her, she took a small broom from the side and started to hit Su Qing and Mu Yunyao right in their faces.
Mu Yunyao fiercely bit her teeth, her mouth was filled with the metallic taste of blood. She pushed Su Qing away and glared at Li Shi was animalistic fury. “Beat me! If you have the guts, then beat me to death! If you do not kill me today, I will definitely kill you in the future! You old hag, as long as the Heavens are not blind, you will definitely get retribution for the sins you have committed today!”
