…..Maxwell was sitting in his living room with Micheal when the phone rang and he pick it up.
“hello, there is someone who is finding information about her” the person from the other line said.
“then proceed as planned” he said and drop the call.
“why didn’t you tell her” Micheal said to him after he dropped the call.
“tell her what? That her father is not actually her father or that her mother who she thinks is dead is actually alive” Maxwell asked.
“yes, there is proof and evidence to it and also, knowing the kind of man Elliot is, what if he actually plan to harm her or do something even worse” Michael said concerned.
“don’t worry about that and that’s the main reason I let him see her with me so he would know that she is one of my people. Am sure he wouldn't dare to act rashly” Maxwell said with confident. “okay fine, but still I think you should tell her. If not all at least a little. And trust me she wouldn't like it when she discover from some else or misunderstood that you dig in to her background” “you seems really concerned about my girlfriend” Maxwell said changing the topic.
“what do you mean? don’t try to frame me. Am just concerned” Micheal said.
“I think you should be concerned about yourself. How was your last blind date or is your mom still arranging blind dates for you?” Michael hissed before replying him.
“that blind date was more than weeks ago and you are just asking me about it now”
“really? You know you go to a lot of blind dates and am tried of asking you all the time about how you failed at every date. So tell me how was the last one” he said sarcastically.
“I don’t fail at every date I just haven't find the right one” Michael restored.
“oh really, I wonder when you are going to find that so called lucky one”
“very soon, have you forgotten, you also waited for more than four years.”
“you shouldn't compare our relationship together. At least I know who mine is” he said and continue as if he just remembered something.
“that reminds me. Why don’t you try to work things out with Amy. You know each other already and she is very compatible with you and besides I think she likes you” he said and Michael suddenly stood up at the mention of Amy’s name.
“stop it! don’t even go there at all. Its not possible at all between us” he said getting upset and made to leave but Maxwell held him back.
“hey dude, how are you getting all worked up. Its just a simple suggestion” he said and Michael shook him off. He didn’t want to tell about what happened between him and Amy at all or else, he will use it to tease him forever. Maybe Amy did not remember or she is pretending not to but none of them said anything about what happened between them.
“okay fine, lets go together then” he said and pick his phone and other things and they left the house together. They got out and Micheal open the car and got in the driver seat. Maxwell waited for him to drive the car out before he gets in. Just then a girl showed up suddenly at the front of the car and almost got hit by it but Micheal was quick and stopped the car just before it hit her.He quickly open the door and rush to meet help her up. Maxwell also walk over.
“Joyce!” Micheal said surprised when he saw who it was. Joyce who was also scared moved closer to Micheal.
“why are the one driving his car. Where is Max?” she said angry at him. Maxwell who was surprised to see her, tap her and she turn to face him.
“Max!” she exclaimed happily and hugged him tightly. Maxwell allow her to hug him for a while before pulling her away.
“hey, when do you arrive in country?” Maxwell asked.
“just now. I arrived two hours ago and I came to see you immediately” she answered.
“Micheal, hi” she greeted causally. “the way you greeted me one would think you are greeting a stranger. How can you come to a man’s immediately you arrive” Micheal scolded her.
“and the way you are talking one would think you are a great brother” she said and huffed at him.
“Maxwell, how have you been? Am sure you missed me a lot. don’t worry, am back for good this time” she said excitedly and held his arm while ignoring her brother. Maxwell laugh and pat her on the head.
“am kind of busy right now. You should go home and see your parents first and we can have lunch together” he said and remove her hand from his. Then he got in to the car and close it before she could stop him. Micheal also and drove away leaving her there. Joyce was not satisfied with the way Maxwell ran off and stomp her leg on the floor. Instead of going back she decided to try her luck and check if the housekeeper was around and luckily she was. And since she recognized her, she allowed her in to the house. Joyce check around moving from places to places and saw that everything in his house as not really changed at all. She took her bag and headed upstairs. She first went to his room and just like she excepted there is still a lock she or nobody else can open. She leaves from there and notice another room not far from it. According to what she remember, all the other rooms in his house except for his and his study are without bedding. She move towards it and turn the knot and to her surprise it opened. She entered and saw that the room has everything that should have in it. And its look like a room that was set up for a girl. Exactly like her taste
“do he by any chance set this for her” she thought and smiled to herself. She drop her bag and lay down on the bed.
“whoa!I love this room” she screamed happily.

“sir, I found out what you ask me to” Anthony reported to Elliot in his office. Elliot signal to him to continue.
“she is an international student from country x and she is studying for her master’s degree at business school here in the state. Also about her family. She has an aunt back in country x and her cousin is here with her. I also found out that her cousin has been digging information about you and your family. And most importantly, she is president hart assistant secretary. She was promoted just one week after she started interning there” he finished explaining. Elliot nod his head at each of his words.
“is she by any chance involve with Hart in any special way?” he thought.
“okay, keep a close eye on her for now and confirm her real relationship with hart” he told Anthony and dismiss him from his presence.
“if she really has a special relationship with him, then he must not spare her life at all. If she by any chance find out the truth then with Maxwell on her side, he will surely go down" he thought.
“I totally made the mistake of telling Sofia to take care of her back then. I should have known better that she would try to keep her alive.
