Amy and everyone also stood up to leave but as Amy was getting up, she mistakenly used her hand to hit the cup of water on the table and its poured on Charles with little splashing on Evelyn.
“oh no, am so sorry” she apologized and try to dry the water on his clothes.
“its fine, there is no need for that” Charles told her and smiled at her.
“no its not. Lets go, I will help to dry it” she replied and went out with him. Micheal felt anger raising from within him. He did not know the exactly reason but seeing the way she touched Charles makes he angry.
“Sonya, lets go” he said and left without waiting for her. Sonya smiled at Maxwell and wave him bye before leaving. Meanwhile, Evelyn was still sitting down.
“when they were still together, he was never that caring like this. He always correct and blame her on every little mistake. Always taking side with other girls and ignoring her feelings. But he just told someone else now that he is okay and doesn’t mind her mistake. He did not even take a look at her since they arrived there” she thought furiously and stare at the both of them as they leave.
“what are you doing? Lets go” Maxwell said breaking her thoughts.
“there is no need to rush. Lets wait for your secretary and Sonya’s friend” she said still looking at the direction they went.
“why should we do that?” he asked.
“I just think a double date is quite exciting” she answered without moving an inch so Maxwell has to wait with her. Charles and Amy emerge after some minutes and were surprised to see that they haven’t left yet.
“boss, why are you still here?” Amy asked.
“we were waiting for you. What do you think about a double date?” Evelyn answered in a mean tone. Amy did not want to annoy Evelyn especially since she can be equally referred to as her boss.
“sure, no problem” she answered. Charles kept quiet without saying whether he accept or not.
“Mr, you look like you don’t want to” she said pretending not to know his name. Charles look at her without replying. Then he nodded at Amy to let them go. Evelyn was pissed off but hide it. “since he wants to play like this then she is also going to play the same way with him”

[loveth and simon’s date]
Loveth tried again but still not able to get simon’s attention. His mind seems to be so far away from what they are doing.
“Simon, why don’t you lets play some games?” she suggested again to get his attention.
“okay” he simply replied. They went inside a cafe and paid for an hour.
“what game do you like to play?” she asked after sitting down with him. He named a random car racing game and they start playing. They compete together. Simon felt that it has been long since he last played with Sonya like this. Before she came to country X, they always play games like this together. Loveth wanted to act like she is a novice and doesn’t know anything about the games so she played crudely and complained to Simon to help her. Simon was not paying much attention to her, he was engrossed in the game until he saw her car losing. “Sonya, why are you playing like this today? You are too slow” he cautioned her. Loveth stopped playing and turn to him abruptly.
“what did you just call me” she asked and drop the control pad in her hand. Her action made them lost the game.
“what were you thinking? we almost won” he exclaimed sadly and turn to face her. He notice that the expression on her face looks bad and angry.
“is something wrong?” he asked. Loveth wanted to say something but she smiled at him instead and use her hand to brush her hair from her face.
“its nothing. Am just tired and hungry” she answered.
“okay then, lets go eat something” he said and they left the cafe. They went to an Indian restaurant not far from there and entered. They sat down and the waiter came to give them the menu and left.
“why don’t you take the order” Loveth said as she go through the menu. Simon nodded to indicate okay and signal to the waiter and he came over.
“we will have chicken 65 and chicken escalope with fresh salsa” he said.
“loveth, is there anything else you want?” he asked. Loveth sighed and take a look at the menu again.
“I want pina colada pork ribs” she said and the waiter took their order.
“your order will be ready in twenty minutes. But before then, would you like a drink as you wait?” he asked.
“yes please. Get us any suitable wine” loveth answered and the waiter left to get their order. He return in less than one minutes and place the wine in front of them and opened it then he poured some in their glasses then he left.They waited for their food and after sometimes their food was ready and served. Then they start to eat. Loveth ate slowly without interest in the food. Simon was busy with his food not noticing her, after he has almost finished eating, he saw that she barely touched her food.
“why are you not eating? Did you not like it?” he asked. Loveth dropped her cutlery to look at him. She stares at him deeply without blinking her eyes.
“is there something on my face?” he asked feeling awkward with the way she kept staring at him.
“Simon” she called gently.
“yes?” he answered.
“do you remember what I told you about my food preference?” she first asked.
“yeah” Simon shrugged and answered.
“what about the things about myself, like what I like and what I don’t?” she asked again. Simon waited for a minute before answering yes. Loveth smiled sadly immediately he said yes.
“plus today, the number of time we’ve met together alone is about twenty times. Five of which Sonya was with us and the remaining its just me” she begin.
“among those five times she joined us, you never miss any of her words. It always like I was invisible and the remaining fifteen times, I told you I don’t eat Indian foods five times now and you always reply that its skipped your mind. Throughout today It was like am talking to myself but the moment I mentioned doing something Sonya will like you agreed immediately. In all our meeting together, you’ve called me Sonya seven times and correct me to do things like her more than ten times” she said calmly. Simon try to talk but she did not allow him.
“you guys are real cousins right?” she asked. Simon keep quiet for sometime before nodding his head to indicate yes. She smiled at his reply. She took her cup and drunk the whole wine in it. She poured another one and also drank it at a go.
“since I entered the university, I’ve liked two guys but I did not confess to the both of them for a reason” she said and dropped the cup in her hand on the table.
“Simon, I like you” she said. Simon was not surprised at all. Loveth studied his reaction and he did not react in any way that indicate he is a bit happy with what she said. She push her chair backward and stood up. Then he went over to his side and bent down a little, Then kissed him. She place her lips on his for a minute then she stopped.
“give me your reply tomorrow and also lets go back separately” she said again before taking her purse and leave. Loveth decide to take a cab back to the resort. She got off the car and continue to walk there, She try hard not to cry but the tears keep threatening to fall. Even before she told him she likes him, she feels like she already know what his answer will be. She wipe the tears that fall from her face. She keep walking and soon got there, she quickly went to her room to avoid others seeing her. Simon sat on the same spot for a while before paying the bills and leaving. He felt bad about Loveth even though he knew that she likes him, he did not feel anything for her and yet he keep leading her on just to find an excuse to go to Sonya’s apartment and be with her. He tried calling Sonya’s number but it was unreachable. He suspect that there is something wrong about it. Sonya always make sure she charges her phone and its rare for her phone to be out of battery. He checked her number on his phone and found that he blocked her. He was surprised and unblock her number.
“is not possible for him to have mistakenly blocked her number on his phone” he thought.
“then there is a possibility that his own number is also blocked on her phone” he thought again and wanted to call Charles but decide against it and went back to wait for her to also get back.

[Evelyn and Maxwell/Charles and Amy’s date]
The four of them decide to go shopping for some few things. Evelyn picked a lot of things and they also went sightseeing. Maxwell keep pressing his phone while Evelyn was busy evaluating Charles and Amy. They had fun together for a long while before they went to eat dinner at a low restaurant recommended by Charles. On their way there, Maxwell text Sonya their location and told her to come join them with Micheal. Sonya text back that they were also near them and came over They took an empty table and called over the waiter to order what they want to eat and waited for their order to be served. While they were waiting, Sonya and Micheal joined them. Micheal sat down on the other side of Amy while Sonya went to sit with Maxwell.
“how come the four of you were together?” Micheal asked.
“we came out together” Amy answered him. Then Evelyn continued.
“Micheal how was your date with your boss’s girlfriend?” she asked jokingly.
“don’t even go there at all. It was just like we were on a walk. Your dear brother message came in every minute and Sonya keep smiling at her phone. Lets just say they were having an online date and am just a look-by” he answered. Everyone laugh at his word except Maxwell. Evelyn look at Amy and stare at her.
“you are my brother secretary right? She asked.
“yes” she answered.
“I didn’t get your name” she said again.
“Amy” she replied. Evelyn chuckled at her word.
“you are Amy?” she asked again.
“this doesn’t look like the Amy she saw before” she thought. “how long have you known him?” she asked referring to Charles.
“a long time now” she answered.
“so its that same Amy” she thought again.
“you must really like her, seeing as you were taking care of her so closely” she said facing Charles. Charles look at her not saying again.
