I was in the living room after what happened. I was just looking virtually at our wedding stage. Everything looked fine. This 3D model is helpful to me. It is live and I can see everything by myself. This is called time-saving.
I received a notification from one of my people.
“Sir, Ms. Ashley tried to contact Lara Jones via Instagram 52 seconds ago. We are sorry for the late information, but we needed to confirm it”
“Are you sure now?”
“Yes, boss”
“Alright”
“Sir, do we need to lock off her phone or something…”
“No. Um, I’ll do the rest. You may continue other stuff”
“Alright boss”
I kept down my phone. Why Ashley? I told you that I am only good to people who are good to me. I told you, you need to follow my rules. I told you everything and I told you that you can’t contact Lara no matter what happens. And you did.
I have many ways to punish you, but… I don’t know what I should do.
I thought for some time and finally decided to let her know that she is caught, and well, is in possible trouble. Today is our wedding and she literally… huh.
I messaged her. “Your first mistake”
She saw it and then didn’t reply. She might have been shocked... and maybe scared. I decided to confront her.
I went upstairs and knocked on her door. I don’t usually knock, so she should open it.
She didn’t open and I knocked again.
This time I went straight in and she was on the bed. She was clutching the bedsheets to herself and was dead scared.
“I-I...” she whispered.
I was going to punish her, but looking at the way she is already afraid, I decided to let her go this time.
I went to her and she was hyperventilating. “I... I am really...”
“Shh. Calm down” I shushed her. “It’s fine”
She looked scared and I saw two tears dropping down her eyes.
“Ashy...” I whispered as my heart broke seeing her tears. “Don’t cry...”
“I am sorry...”
“It’s okay, I told you...”
She cried and cried. Why was she still crying? Why was she still so afraid? What the hell happened now?
“What happened?” I asked her.
She sobbed and looked at me. She looked into my eyes. “I hate you”
My heart stilled the moment I heard those words. They cut straight to my heart and soul. All the past memories played like a kaleidoscope and it broke the inside of me. Those words from someone I love, once again, flared the anger in me along with the loneliness that was quietly shifting away. I didn’t do anything wrong to her, or with her. She was the only one I cared about.

“I’ll show you hate then,” I said and looked at her once again. This time, those tears didn’t pain my heart as much.
She broke me just when I was about to be healed.
She started crying more and she denied it by nodding her head from left to right.
“Well...” I said. “Today’s our wedding, so, I’ll hate you from tomorrow”
She cried and I left the room. What is wrong with her? Did I say anything to her or do anything wrong? Why the hell does she hate me for no reason?
I calmed my raging nerves by taking deep breaths. Today’s your wedding, Vincent, calm down.
I went to the basement.
“You’ll look after everything. I am in my room” I ordered everyone and went to my room.
I sat down. This room was completely black. I love the black color. Everything that is black, is true. I find peace here when everything else and everyone else is falling down.
I sighed and saw the time. It was 3:40 PM. The wedding starts at 6. Well, well. Anyway, I am here and am completely okay till this darkness surrounds me.

“Yeah,” I said to mom. She smiled.
“So... you are reaching your age of marriage, Chris. Have you given any thoughts?”
I sighed. My love life is a wreck right now.
“Mom, I am not ready for marriage anytime soon...”
“Take your time and tell me if you have any ideas”
I nodded.
“Okay. Now I gotta go” she got up. “Bye Christopher”
“Bye mom”
She left and I stood in my office thinking how fucked up my life is right now. I have Heather, but...
I love her but still, I am not sure of her love. What if she leaves me too? Then what will I do, who will I turn to? No one?
Because after what Ashley did to me... oh god... I can’t think of anything else. I can’t think of what I will do if she ever leaves me.
I took out my phone and called her.
“Hello Heath”
“Hey, Chris” I could hear the seduction right through her voice.
“God, now you are turning me on even by your voice...”
“Haha, Chris. Shall I come over tonight?”
I thought for a second. And that second was enough. “Of course”
“Wait for me then...”
“Yeah”
“Mhm. By the way, what did you call me?”
“I wanted to hear your voice”
“Aishh you are so romantic. Well, show your romance tonight. I have work”
“Look at me, I always have time for you and I also own a company”

I am ready to move on from you Ashley because I know that you will be happier the more I hurt myself like this. I know what I should do now because I know you are just a whore. Surely you must be enjoying yourself with someone and so will I. I love Heather and I have always loved her. I will move on Ashley and forget that you even ever existed in my life.
