Aria
I woke up and it was still 4 am even I am tired. I won't go back to sleep. I know when I sleep again Lucas will not be on the bed when I woke up.
I want to take care of Lucas. I want to prove that not all girls are the same. I want to show him how a wife can take care of her family and mostly I will try to take away his pain.
I told him that I would help him to reduce the pain he is suffering even though he spat hurtful words at me. I needed to be strong.
I brushed his hair from his face. I decided to get up to change my clothes.
I put my hair into a bun and brushed my teeth.
Changing Luke's diaper in his sleeping state.
I decided to go down to the kitchen. I opened the freezer, getting some ice.
I put the ice on my upper chest. I am thankful it didn't bruise but there was still a slight pain.
"You are awake so early," Ana said from my back, making me jump.
"You startled me," I said my hand was above my chest.
She laughed at me
"I didn't mean to. Good Morning." I smiled at her.
"Good Morning also. "
"You ok? I mean that." She asked, pointing to the ice on my chest.
"Yes, it hurts a little bit." She nodded.
“Did he hurt you? I mean…uhmm… he never hurt a girl physically.” She asked me confusingly with a bit of explaining.
“ I don’t know maybe he just accidentally pushed me.” I shrugged, shaking my head.
I walked over to the fridge and checked the groceries.
"Are you hungry? You want me to cook for you?" I heard her.
I shook my head no.
"I am going to prepare Lucas a breakfast."
"Are you sure? He doesn't eat here as you can see." She said sadly.
"I know, It's not bad to try. Right?" I replied picking up eggs, bacon, and avocado.
"Positive, I'll help you with that." I started to fry the eggs and bacon.
"Ana, can you please put some butter and toast the bread?"
"Sure thing."
After preparing Lucas breakfast. It was already 5 am
"I'll just check them in the bedroom." Ana nodded. I grabbed a glass of warm water.
I entered our room and saw Luke was still asleep while Lucas was sitting on the bed.
"Good Morning," I said, walking over to the bathroom and grabbed some medicine.
I walked over to him.
"Here drink this, to release your headache." I handed him the medicine.
"Are you going to work?" I asked softly.
"Yes." He whispered.
"Go take a shower and I'll wait for you."
"W..."
Before he could say anything to cause an argument. I cut him off.
"Don't argue right now. If you want, we can go outside and start yelling at each other." I said harshly, putting my hand on my hips.
"Don't tell me what to do." I ignored him.
"I will because I am your wife." I retorted.
"In papers only." He spat but I didn't try to defend because he is right.
I walked into the walk-in closet. I chose his suit and tie. He has a lot of suits but I chose a navy blue one.
I told Ana by intercom to prepare coffee for Lucas. After minutes he got out of the bathroom.
"No need to go there. I chose your suit." He raised an eyebrow at me.
I just looked at him blankly.
He didn't have a choice just to wear it.
He was already in his boxers, making me but my bottom lips.
I watched him put on his pants. He really looks sexy.
Tell me I didn't think that. I mentally slap myself.
I stood up.
"Let me take care of you."
"You don't have to. I can take care of myself." He growls. I try not to be affected by him.
I picked up his long-sleeve and helped him put on. He was towering over me the whole time.
I buttoned the buttons. He really smells good; his smells making my mind go crazy.
I got his coat and put it on him.
I looked into his eyes; his blue orbs are looking at me softly, making my legs turned into jelly. I stuck my legs beside the bed for support.
Lastly, the tie, I tiptoed so I can reach his neck and circled the tie around him.
"Did it hurt?" He whispered. I could smell his minty breath making me feel dizzy.
I do feel unwanted.
I looked at him.
"This." He said, touching my upper chest, sending chills down to my spine again and again.
"A little. I already put the ice. Don't worry if you are worrying." I said harshly the last part.
He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as I tied the tie already.
"Luke is asleep. I have prepared your breakfast.“ He looked at me shocked as if he can't believe what I am doing.
"Give Luke your goodbye kiss first before you go down," I ordered him. He didn't think twice anymore and walked over to Luke to kiss his temple, cheeks, and lastly his lips.
"Daddy loves you a lot." He said and a smile formed on my lips hearing him that he loves his son a lot.
We walked down to the dining and the table was prepared. Ana gave me a thumbs up.
"Who prepared this?" He asked taking a slice of egg.
"I did"
"It's good.” I smiled at him. At least he appreciates what I did.
"Do you eat lunch and dinner at work?" I asked hoping he would answer me.
Patience Aria… Patience…
"Sometimes" I nodded. It means he doesn’t eat too much but I am going to change that.
He ate all the food I prepared. He ordered Ana to get his suitcase and car key.
I took a deep breath, gathering myself to ask him.
"Why do you always leave early in the morning?" I asked. This is the time for me to communicate with him.
"I won't see you." He said evidently. I could see that he was annoyed because I am asking a lot of questions.
"Thank you but now you are going to see me often." My challenging voice spoke, faking a smile at him but I earned a huffed.
"I am going." He said coldly. He stood up and grabbed his suitcase that Ana brought.
I walked over to the door following him.
Before he could open the door

"Wait." I stopped him and he turned to look at me still annoyed. I wanted to laugh.
I walked over to him and hugged him. I felt him tensed but calm down after seconds.
"Have a nice day. " I murmured and pulled out. I straightened his tie and suit.
"Ok," he said boringly.
He opened the door. I shouted. "I'll wait for you for dinner!" He didn't reply anything and walked out at me.
"I just hope," I muttered under my breath.
