Aria
The ride in the car was silent and one tries to break it. Luke was on my lap. I can't believe this baby likes me so much even we met in a short amount of time. He even called me his mommy.
I don't know exactly what I feel. It was like mixed emotion.
I am already married. Exchanged for my father’s debt.
I wore a simple dress that Leticia gave me earlier. The marriage was simple and quiet. Lucas didn't look or say anything to me at the wedding.
Leticia reminds me of everything; I needed to know before we separate ways earlier.
I know this is going to be hard for me. I need to adjust in the meantime. I can’t believe in just one swift. I already have a husband a son. It was like a package.
I can't deny it by meeting him yesterday. He really looks handsome. Blue orbs like Luke. Black and brown hair, perfect muscular body, and jawline. He is really good looking.
Yesterday, I packed my things and resigned at the cafe. The manager told me if I needed a job. I can go back and I thanked him for accepting me. I also inform Brent, he got sad after but I told him that we could meet if I am free.
I already paid the debt of my dad with Leticia's money. The middle-aged man and I met at the cafe shop. He didn't say anything at all and signed that I am fully paid in case if he is planning something.
Interrupting my thoughts. The driver said that we are here. I looked at the mansion. It is big like Leticia's house.
We got out and the driver helped me to get out because Luke was in my arms already sleeping peacefully. He got tired at the wedding probably.
The driver got the luggage that I brought. Lucas told him to bring it inside.
"Let's go." He said shortly and I followed him quietly.
We entered the most Luxurious mansion. I have ever seen in my whole life.
"Ana, give Aria a tour in the house first thing tomorrow. She is my wife as you all know." He said harshly to the girl wearing a uniform and emphasizing with anger the word 'wife'.
She nodded and smiled at me slightly.
He started walking away but I walked fastly after him.
"U...Uhm... Where is my room?" I asked softly. He stared at me blankly but I can see that small smirk on his face.
"My room, Tom bring her things in my room." He said and walked away before I could protest.
Tom said to follow him but I told Rosaline first to bring Luke's Milk to Lucas's room. Not that I was being bossy but I was holding Luke.
I followed Tom upstairs and gave him a slight smile before he left at the door, leaving my luggage.
Entering the room. I saw the Black, grey, and white theme of Lucas's room. It is really big. Master bedroom for sure. I saw a door to the left meaning it's the closet and the right is to the bathroom.
I can't believe I am gonna live here in this kind of luxury room.
Lucas was nowhere to be found here. I laid Luke on the king-sized bed. There are a lot of pillows here and a very soft bed.
I heard a soft knocked and Rosaline got in.
"This is Luke's milk, madam." She said softly, giving me Luke's bottle but making me cringe, why madam? I am just like a nanny here.
I nodded and took it, putting it on the nightstand.
"Aria is fine, Rosaline," I informed her politely and she smiled at me.
"Aria it is. "
"Rosaline can you tell me about the doings, vitamins, or any Luke's needs, " I told her warily.
"Sure, I am just going to prepare dinner. I can assure you, we can talk tomorrow about it. The dinner is ordered by Mr. Lucas we don't want any mess. For now Luke always sleeps at the side with pillows. He can feel if he is in the middle, he can't sleep." She explained.
"Thank you for that, Why are you preparing dinner? You are Luke's nanny right?" I asked, by looking in this house, you can determine that maids and nanny have their own chores.
“It's Ana but if I don't have anything to do, I help her instead. We are besties so no problem at all." She explained with a big smile plastered on her face.
I nodded and she left the room. I remember her saying that Luke needs to sleep at the end of the pillow---- meaning I will be sleeping at any side with Lucas.
I mentally slap myself for that.
I got my suitcase and started organizing my things. I saw the closet with no clothes. It means they are mine. I saw clothes on the floor, for sure it was Lucas's clothes, coat, and ties were scattered on the floor. I picked it up and put it in the laundry basket.
I took a shower and changed into sleeping clothes.
I heard Luke's cries and I hurriedly got out of the closet. I walked to the bed, I gave him his milk and he quickly stopped crying. He started sucking his milk with his eyes close.
I touched his fluffy cheeks. Smile formed on my lips just by looking at him. He is cute and handsome like her father.
I laid down beside him. He was already sleeping soundly.
After half hour passed by, I jolted when I heard a sound. I tried to find it and found out it's an intercom near the bed.
"Aria, dinner is ready. Would you like me to bring it there?" I heard Rosaline's voice.
I can't go down because Luke was here sleeping. I can't leave him.
I pressed the intercom.
"Yes, please and thank you, Rosaline," I said politely.
Rosaline brought the food upstairs and I ate it.
I was waiting for Lucas here in the bedroom. I needed to know where he wanted to sleep in the middle or to the side.
It was already late when I heard the door opened and our eyes met. I shivered, chills running down to my spine.
I was affected just by looking? Oh! Come on.
He was staring at me blankly like I am his enemy.
"Where do you prefer to sleep?" I asked softly, avoiding his gaze. I have no reason to protest because I was the one who ask.
"Right side." He said shortly and headed to the bathroom.
I lay down in the middle and Luke automatically cuddled into my chest. I soothed his back for him to fall asleep again. I didn't want him to wake up in the middle of the night.
I closed my eyes while soothing Luke's arms.
I can't believe my decision turned into something big. I know there is a storm coming after silence but am I ready for it?
I got all.
I heard the walk-in closet door opened.
I feel Lucas lay down beside me. I didn't bother to open my eyes.
Tomorrow is officially new to me. New life.
