"I want you Nuella in exchange for your son's life" Aiden said on the phone.
"Alright.. Alright Aiden.. But please don't just hurt my son" I told him and he gave the phone to Jr Ethan.
"Mom!" I heard him cry out, my heart melted, I screamed inside my throat, my heart formed a voiceless shout, my eyes shut, I cried.
"Ethan baby... Are you okay!..Mummy is coming to get you OK.. " I told him but before he could answer, Aiden snatched the phone from his ears and told me where I could meet him and I shouldn't act funny by involving the police,I agreed not to do anything he wouldn't like.
He hung up the call, I couldn't help myself from breaking down, I cried my heart as Maryam comforted me,I could see Ethan tight his fist and talking to Mark in a very sober tone, he didn't dare to look at my face as I cried.
"What are we going to do now Ethan?" I asked him as I stood up from the bed and walked to him.
"He has my son!.. Aiden got my son.." I cried out.
"We are going to get Jr Ethan back no matter the cost " he assured me and I nodded before he took me in his arms, I kept sobbing calmly until all I did was make hiccups.
"You need to stay strong for me Nuella.. Please stay strong for us" he told me and I nod taking a deep breath to calm myself down.
Ethan sat all of us down after he made few calls and we all made a plan on how to get our son back to us, he made suggestions and we all had something to contribute, this was going to be a very long day, I pity Ethan, he was yet to recover from all the pain he had gone through all this while and now this, I wonder how he stay this strong.
Aiden has no idea Ethan was alive and that was the best part of our plan.
Few moments after our discussion, I dressed up and was ready to go meet five myself in exchange for my son's life. I called Aiden a few times to ask him where he wanted us to meet up, he told me and like a flash I was there in no minute.
"Hope you know what will happen if you dare to get the police involved with this?" he asked me as I walked into the creepy looking old building.
"I wouldn't dare do that" I told him as I walked slowly to where the voice was coming from.
"Good... Just keep coming my darling" he ordered and I obeyed, I kept walking to the direction of the voice until I began to see a flash light in a particular room of the building.
I opened the door and there he was, my little boy all tied up in a strong rope, he looked like he has been crying all this while, I hurried ran to meet him,i kneeled beside him and hurriedly undo the tide rope and remove the clothing tide in his face around his mouth .
"Mummy!.." he cried out and he hugged me in pure fear. "My baby.." I embraced him in a tighter hug.
"Are you OK baby? Did he hurt you? Are you fine?" I asked him sobbing as I searched his body to find any scar, I touched his face and examined him carefully.
"I want to go home mum" his tiny voice said and I nodded in agreement to what he just said. "Yes baby mummy is going to take you home baby" I said as I picked him up and stood up. "Going somewhere?" Aiden's troubled voice asked, and I froze.
" Going somewhere without me?" he said and began to walk closer to us. I quickly dropped Ethan on the floor and hid him behind me.
"Aiden please.. Please let us go" I trembled.
"Let you go?!.. Why Nuella?.. You just want to leave me?.. After everything I've done" Aiden said and walked even closer to me, his breath on my face.
"You lied to me!" I told him.
"Yes I did.. I did it for you.. I did it for us.. To protect you!" He told me like he had rehearsed what he wanted me to hear.
"Protect me? From what exactly Aiden? From who Huh?.. " I asked him walking slowly away from him, Ethan shaking with fear behind me.
"From him! I had to take you away from him.. And I'll never let him have you again"he told me and walked more closer to me
"I love you, don't you get it?" he said.
"Well am sorry Aiden.. I do not feel that way about you" I told him honestly.
"Well that's too bad.. Because you have to come with me!" he said and grabbed me by the waist, his face came closer to me, I could Ethan crying behind me, Aiden locked my neck like a puppy and I could feel my soul burn.
"You were supposed to love me!" he said and snatched Ethan away from me and pointed a gun to his head, my heart raced, my legs became heavy, my head felt like a thunderstorm, I started to sweat.
"Please Aiden don't hurt him.. I beg you" I begged him.
"Hahahahaha.. You know.. I remember wasting a bullet on Ethan and here again I have another Ethan in my hands again.. It's this just great!" he said and I watched Ethan struggle with the arms around his neck.
"Aiden I beg of you.. Please take me instead, it's me you want.. Nobody has to get hurt" I cried as I went on my knees.
"I gave you everything! What else did you want!" he roared, piercing the gun in Ethan's head more fierce.
"Put the gun down Aiden please, you can have me!" I pleaded.
"Mummy!" Ethan shouted and was cut short when Aiden threw him to the floor and his head hit the cold tiles in the floor, I froze, my eyes wide open, I rushed to his lifeless body on the floor.
"No!" I screamed out my lung when I found out he wasn't breathing.
I was trying to check if he still had a pulse but Aiden pulled my head and dragged me away from his body, I tried to struggle back to my baby boy lying on the cold tiles, I didn't mind the pain in my head all I wanted to do was to have Ethan in my hands.
I kept struggling but Ethan wouldn't just let me go.
