Cally was seated in the science lab, twirling her pencil absentmindedly."Is everything alright?" Ryan touched her shoulders, to which she sighed.
"I and Alaina haven't seen each other since the incident."
"Have you tried apologizing then, it was your own nonchalance that harmed her, the least you can do is accept your mistakes and move on." A sweet smile bloomed onto that face with some degree of frustration.
"So you will side with her too? Is that why you are here with me...to make me realize my mistakes or is it because you want to use me in the path of proving your devotion towards her?"
"My devotion? She is a friend, who I feel has suffered alot these days, a normal human being would call it humanity Calliope." A mocking smirk covered his face and those azure irises burned furiously.
"You do not show similar humanity to others Ryan, is it that you have some sort of feelings for the Storm princess? Let me tell you, you would not be the first neither the last to run after her, yet she will never settle down till all the empire falls into her hands. Alaina Storm has always known what was it to conquer."
"Then what do you suggest that I do? Should I start paying attention to you...like you and not anyone else." The serene expression made Calliope fall into a daze before she was raised from her stupor with his next words.
"Alaina asked me who was her savior and when I replied that it was indeed me, she seemed to be emotionally attached. There is alot of good emotions between us Calliope, yet no spark..." Warm palms cupped the heart shaped face making the woman's breath hitch.
"You wish to snatch me from Alaina but what if I never belonged to her in the first place?"
It was all that Cally wished to hear, every word bringing immense satisfaction. Slowly she raised her head attaching her soft lips to that of the man but when she placed her hands on his shoulders to pull him closer, she was pushed away instead.
Cally enraged with such a reaction turned her head to see where Ryan's blue irises were situated, only to find them fixed with the honey brown ones.

The high, royal building of Axiom Academy standing proud with it's sleek grey and while walls intimidated the people stepping there, it was a symbol of honour and pride.
It was early morning and the students haven't started filling yet, some were there, some were yet to arrive.
Crack ....
Somebody shoved a boy off towards the lockers, making his spectacles fall.
"Hey! walk properly" the offender instead of apologising mocked the boy which made his fists clench with rage.
His demons were taking control. Disrespect was something he never tolerated, he was born to rule, born to avenge and to be the ultimate King- Ajax Ace Waylon.
Mafia men were dangerous ,they killed ,tortured and inflicted many wounds on people both physical and mental but Ajax Waylon was something more. He was an enigma. He didn't kill, hunting was what he did.
His eyes turned onyx to the depths where they could have been considered thundering black. Soon, soon his thirst of vengeance will be quenched .He picked up the spectacles and a dark smirk made its way to his lips.
"Ace.....is everything fine?" those words would have been worthless if any other person would have spoken them but their current speaker was a perplexion to him ,the one he wanted to unveil layer by layer.
Alaina's pov
"Alaina" his acknowledgement was nothing like before, his voice husky full of masculine, raw power like a beast caged within.
"I am good."In moments like these I felt something was out of place, something I couldn't get a hold on. He wore his half broken glasses again.
"What are you doing? " I cannot help but ask "Ace you shouldn't wear it, you will get hurt". I was worried.
"These glasses are foggy already, why don't you buy a new pair? I will come with you" I suggested.
"Sua preocupação comigo evoca algo princesa ...... algo muito perigoso"
(Your worry about me evokes something princess...... something very dangerous)
Something stirred inside the pit of my stomach, his voice was pure sin dipped in seduction and I couldn't understand a word that came out of his mouth but the way he said it made my thighs clench.
"I am fine tesouros"
(Treasure)
I came here to ask if Ryan was really the one who saved me that night.
Because neither did I saw the turquoise ones I was searching for nor I felt an tinge of jealousy when Cally kissed Ryan.
I wished to find that person who was there with me, if he had the courage to turn Valace's place upside down, it would not hurt to make an ally.
"I will be totally fine, don't worry, have you seen Ryan?" he asked with his head tilted to the side and it woke me up from my chain of thoughts.
"Yeah, probably making out with Cally." Her name left a sour taste in my mouth.
"Do you have feelings for him?" He asked with with his voice devoid of any emotion.
"Ace, it makes me feel unfathomable that a man would rush to protect me in the middle of nowhere, if Ryan saved me....he must have had the power to do so. That person is someone I have no trust in thus making me frustrated. What about have feelings for such one..." Moreover I was sure that Ryan lied to me, I could feel there was something amiss.
"It angers you that someone saved you from catastrophe?"
"It angers me that someone has ulterior motives." The steps stooped suddenly with a strong arm holding me in place gently.
"The person may have interrupted what you wished to do but maybe he did not have any ulterior motives....maybe Alaina he could not simply stay behind and watch you put you life in danger. Maybe that person dares not hurt you...."
"Was it you Ace.....it cant be you, can it? " I asked.
"Can I, Alaina?"
Green eyes, those deep forest orbs full of mystery seem to change their colour to oceanic turquoise when meeting mine, in those worked up dreams I saw.
They were a remembrance of the breeze that blows along the shores of the almighty oceans, engulfing my soul but as they darken it remind me of Russian tundra- all crystal harsh, freezing the living essence. The possessor of those was an enigma to me.
That smell made me take deep breaths, basking in it's essence- home, it smelt like home.
So are you him? Are you the one I am searching for Ace...

Standing behind the lockers Ryan the head bodyguard of Ajax was seeing the scene unfold in front of him.
The first time he saw Alaina, stepping down those stairs he didn't saw what others did, he saw the thrill of emotions in Ajax's eye -he was fascinated with her.
"It could have been hatred but you don't look at the one you hate, like that."
"Like what?" His deep voice asked.
"Like you are a sinner and she is your salvation." Ryan replied.
So when they all saw a beautiful angel desending straight from heaven, he watched the fiery queen she would be, his eyes were scrutenizing the way Ajax saw her- like she was precious.
