Surprisingly, last month turned out to be pretty smooth for me, I had grown close to the boys. Tyler seemed to accompany me most of the time. It had become a fashion for all of us to do homework at home together.
But I was not calm, placidity seem to have left my heart. I felt an inconsolable paranoia, an intuition so strong that my actions were not only watched but were also observed wherever I left home.
Terrified was not even the right word to be associated with me, I felt something bad was going to happen, I avoided going out at all costs and often found myself surrounded by crowds where I felt safer.
Right now I was sitting on my bed with Tyler sprawled on the couch, solving algebra while Ace was typing onto his laptop furiously. Ryan was sitting right beside him doing mainly nothing, just watching the ceiling.
Truth to be told I felt happy but the feeling was eating me alive since my father had called me last week. He wanted to talk to me but I refused and as much as I know him , my father- Valace Strom never accepted no for an answer. He was coming to Russia today.
Alaina was pretty much in her own world nowadays and I didn't bothered myself about it, she though had a good heart, could be a ungrateful person sometimes, she didn't realised that she was lucky to have everything.
She never needed to beg for anything and sometimes her morals sucked because she never knew what pain is, what I had gone through, she... she would never survive it ,to have your parents around you was a privilege which she had her whole life , actually she was privileged for everything.
"Where is Alaina? she does not hangs out with us nowadays." Ace voice woke me up from my chain of thoughts.
"She must be getting wasted at some party, it isn't new of her to mop around for nothing."
"It's midnight Cally, geez do you even have an idea where she could be, if she gets drunk do you realise she could be in a danger?" Ryan asked with a little anger.
Why did he always look out for her like she was his responsibility?
"Her guards must be with her" I spoke to him mockingly.
"Ok, tell me her parents would give her permission to visit late night clubs ,right,so it isn't like she sneaked or anything?" Ace's venom-filled voice reached me and to be honest, his voice sounded of rage and I fought the urge to cower under his ferociously gaze.
" We must search for her" Tyler announced and Ryan without a second glance at me went outside.
"Calliope Storm, you are truly your father's daughter and this, I must remember." When Ace smiled at me at last, it felt like the world was collapsing.

Alaina's Pov
Valace Storm would be arriving today in Russia but my work wasn't yet done. His people were all around no matter where one hides, he had the ability to find them out.
To lure all those spies I had adopted all sorts of tricks, trying to disintegrate their harmony yet now I had no choice but to present myself as bait. Visiting nightclubs for past few weeks proved to be more fruitful than my measured steps ever would.
The moment I stepped out of my home, a troop of hired assassins were assigned to follow me for my own safety. Surveillance was stepped up in home and outside as well to see who were the people that were keeping tabs on me, the storm princess without any fear of getting caught.
Fifteen guards along with six maids were executed when they were found to be guilty by the illegal assassins, three were sent to prison for committing theft and others were removed from their posts by Valace Storm who found something suspicious in the way things were going.
This was proven to be a win-win situation, there was a lot of paranoia surrounding the things that can transpire regarding the threat to my life but then the opportunity to eradicate the heinous dealings was heightened too.
I picked myself up and went to the dance floor, bodies grinding with the smell of drugs filling up the club. There was an intel that the underdog, who controlled the Russian drug lord's working was here and he had deep connections with the human trafficking ring.
Two hands rested on my hips trailing they way down. I jerked my body out of the hold looking behind to see several of the shady men were on the trails of innumerable women.

"Is it enjoyable?"
"Hardly" The assassin watching me from the second storey got activated.
"Don't worry we will have more fun together." his grinned at me showing his pointed teeth to which I reconciled.
Absolutely disgusting
He offered me a drink to which I smiled and drank it in a go.
Go on, take me with you. The cops are not far behind.
Not only I will cut off a wing of Valace Storm but also would strike where it hurts the most.
It was all going perfect but before I could fully comprehend what was happening his body was thrown off me and my front was pushed in someone's rock-hard body.
"Crazy woman"
I met two forest green orbs which were darkened to black, I couldn't make out much but I was sure I saw unfathomable madness in them.
As I stumbled he caught me in his arms ,his hands gripping my waist and back with his palms, picking me up in bridal style where I embraced the darkness as police sirens rang in the background
"Seize the man" was the last words entering my brain.
