"What, such a big fatal accident, and none of you told us anything, Stefan. Ronald, how could hide such a gargantuan thing from, do you both still think I am the elder of the family."
Andrew yells in anger. He couldn't believe the children of his clan were in danger, and he was oblivious to everything. He felt like he couldn't able to protect his clan well.
"Elder brother, calm down, even they were in a panic situation, didn't realize to inform you," Daniel meddles to stop Andrew and didn't let matter flow in another direction.
"I know that but why they didn't inform me later, why they came home like nothing has happened and pretend so happy?" Andrew didn't let go of this matter.
"I wanted to but Stefan and Sarah asked me not to reveal anything to anybody for the time being."
Ronald immediately turned the table towards Stefan Sarah.
Andrew will definitely not blame Sarah but he will not let go of Stefan until he will get any satisfactory answer.
Andrew then turned towards Stefan, but Stefan didn't let him say anything.
"Big uncle, don't need to upset. In fact, we were in much more chaos at that time when we were attacked."
Stefan was silent for long and let Ronald and Sarah vent their anger, but now it's a matter to reveal the truth to everybody, he needs to be relaxed and initiative.
"The goon who was arrested by police revealed Stella's name."
"What, what nonsense is this?"
Everybody was shocked.
Jack immediately circled his arms around Stella's shoulder and asked rudely.
"So, it's turned out that Stella is a culprit and you all are accusing me of no reason." Ashley defends herself. She didn't ask goons to reveal Stella's name as a contractor for no reason. Now, this can only be helpful for her to escape.
"Shut up Ashley, stop lying and accusing others of your sins." Sarah couldn't control her anger more and burst out again.
"Why would I? you are trying to trap me in a false accusation and not even let me defend myself. Stella was the criminal and you and Ronald are blaming me." Ashley said in a hoarse voice and cried again.
"Do you think everybody is idiot over here or deaf that they didn't listen just now Ronald said that he heard your entire conversation with your grandmother," Sarah retorts.
"Ronald is your ex; he will only say what you want him to say."
Sarah's face darkened when Ashley spoke such a disgusting thing about her, but before she could retort Stefan held her in his arms and said in rage, "Alright then I will prove who is right and who is wrong."
"Officer......."
Listening to Stefan's yell, Stefan's security guard escorted a police officer.
"Could you tell us, what did you find in your investigation?" Stefan's overbearing voice stunned everybody. He had enough of this dirty game of Ashley, and now she has crossed all her limits.
"Although the goon said that they were contracted by Mrs. Stella Walter but we found that they have constant in touch with Mrs. Ashley Walter and the amount has been transferred into their account is registered on Ashley Miller's account."
"Now do you have anything more to say, like I am innocent, we are falsely accusing you, I and Ronald has an ambiguous relationship, blah, blah, blah."
Sarah has lost all control of her anger. She jerked Stefan's hand on her shoulder and came forward and slapped Ashley.
"I let you go before. I thought you will be changed after getting Ronald, but you didn't change now you dare to harm my Stefan, my unborn baby."
Sarah slapped Ashley again, then, again and again, multiple times and at the last, she started breathing heavily.
Laura and Stefan held Sarah from either side and didn't let her continue the reckless act.
"Sarah, relax. You should not get hyper. Don't neglect doctor's advice." Stefan said calmly and made Sarah sit on the chair nearby.
"But Stefan......" Sarah couldn't continue her words, and her head started reeling.
"Shh, Sarah, relax, forget everything, and only think about your baby," Laura said and pressed Sarah's shoulder.
Laura then walked towards Ashley and slapped her, then held her shoulder tightly and shook her while yelling, "Why are you after my Sarah, what wrong she did to you? I am ashamed of myself that I consider you my daughter once. I asked Sarah to forgive you but you haven't changed."
Marie tried to interrupt between them but Laura showed her hand. "You don't have to interfere in everything. She is like this because of you, it's your upbringing that spoiled her, mold her into a cunning vixen. Why did you support her in her wrong deeds? Today also why didn't you either stop her or inform any of us?" Laura said with venom she has already experienced Maire's cunning nature when she was in Miller's house.
"I don't know about the past but today if Ronald wouldn't reach on time to rescue Stefan and Sarah then we would not only lose these two but their unborn baby as well," Amy said in a hoarse voice.
Her words tremble the entire family especially Amy, she couldn't believe her son, daughter-in-law, and even grandson were in grave danger because of Ashely.
She wanted to pounce on Ashley and cut her into several pieces, but suddenly she felt powerless with the heart-wrenching thought of losing her family.
"Elder sister, I can't even imagine if something would have happened to my family. I would have died with them."
Amy's voice choked in her throat, and she started crying vigorously. Julia hugged Amy to console her and rubbed her back.
"Amy, please don't cry. Nothing has happened to our kids and nothing will happen in the future. The culprit will get their punishment. Officer, if you have enough evidence please arrest the criminal."
Laura consoled Amy first, but then looked at Ashley, and murderous looked appeared on her face, but she suppressed her thoughts and directly approached to police.
"I am sorry Laura, from Ashley and mom's side." Sebastian was scared that Ashley and Marie would be arrested by police, even though they are responsible, he couldn't bear them to get arrested. If nobody but he can at least beg in front of Laura for mercy.
Laura heard Sebastian's apology and she suppresses anger towards him burst out.
"Your sorry will not change anything; your apology could not change wrong into right. Would your embarrassment can change the past?"
Laura's words stunned Sebastian. He wanted to retort to calm her down, but Laura didn't let him speak and continued. Today she is not in the mood to let Sebastian go without showing him the real mirror of his spineless image.
