The next day Ashley again tried to impress everybody from the beginning. She once again has done most of the house chores of the morning.
Then apologize to Julia again, despite the negative response she didn't get disheartened and continued her innocent act and good attitude.
This time all this was not to please any of them, in fact, to fool them that she is repenting and a good nice girl. She originally has an intention to harm Sarah, and this is for backup security.
"Mom, please I am sorry, I will never repeat such a mistake in the future." Ashley once again apologized to Julia.
"Ashley, how many more times will you apologize? Don't take apology as a granted for repeating the mistake."
"I have really realized my mistake I will not repeat it in the future."
Ashley was apologizing, and Julia wasn't forgiving her for the same mistake in a row.
Finally, after lots of pleading, Julia sighed and let the matter go again.
Sometimes later, after breakfast, everybody moved to their respective work, and Julia, Amy, and Stella were ready to go for a temple visit, which they do every Friday.
Amy informed Sarah
"Sarah, I, elder sister Julia and Stella are going for a temple visit and will come back in an hour, alright,"
"No problem, I will take care of house chores with servants." Sarah nod obediently.
"No, Sarah, this is a big palace you can't be able to deal with everything alone. Let me back home, I will help you." Stella said.
"Or you can ask Ashely to help you," Julia said.
"Elder sister, spare her. Ashley is not a helping hand, she only knows to mess around."
Amy said half-jokingly, making everybody laugh, but got a sharp glare from Julia.
"Amy, will you ever change and stop taunting others?" Julia scolded Amy.
Julia is Amy's sister, and she is watching her sister since they were young, even though Amy is clear-hearted but she has a glib tongue and does not leave any chance to taunt the people whom she doesn't like much.
Being elder sister, Julia always ignores her childish act, but she has fears that one day her attitude may create differences between family members.
"Elder sister, I am not wrong either, am I?" Amy said coquettishly to her elder sister.
"Amy, grow up you are not my younger sister anymore, don't know where these childish acts of yours will lead us one day."
Sometimes Julia has a headache dealing with her sister and her antics.
Sarah was watching this new drama with a wide-open mouth because all this is new for her. Since she got married to Stefan and moved to Walter's palace, she has never seen this side of her mother-in-law, but it's not new for Stella, because she has witnessed this kind of argument before.
Even though they sometimes argue like this still they both don't have any conflict with each other and maintained a wave of peace in this clan.
"Elder sister......."
Now Amy was going to retort to continue arguments but interrupted by Sarah.
"Mom, big aunty, you both please don't tangle in argument because of me. I will not do any house chore alone and wait for Stella to be back from the temple, alright?"
Sarah finds the solution for their argument and made it end.
"Hmm, let's go then...." Julia said.
"Alright, Sarah, till then take some rest."
Amy nod and they all walked out of the palace and Sarah moved towards her room to have some rest. She was not feeling well for few days so she wanted to use this time to have a nap.
Even though Ashley was not at the scene when everybody was talking but she heard everything from the corridor and was envious of Sarah.
She was working hard to win everybody's heart, but still, Sarah is their favorite. What's more, she is separated from Ronald because of Sarah's cunning move and disliked by everyone in the family. Sarah is like a thorn in her eyes, and she has to remove this thorn.
Now there is only one way to get what she has lost is to get rid of this thorn in her life.
Ashley, after thinking for a while, planned her cunning move and now waiting for the time to execute it while sitting in the lounge near Sarah's room at Stefan's residential area on the 3rd floor of the palace.
After around one hour, Ashley stood up to make her first move.
She, while walking, mumbling to herself, "It's time for everybody to come back. Let me complete the first step of the plan first."
Ashley calculates everything and exactly know that Sarah will come down before even everybody will be back, that's why she brought a bottle of oil and pour it on the upper stairs of the second floor.
"Now, soon Sarah will come out of her room as she will hear the horn of the car, she will come down and as she will step on this oil, then nothing will save her from falling down, and finally, I will get rid of her forever."
Ashley looks back and forth before and after completing her work, after confirming that nobody was there to see. She hurriedly walked to her room and eagerly wait to listen to Sarah's scream.
Ashley calculates this too that when Sarah will fall, she should be in her room otherwise she could be suspected, if not for others, then Stefan will definitely not let her go.
Whereas on the other side Sarah looked at her wristwatch and realized that it's almost one hour, everybody will be back soon and she has to take care of lunch.
She woke up, washed her face, and tidied her clothes. Just then she heard the sound of the horn, checked from the balcony, and saw Julia and Amy's car entered the palace gate.
"They are already here, I should go and check on servants, god knows what are they doing and where is the butler."
Sarah came out of her room while mumbling and climbed the stairs down fast.
In her rush, she didn't notice the oil on the stairs and step on it.
"Ahh......" As Ashley expected, Sarah's leg slipped and her loud scream echoed in the palace.
