After coming back from the hospital Sarah didn't rest as the doctor asked, she was taking care of dinner, supervising the servants' work.
Later at the time of dinner, Sarah and Ashley both were standing near the dining table and supervising the final touch when everybody came to the dining hall.
"Sarah, you are already not well, so sit down and let Ashley will complete the rest of the work," Julia said, pulling Sarah towards her and made her sit.
Sarah wants to refute but Ashley said first, "Sarah, mom is right you are not well since morning, so sit down I will take care of rest everything."
Ashley said with a genuine smile and Sarah also smile towards her, but her heart is complicated at this moment. On one side, she wanted to trust Ashley, but her old betrayal didn't let her repeat the old mistake.
"By the way, what has the doctor said, I hope nothing serious?" Ashley asked considerately,
Sarah was back to her sense listening to Ashley's voice and subconsciously nod her head in negative, "It's nothing, just weakness."
"You should take proper rest," Amy said.
"Mom, whether Ronald is coming back for a six-month anniversary party or not?" Ashley asked while eating.
Although she was looking calm and asked very casually, the heart was very desperate and looking everybody with innocent eyes.
"Ashley, dear I am sorry to inform you, but Ronald has terrible work pressure, that's why he will not be able to come to the party, but he promised he will come back soon."
Julia answered with a sorry face and Ashley's face hung down for a minute, but she immediately concealed it and smile painfully.
"It's ok mom, don't be sorry."
Julia has a proud smile for Ashley, now nobody has any doubt that Ashley is not pretending but changed genuinely, still, Sarah's doubt didn't eliminate.
After dinner, all went towards their room when Sarah and Ashley were taking care of the rest of the work like dishes and clean up and all in the kitchen and outside of the kitchen Stella was talking to Julia expressing her pity for Ashley.
"Mom, I am feeling terrible for Ashley, poor she, her face was hung down."
"Stella, it's Ronald's decision, we can't do anything in that."
Ashley squeezed her eyes, inhaled a deep breath to relax then spare a calm smile to Sarah who also listens to the conversation of Julia and Stella and now looking towards Ashley.
Just then, Amy walked into the kitchen and held Sarah's hand while pulling her out of the kitchen. "Sarah, you need to take a rest, leave all this work, Ashley will take care of everything."
"It's alright mom, there is not too much work, let me help her."
Sarah retort, but Amy didn't listen and pulled her out of the kitchen forcefully.
"No, need she is perfectly fine to deal with all this, you are not well and need rest. Let's go with me."
Amy wasn't rude to anybody, but she was stern to Sarah, but when Ashley heard what Amy said she felt like Amy is taunting her.
Ashley felt a sharp pain of humiliation in her heart, slowly she once again started smoldering in jealousy. She squeezed her eyes and let fear drops fall on her cheeks.
Although she pretends calm and not sad in front of everybody but in alone, she let her emotions come out and each drop of hot water dripping from her eyes, making her heart more resentful and aggravated.
"For the past three months I am working like a mad to make up for every family member, it's not only to get their sympathy, but I want my husband back. How can he just forget me leaving in his old house?"
"And after working hard for his family I am not more than a maid for these people, all the time Ashley will take care of every work and princess Sarah will rest. They all are taking me for granted, I will not let this continue."
"What's more, Ronald can't come back for now. Am I trash in his life or a servant for his folks? I am not doing all this for these people, but try to get Ronald's love showing the change in myself through these people."
"I don't want to continue this anymore; I am poised off. If I can't get my Ronald back, I don't want to let it go. I literally wanted to punish all of them, but what to do, the grandmother is not letting me do anything."
Ashley tears her long, calm, pretending face and lets her true, ugly, and selfish intentions come out, which made her face dark. She was blabbering like a lunatic while striding towards her room.
"Even though grandmother doesn't want me to do any harm to anybody, I will not let this matter go without punishing them."
Ashley entered her room, hitting her foot on the floor, and started blabbering more loudly.
"When I got nothing after being good, then why would I be good to anybody. It was best that I should bad to every person who blocks my path, like this I actually got married to Ronald. Now I will use the same trick to get him back in my life.
Ashley was pacing back and forth and blabbering and venting her anger on the floor by her foot.
She couldn't wait to plan anything and disappear Sarah first in front of her, then everybody who is responsible to make her angry but restraining herself because her grandmother asked her not to do without her concern.
'No, I can't wait, I will talk to grandmother, right now."
As Sarah predict before that Ashley couldn't hold it for long now her anger is getting on her head, she even yells at Marie angrily, as the call connected, "Grandmother, I can't hold it anymore, till now I did everything whatever you said, but I can't do it anymore."
"Ashley, calm down first, then tell what's wrong?" Marie was also panicked, listening to Ashley's furious yell, which pierced her ear through the phone.
Ashley took a few deep breaths, then said, "Even devoting myself to the family since past three months, I am nothing more than a servant to them, nobody is nice to me. What's more, Ronald also doesn't want to come back ever."
Ashley was not only complaining, but exaggerating everything to provoke Marie.
When Marie didn't say anything, Ashley thought she is believing her, she continued, "All this is happening in my life because of Sarah, grandmother, now I will not let her go just like that, she has to pay for her exploits."
Marie's eyes turned wide, even though she was listening silently to let Ashley vent her anger, she will not allow her to do anything wrong again.
"Shut up Ashley, don't you dare to do anything wrong."
