Phoenix Sterling
I swore that I would kill Finn Ancelet with my own hands. He took this to another level and I don't know how he knew that I'm one of the members of ILLICIT. He kidnapped Lana in the process after killing Alester so that I could give him what he wants.
Since I pissed off Dean earlier, I don't think he would help me and so is Chance. I'm on my own and I have to figure it out myself. I tracked Lana's phone to her last location because from that point, I don't think Finn would be that far.
When I found where her phone last was active and it's an abandoned factory. I got into my car and drove towards that abandoned factory alone. I was driving in full speed not caring about how many tickets I will get from this as long as Lana is safe.
As I was driving, there were 6 cars tailing me and driving near me. All of the 6 cars started to barricade me and my phone rang.
It's Dean.
"Hello." I answered.
"You need back up." He said simply and that made me not hopeless anymore. "I sent 2 helicopters and I alerted the authorities too. Goodluck." He ended the call. I sped up towards the place and hoping that Lana is not hurt.
I don't know how Finn knew that I was a part of ILLICIT but he's crazy. He wants my new military gear for illegal shit. I think he's selling it to the drug cartels around Europe.
He's taking it too far. I never even thought he would be the one behind this. He used Julie for it and even killed Lana's father. I will kill him myself and show no mercy towards him. I saw the helicopters going towards the abandoned factory first and it's still 15 minutes away.
Lana, I hope you're okay.
I could feel my heart beating so fast, completely afraid that something might happen to Lana. I'm going to kill Finn for sure. He's stupid for luring me without thinking the risk and the consequences.
He knew that I'm one of the ILLICIT and he should know better that he shouldn't have messed with me.
I turned to the car screen seeing Dean connecting a communication system for me and the whole team that's going to find Lana.
"Mr. Sterling, do you copy?" I heard one of the team members ask.
"Yes, copy."
"The situations here is we have 5 cars and approximately 30 people guarding the place. We found lots of weapons too in the building." He described the situations there.
"We will waiting for your command, Mr. Sterling."
"Any signs of Lana?" I asked in panic.
"We're trying to find her." He said and I'm 5 minutes away from the location. I want to know the situation first before going in.
"Mr. Sterling, we have Europol teams coming in along with the police nearby. We will be waiting for your command." I could feel my adrenaline rushing through my body and my anger took over.
I stopped 1 block away from the abandoned factory and got out of my car. One of the security team members gave me a bulletproof vest and a machine gun. They handed me a communication device too so we can communicate.
I saw the two helicopters going around the area as Finn's men tried to shoot them.
"Do you all copy?" I asked as I turned on my ear piece. They gave me a reply signaling that we all already connected. We walked towards the abandon factory and Europol joined us. Of course they will, ILLICIT are the ones who provide them with new technologies and weapons. They owed us.
I took out my phone and dialed Finn's phone number.
"Mr. Sterling, it seems Finn Ancelet trying to escape. We still couldn't find Ms. Castroff." I heard the report from the helicopter team. I put my phone back in and decided to command my team to throw some grenades to the gates.
After it blew up, we got in and we got some shooting from the factory.
"We found Ms. Castroff!"
"I want you to shoot some of the men, cover me.. I'm going in." I said and I got 5 men covering me towards the abandon factory.
"We found Finn Ancelet heading towards the back of the factory." They reported me.
"Shoot him." I said as I got into the factory. I shot some of Finn's men in the process.
"Lana!" I called her loudly and I was waiting for an answer.
"Ms. Castroff is on your 2 o'clock, Mr. Sterling." I heard from the helicopter team. I looked around and found a lot of rooms. I need to find her fast.
"Mr. Sterling, we found a bomb ready to blow up." That's when my alert went off. I immediately ran towards all the rooms at 2 o'clock. The first 2 doors that I opened had no signs of Lana.
I bursted the third door and my eyes widened when I saw Julie and Lana's bodies. They both were shot and bleeding a lot. "I need one helicopter now! We need to go to the hospital and immediately retreat before the bomb goes off!" I screamed. Lana was unconscious and I was trying to find her pulse.
"Lana.. Lana.." I called her as I picked her up. One of my men carried Julie and we ran out from the factory. Before we reached the gate, the bomb blew up. I got the impact pretty hard and a lot of them helped me.
"Mr. Sterling, we couldn't find Finn anymore."
"Let him be on the run, we need to go to the hospital first!" I screamed and they helped me walk to the helicopter. I got into the helicopter along with Lana and Julie who are both not conscious at all.
"Medic team is here!" I heard and turned to see 4 medical team members running towards the helicopter. They bought their kit and got into the helicopter.
"Go to the hospital now!" They shut the door and I turned to Lana. One of the doctors handled her right away. He said that her pulse was going on and off. She was shot two times on the stomach and her right thigh. She was losing a lot of blood.
At that moment, I couldn't hear anything and my vision became blurry. The bomb blew up pretty big earlier and my body was thrown away pretty far. I got most of the impact instead of Lana which is.. good but I was slowly starting to lose my conscious too.
I tried so hard not to doze off because I need to make sure that she's okay first.
"You have to be okay, Lana."
