"I told you that she is getting panic attack then why the fuck you didn't leave her hand?" I growled at Dominic. At first, only I told him that it triggered Sana about her past when I held her hand above her head while intimidating her. He didn't listen to me as Sana was moaning his name. I again warned him to leave her when Sana started getting panicked but the bastard lost himself in pleasure while kissing her neck and then what I feared most happened. Sana had a panic attack and started screaming to leave her while taking Andrew's name. It didn't take us long to understand that she started remembering her past. Her eyes were closed and she was crying, pleading to leave her. Dominic left her hand and called out her name loudly to bring her into sense, even Maya tried to call Sana but nothing worked.
I took control and moved toward the bed. I lay her down on the bed and removed my hands, avoiding any touch. When she cooled down a little, I brushed my finger over her cheeks and called her lovingly, and thankfully it worked. She opened her eyes when I asked. She looked at me shockingly and then went numb when she realised what happened.
I took her in my embrace and moved my finger on her hair. She was still breathing heavenly, not able to come out of whatever just happened.
"Sano"
"I don't want to stay in this room... Please let's go.. please" I scrunched my eyebrow at her request and looked around the room. My eyes went to Richard's frame hanging on the wall.
I understood why Sana panicked even though she was comfortable and enjoyed everything that Dominic was doing.
"Thank god, it was not because of my action... I was feeling guilty for scaring our mate. " Dominic mindlink me. I didn't reply and made Sana sit upright then stood up from bed and picked the beg from the ground which Sana brought from Irene then went toward Sana after taking out her clothes. I sat beside her and made her wear her clothes with my hand.
After settling her clothes, I tied her hair in a simple bun and picked her up in my arms. She didn't say anything and rested her head on my chest.
Sana was silent all the time but I know she was battling with herself because she hated it when she stopped me or Dominic when we came close to her. She must be thinking about all the negative aspects.
"She was ready to consume our relationship before seeing Richard's picture" Maya mindlink me. My eyes shoot up hearing her, I look at Sana who was lost in her own thoughts. I snuggled her in my arms until we reached outside. She looked at everyone and then at me. I made her stand and morphed into a wolf then kneel in front of her. Max came towards us and helped Sana to climb over Dominic.
"Hold him tightly, mate," I mumbled. she held Dominic's fur and leaned towards my neck, hugging him like a baby.
"She was upset and broken... I can feel her emotion" Dominic mindlink me and started running towards our pack. Everyone followed us except Max and a few warriors whom I had given work to visit Richard's villa.
After an hour, we reached the villa. Sana was still laying on my back, not aware of her surroundings.
"Sano, we are at home" I called her after half an hour. She sat upright and looked around.
"When we reached here" She mumbled to herself, she was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't even realise we had reached the pack long ago. She hopped down from me and went inside the villa. I too morphed into a human. a warrior rushed toward me with a boxer.
After wearing it, I went towards my room, knowing Sana must be there. I was surprised when she was not inside the room. I was about to go out when I heard the sound of water.
I sighed in relief and moved inside the room, locking the door behind me. The washroom door was open and she was standing under the shower water like a statue, not realising my presence. tears welled up in my eyes, seeing her like this. I went towards her and stood beside her. Before I could close the knob of shower, she held my hand and nodded her head negatively.
"Let me clean myself" She mumbled and then pushed me aside. We both were looking at each other through the mirror. I can feel how broken she was from inside and hiding all her pain behind this emotionless face. I hugged her from behind and pulled her closer to me.
"Please cry, scream or say something but please don't stay like this" I mumbled.
"I will not cry, not before killing Andrew" She replied and closed the shower. After a while, she moved her hand over my hand.
"I'm sorry," She whispered.
"For what?"
"For pushing Dominic like this... It was not intentional nor was I uncomfortable with Dominic. I just got a panic attack"
"It's okay baby" I kissed her hair.
"No... it's not okay… This is the second time when I pushed you away. Everything was good" She scrawled and removed my hand from her waist. "Reject me, Alex... I don't deserve you. I can't fulfil my single responsibility and give you any pleasure... I will never be able to give you what you and Dominic want from me as a mate. I don't think that I will ever be able to fight my fear and I'm sure because of this tomorrow or later you will reject me and choose someone else. It's better if you reject me now only... Please" She shuttered and a tear rolled from her eyes.
"I will never be able to fulfil your needs... Re---Reject me"
"Say it again"
"Reject"
"Think wisely before uttering nonsense" I warned interrupting her. She moved a little away from me and bowed her eyes.
"I don't deserve you, Alex... You have your needs and I'm not capable of fulfilling them... please reject" Before she could complete I pulled her close to me.
"Shut the fuck up" I growled. She flinched and tried to move away but I tightened my grip around her arms.
"Shut the fuck your mouth before I lose my control and do something which put me in regret for a lifetime" I snarled, fuming in anger. I felt like all my veins popped out and it would burst out because of anger.
"Dare you to heal her, Maya otherwise I will surely reject you both" I frowned and pushed Sana away from me. She was looking at me devastatingly and then at her arms which turned red and slight blood was oozing out from where I held her, maybe my claws dig into her skin.
"How could you Sana? How could you ask me to reject you despite knowing how much I love you?" I asked and a tear rolled from my eyes.
"Alex" She came towards me to wipe my tears but I pushed her hand away.
"Dare you to touch me. You lost this right, the moment you told me to reject you" I growled and moved out of the washroom.
"Alex... Alex" I didn't turn back despite her calling me and went directly towards the training area. I again morphed into a wolf and started running towards the forest as fast as I could. Sana's words roamed in my mind.
"Reject me, Alex... I don't deserve you. I can't fulfil my single responsibility and give you any pleasure... I will never be able to give you what you and Dominic want from me as a mate. I don't think that I will ever be able to fight my fear and I'm sure because of this tomorrow or later you will reject me and choose someone else. It's better if you reject me. Please"

"She thinks so low of us, Dominic" I whimpered and stopped at the lakeside where I met her for the first time. A tear rolled from my eyes, remembering her harsh words. If she would abuse me then I wouldn't have felt this way but she is thinking that we would reject her because of a bullshit reason. I'm feeling like I want to destroy everything around me in anger.
"She was not in her full sense, Alex," Dominic replied after I calmed down a little bit.
"Yeah, she was not in her senses, really?" I scrawled.
"She was not in her sense then she was uttering this much then I can't imagine what she would have said in her sense" I scoffed.
"She is injured," Dominic mumbled, becoming restless. "Our mate is in pain… I can feel it"
"She must be crying after we left, that's why you're feeling like this, Dominic. We will go in a while."
"Have you lost your mind? Our mate needs us" He growled. Before I could reply, someone poked into my mind. I opened my mindlink.
"Brother, where are you?" I rolled my eyes, knowing Irene must have seen Sana crying. That's why she mindlink me to find out the reason or to scold me.
"little busy"
"Sana is injured" Irene yelled when I was about to cut the mindlink.
"When I was crossing your room, I smelt blood. That's why I peeked inside the room and found Sana lying unconscious on the ground and blood oozing out from her head. The worst part is Maya is not healing her" My eyes shoot up hearing her.
"Please brother come soon, Sana needs her mate. In your presence, she will heal soon because of the mate bond " She mumbled. I morphed into a wolf and ran towards the villa.
"I was continuously telling you that our mate is injured and in pain but you didn't listen to me" Dominic growled and increased the speed.
"Why the hell Maya is not healing Sana" I frowned.
"Why don't you ask yourself this question?" He scoffed and that's when I remembered the words I said to Maya.
"Dare you to heal her Maya otherwise I will surely reject you both"

"Fuck" I cursed myself for my stupidity and increased my speed to reach villa as soon as possible…
