"I'm not sure but I think that Ava was Richard's wife and that's why Richard took her stand despite her insulted Sana" Maya mumbled. I look at Max.
"Called the best artist tomorrow and asked him to sketch that woman as Maya described," I said and turned my head towards Maya who nodded her head in agreement.
"We will take out a search team for Ava and if our doubt is right then we will finally catch the real culprit," I said looking at everyone
"She must be living in a forest villa right now," Maya mumbled. I look at her side.
"As much as I know Richard, he was a sybarite who loved to live in luxury. He must have kept his wife in a place that is full of luxury. After all, he too would go to spend time with his wife." She said and then turned her face towards everyone.
"Richard's pack is covered with forest. When I morphed into a wolf for the first time, I roamed in Richard's territory following water voices coming from the lake which is across Richard's pack border. That's when in the middle of the forest, I saw a villa and by looking at it, anyone could say it was owned by an Alpha. Since it was Richard's pack then there might be a chance that his wife was leaving there, hidden from everyone, and who knows if she was still leaving there" Maya muttered.
"This is possible because after we attacked Richard's villa and killed Richard, we didn't get much time to roam across that territory as Alpha ordered all of us to search for Andrew or say search for Sana because he had a strong feeling that you're not safe and he might have kidnapped Sana" Max mumbled. Maya looked at me and then smiled.
"I don't have any memories of what Andrew did to Sana. I was in deep slumber because of wolfsbane," she mumbled.
"He brutally raped her more than 30 times," I mumbled and tears welled up in my eyes remembering Sana's horrible condition when I rescued her from Andrew's house.
"I remember only a few things that I and Sana, both were in pain" Maya mumbled. I didn't say anything and started thinking about Andrew… Don't know where that bastard hid because a whole warrior is searching for him but no result came. I wanted to torture him so badly for what he did to my innocent girl. Sana still got scared and got panic attacks remembering those horrible moments of her life.
"Alex" I looked at Irene's side when she called me.
"If she is Richard's wife who was involved in every crime which Richard did then we will not give her an easy death" she mumbled.
"We will definitely torture her brutally for what she did but we won't kill her," I said and looked at Sam's side who was silently listening to all our conversations.
"Like us, Richard and his wife killed Sam's sister and brother who was the only family member of her. I promised Sam that she will take her revenge and kill Richard's wife" I said. Tears brimmed in her eyes while Maya hugged her and wiped her tears lovingly as a sister-in-law. I loved the way Sana and Maya accepted my family member as her. I turned Maya's face towards me and attached my lips to hers, earning a moan from her.
We both started kissing each other, ignoring everyone's presence, losing myself in love with my mate and the taste of her lips which made me forget my existence. All I could remember is her.
I parted away from Sana's lips and kissed her forehead. she smiled and wiped her lipstick from my lips making me blush. She turns her head towards everyone.
"I'm 99% sure that Ava was Richard's mate. Let's catch her and end this chapter of the story" Maya mumbled.
"Finally I will get a chance to take revenge for my brother and sister's death," Sam mumbled. I nodded my head while Maya hugged her lovingly.
"I had bad news Alpha," Max said, interrupting our conversation.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Alice took her life a while ago. A warrior went to give her food and there he found her body lying on the ground. She took her locket in the mouth which was full of poison."
"How could you be this careless Max?" I growled loudly, making everyone flinch in fear except Alpha Stefan and my mate Sana. I felt a hand on my arms to calm me down.
"It was not his fault, Alex," Maya mumbled.
"It is... I told him clearly to keep an eye on her." I scrawled. Max bowed his head.
"I'm sorry Alpha"
"Do the fuck with your sorry" I yelled and went towards the villa.
"Alex" I heard Maya calling me but I was furious to hear anything. I went directly to my room and stood near the window. I closed my eyes to calm my anger and that's when I remembered Sana's words.
#Flashback
"I'm like this only, Sana. I easily lose my temper" I mumbled while holding my ear.
"That doesn't give you a reason to yell at people for no reason" She scoffed.
"I'm sorry"
"you roamed in a villa like a hulk and when you saw anyone doing things not according to you then you started growling like a monster"
"Did you call me a monster?" I exclaimed.
"Yes... I did… Now what? Would you yell at me in the same way you yell at a maid just for changing flowers? `` She frowned and turned her face to the other side.
"It was my mom's favourite flower... it was dad's order to always decorate the villa with her favourite flowers and when that maid changed them to another flower, it made me furious" I mumbled.
"You can say the same thing to her in the same tone" she mocked.
"Okay… I understand your point but try to understand me, I have an anger issue"
"In that case, close your eyes and give yourself 20 seconds before reacting to anything. Maybe it would subside your anger."
"It won't work"
"Give it a try then say it won't work" She mumbled.
#Present
I closed my eyes and counted to twenty. It did work, my anger subsided a little and I calmed down. I was lost in my thoughts when I felt a pair of hands encircle my waist and caged me in her arms. I smiled then held her hand and made her come in front of me.
"Still angry?" Maya asked.
"Little bit" I mumbled. She hugged me and rested her head on my chest lovingly.
"If Alice was alive then there is a possibility that She could have told us where her Luna is." I groaned and encircled my hands around her waist, hugging her back.
"she wouldn't... She took her life so that no one gets to know anything from her and this proves her loyalty towards Richard's wife"
"That doesn't justify Max's mistake. He didn't do his work well which I asked him to do. I didn't expect such kind of behaviour from him. He is beta, if he is making such kind of mistakes then what will I say to others" I said. She smiled and broke the hug.
"Everyone makes a mistake and nobody knows that Alice had any poisonous thing with her otherwise we would have snatched it from her and Max is feeling guilty for disappointing you" She mumbled. I sighed and mind-linked Max.
"Sorry, I shouldn't have behaved like that"
"If anyone should feel sorry then it's me, Alpha. I'm sorry for disappointing you" he said.
"You should take care of Emily instead of boring me," I said and cut the mind linked with him. I turned my head towards Maya who was silently laughing.
"What happened? Why are you laughing?`` I asked.
"I'm feeling so good... Like I'm walking on mooooooooooooonnnnn" She said dragging the word moon. I laughed listening to her.
"Now, why are you laughing?" She asked.
"Because I'm feeling the same as you're feeling" I mumbled and we both started laughing. After a while we both become silent. Maya looked at me.
"Why are we laughing?" She asked.
"I don't know and who cares?" We both started laughing again like crazy drunks.
"Did we get drunk?" I asked while holding my stomach which started arching because of continuous laughing.
"We drank water" Maya mumbled and pulled me closer to her by holding my collar and attaching her lips to mine, and started kissing my lips. I was trying to accommodate what was happening when I remembered Irene's words.
"Ohh god, they drank our bottle"

It didn't take me long to understand that Irene mixed something in the water. Fuck why didn't I notice it first?
"Honey," I moaned when Maya bit my lower lip, making me forget everything. I grabbed her hair and deepened the kiss… Don't know what this night will bring for us but I'm loving every moment of it.
