I was appalled after hearing everything... I'm not able to understand how I should react, say or do... Everything was too much for me to take.
"I'm with you" Maya mindlinked me.
"Everything was a lie, Maya... I'm feeling like my existence is a lie" I replied. I was feeling empty from inside, not able to process anything, until Alex shook me, making me come out of my daze.
"Sano" I abruptly looked at him and a tear rolled from my eyes.
"It's okay" He cupped my face…
"You can share with me, your feeling and thoughts that were going in your mind"
"How could he do this to me? He cheated on my mother... He is the one because of whom my mother died and all my life he blamed me for my mother's death... How could he do this to me?" I whimpered and hugged him while crying. He took a deep breath of relief after I responded, he must have gotten scared when I was lost in thoughts, not saying anything.
"Why did he do this to me? Why?" I yelled and broke down in his arms.
"I'm not the one to whom you should ask this question?"
I broke the hug and look at him, dumb headed not understanding what he mean. He wiped my tears and kissed my forehead.
"Ask your father why he did this to you and why he cheated on your mom. Asked every question which was raised in your brain from him" I muttered. At first, I didn't get what he meant but then I realised he is right, why am I bothering myself instead of bothering the person who did wrong to me and my mom?
I nodded my head and stood up from my chair. He stood up and held my hand. I went outside holding his hand, towards Max's room but stopped at the door seeing Max fuming and Emily trying to calm him.
Max looked at our side, sensing our presence then stood up from bed. I went inside the room and stood up in front of him
"Took me to the dad" I clamped up and took a deep breath to control my emotions. I don't want to mourn, not before confronting my so-called father.
"Take me to the red moon pack," I said. His expression paled when I took dad's pack name and I can understand his reaction because, like me, dad does nothing good for him and his mom.
"I'm not going there" He muttered and turned his face to the other side. "I don't want to see that man's face ever in my life because if I did then it would remind me of everything wrong that he did with me and my mom and I would end up killing him. I'm sure you don't want that to happen." He snarled.
"I don't care what you want or did with him… I just want to go there" My voice cracked up and a tear rolled from my eyes. Alex came to me and put his hand on my shoulder, rubbing it there to console me.
"I will repeat myself for you: I'm not going there"
"Fine... If you're not coming with me then I'm going with Alex" I mumbled and turned my heels to go.
"Sana" I stopped at the door but didn't turn towards him.
"You will also not go there" he growled. I turned towards him.
"I'm not a coward like you brother who can't fight for himself... who can't question the culprit for his deeds"
"Why? why do you want to go there and what was the use of it... we both are happy with our mates then why Sana? why do you want to go in that pack which always gives you harsh memories" He asked frustratingly.
"Because I can't stay like you... You forget everything because you got a family here but how will I forget what he did to me... 17 years of my life, I was listening accuses of being the reason for my mother's death, and for 19 years of my life, I blamed myself for her death and you're asking me why I want to go there" I scoffed and wiped my tears which fall from my eyes remembering those cruel moments of my life.
"I want to ask Dad." I clamped up and nodded my head negatively... he is not my dad nor he deserves to be called dad.
"I want to ask Alpha David why he did this to me. Why did he cheat on our mother? I want him to answer why he didn't kill me and blame me for my mother's death" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I was breathing heavily, fuming in anger... My emotions were out of control... Thanks to Alex who was standing beside me, holding me through my waist to console and balance me so that I won't fall, feeling overwhelmed.
"Fine.. if you want to go there then I won't stop you but I'm not coming with you" Max replied in a stern tone. I kept looking at him for a while then wiped my tears.
"It was my fault that I was expecting my brother to stand by my side when I was confronting the villain of my and his life but I was wrong like always. I won't say, I don't need anyone because that would be a lie... I want someone to be by my side whom I call my family which I never had before. Thanks to the moon goddess that he sent Alex into my life who cares, loves, and supports me unlike my two big brothers" I shrieked and went outside of his room, rushing towards the exit of the villa while Alex followed me.
"Luna wait" I stopped hearing Sam's voice.
"I'm sorry for stopping you like this." She bowed her head in respect. Alex looked at me and then at Sam.
"I heard you're going to the Red moon pack," Sam asked and strangely I could see the excitement in her eyes with the name of that pack. I didn't reply to her and turned my face to the other side.
"Yeah… What happened?" Alex asked knowing that I'm not in a state of saying anything.
"If you don't mind, may I come with you?" she asked nervously. I and Alex look at each other and then at her.
"Why do you want to go there?" I frowned… I realised that I'm using my aura in anger when She flinched and moved back in fear.
"I'm sorry for scaring you" I mumbled and closed my eyes to calm myself. Alex took me into his arms which I needed the most... His fragrance always relaxes my mind and soon I cooled off.
"Say Sam... why do you want to go there?" Alex asked.
"To meet my mate who is soon going to become Alpha of the red moon pack." She said with a smile and my eyes widened hearing her.
"You mean Darek?" I asked to confirm she was talking about my brother. she meekly nodded her head… she is my brother's mate.
"I don't know if he will let me in or not after what I did to him but I want to meet or see him. If I will go with you two then I'm sure he will let me enter his pack"
I didn't understand a single word of what she said but I understood one thing: she had some issues with Darek... I closed my eyes in frustration and cursed my faith for sending one after another problem. I was going to confront dad, not thinking about my brother who was also present there... I don't know how he will react.. will he believe me or just ignore me like always and if he and I handle the situation maturely then don't know what twist will come when he will see Sam with us...
