Walking out of the hotel, the waitress saw her and was a bit confused to see her so early, she wondered if maybe she forgot something. She was about to talk to her but when she saw Jessica's face, she stopped herself immediately.
It was already dark when she walked out. She picked up her phone, pressing nervously to order a taxi but she couldn't type anything and she decided to continue walking down the street.
A car stopped by her side, and the driver, Gary, was calling her name but Jessica could not see him.
Gary, who just finished a meeting with a business partner, came out of the hotel and saw Jessica coming out of the elevator with a smile on his face. He walked towards her, calling her name but he noticed she couldn't hear and he decided to follow her immediately.
" Jessica!" Gary shouted again.
Jessica was thinking about how her life turned upside down, after hearing what Edwin and his friends were saying about her, stopped walking after she heard her name.
Looking in the direction of the voice, she saw Gary, but she completely ignored him and she continued walking.
Being ignored, Gary wondered what might have happened to her. Judging by her dress, she must be coming from an occasion. Gary stopped his car engine and got down from his car and walked toward her.
" Jessica!" he called again, " are you okay? What is the matter? Why are you crying?" Gary asked as he held her shaking hand.
" Can you just let me go, I want to be alone," she said, sobbing.
" Of course, I will let you be alone, but I can't leave you like this," he prodded. " this street is very dangerous, just let me drop you at home then I will let you be alone,"
After giving it a thought, Jessica decided that he could drive her home. She entered his car and she sat quietly, thinking about what to do next.
After twenty minutes of driving, Jessica got down from the car and walked inside her apartment but Gary quickly followed her footstep, he wasn't convinced to let her be alone yet.
Seeing Gary entering her house, Jessica looked back and looked into his eyes, " But you said you will let me be alone,"
" I will like to have some water, am t_"
" No problem, you can come in," Jessica interrupted him.
Immediately they entered the house, Jessica entered the kitchen and got him a bottle of water, and then she opened the door for him to leave.
" Thanks for dropping me, but I want to be alone," Jessica said, holding the door for him to leave.
" Jessica, I can't leave you like this, I am sorry but I have to stay with you tonight," Gary said, looking at her red eyes.
" Am an adult, I can take care of myself, I just want to be _"
Jessica couldn't complete getting the statement after she noticed her phone was ringing, seeing the caller, she was about to smash the phone but Gary was fast enough to get it from her, he looked at the caller and saw her boss's name, Edwin.
Connecting the dots, Gary summoned the courage to ask her what happened.
" What did he do to you," Gary said in a calm voice with a furrowed brow.
" Did you? He just destroyed my life ah ah ah," Jessica laughed, sitting down on the couch as she started crying again.
Gary sat down beside her and his eyes were concentrated on Jessica, he decided to ask her again. " What happened between you two, please tell me,"
After thinking for a while, Jessica explained everything to Gary, sobbing hard.
Gary brought her close to his body as he tried his best to console her.
" What do you want to do with the pregnancy? Do you wish to keep it? " Gary asked with a sour expression.
" I am scared Gary, what if I died during Abortion, am sure my dad can't survive that," Jessica said and she continued," I know I have disappointed them but I can't abort,"
" Where are you, parents? Gary asked.
" Texas,"
" Then if you are planning to keep it, you should let them know about it," Gary suggested.
" Yes I will tell them but I don't know how they will react,"
" When are you planning to go there, I can go with you," Gary said with a smile on his face.
" If possible, by tomorrow,"
" Then let's go first thing tomorrow morning, we can go with my private jet," Gary said.
" Hmm, okay," Jessica answered as she cleaned her face.
Gary went to the kitchen to prepare dinner for her, and the two ate together, he decided to spend the night with her.
After eating dinner, Jessica saw her phone ringing again, displaying Edwin's name. He hung up immediately and off her phone before going to her room and she took Gary to the guest room to sleep for the night.

Edwin was restless seeing Jessica not around yet, he has been calling her but she hasn't been picking up his calls.
Standing up from his seat, Edwin was about to leave the party when Roy came to him.
" What happened to my lover boy? Is your girlfriend not coming?"
" Have been trying to reach her but she's not picking up my calls, I think I should go to her apartment," Edwin explained, checking his time.
" Alright, let me know when you get to her apartment," Roy said.
Edwin walked out of the hotel and drove to Jessica's apartment.
Getting to the apartment, he noticed another car packed beside Jessica's car and he wondered who the person might be.
Out of his curiosity, Edwin called his assistant to look up the owner for him, sending him the plate number of the car.
A few minutes later, Gabriel called him to let him know the car belonged to Gary Anderson.
Edwin was furious, pacing up and down in the apartment, he thought of what he could do.
" What did she take me for? I was worried about her and she was inside that apartment, fu**king Gary?" and she will come up with some crock and bull story tomorrow? I can't believe I love her,"
Edwin entered his car and drove away to his regular club to satisfy himself.
" I can't believe I changed because of her?" Edwin said with a sly smile across his face.
