Sitting in a wooden chair in an old hotel room was Misha, who had been hiding after he witnessed the policemen arrest James while she was on the way to look at how James will make out with Jessica.
She was still in doubt seeing the way everything changed in the last minutes. She had planned everything, why would Edwin be at James' house at that time?
"Why won't James notice her calling Edwin? That useless guy just wasted all my effort in a blink of an eye. I should have arranged for the man myself instead of using that imbecile!" Misha thought to herself as she bit her lower lips continuously.
" What will I do next? I can't be in hiding for long. I am sure James must have mentioned me to the police. I never thought it would come out this way, what should I do next," Misha thought to herself as she paced in the room thinking of the next action.

It was already 8 pm, and Jessica was still sleeping. Edwin was working on his laptop, sitting on the chair while his eyes moved to Jessica once in a while.
His phone rang and Edwin checked the caller only to see his friend, Roy calling him. He picked up the call and went outside so as not to disturb Jessica who was still sleeping. He went to his room to receive it.
" Hi, man. Are you back?" Edwin asked as he walked to his room.
" Yeah, I'm back, can we hang out tonight? Roy said, wondering why Edwin was talking in a low tone.
" No, I can't go out. I have someone I have to look out for. I can't let her be alone," Edwin said, as he sat on his bed.
"You want to look out for her"? You brought a girl to your house, I thought you didn't do that. Who is this girl!" Roy exclaimed.
"Jessica, my secretary," Edwin said with narrow eyes.
"Ed! Did you carry your plan out already? That's kind of early to what I thought, " Roy explained.
" Nah, it's not that. Something came up yesterday," Edwin said, sighing.
Edwin explained how Jessica was set up and he was able to rescue her from James. He knew his friend wanted to ask more questions but he didn't want to waste much time away from Jessica. He quickly said some things and he hung up the call.
He noticed he never thought of his plan nor did he remember his bet with his friends. He just wanted to look after Jessica and make sure she's fine.
But Edwin wondered why he would be feeling that way towards her. He noticed the way things turned out between them and he wondered if he could still carry out his little plan.
After the call, Edwin returned to the room where Jessica was to continue his work and his phone started ringing again. He checked out who was calling and saw his mum's name on the screen. Edwin pressed the side button to silence the call and then walked inside the room.
He went to Jessica's side when he saw her moving from the bed. Sitting beside the bed, he leans his body towards her to check on her temperature and Jessica opens her eyes slightly.
" How are you feeling now? Feeling better?" Edwin asked with a worried face as he touched her face.
" I am feeling better. I am just hungry, " Jessica said with a smile.
" And the dizziness, are you still feeling it?" Edwin asked, looking into her eyes.
" No, I am not feeling dizzy anymore, " Jessica answered.
" Let me get you something from the kitchen, " Edwin said as he walked out of the room.

After he left, Jessica kept looking at him as he went out of the room. Seeing the way he cares about her makes Jessica love him more.
She picked up her phone to see if she had any messages, and she was surprised when she saw her friend's message, Angie. She quickly replied to her message when she noticed she was online.
" Angie, am getting better, sorry for making you worry," - Jessica
" I am happy you are getting better, how is your boss turned boyfriend?" - Angie
Jessica was blushing at her message and she quickly replied.
"He's okay, in the kitchen,"- Jessica.
"He can cook? Then you are lucky to have him,"- Angie
" I can't believe he was in love with me too Angie," - Jessica
" I told you he might have the same feeling," - Angie
" Just make sure you rest very well, then after that, you can give me the full gist," - Angie
" Alight babe, thank you," - Jessica
" You welcome," - Angie .
Jessica was checking other messages and she saw the video sent to her by her little sister. He clicked it to see her parents having a nice time and her dad even happier and healthier, Jessica was happy.
Edwin came in with the food, and he saw her blushing while checking her phone and was a little jealous.
" Why are you blushing so much, who are you chatting with? Gary?" Edwin said with narrow eyes as he moved toward the bed.
He placed the food gently and sat down beside her, bringing out the spoon as he fed her.
" I am not chatting with Gary, I am chatting with my friend, " Jessica chuckled.
" Alright. Jessica, I would like you to stay here for a week so I can take care of you," Edwin said, looking at Jessica.
She almost choked with the food in her mouth," You don't have to worry, I can take care of myself"
" No, please stay here, I won't disturb you. I just want to take care of you. Besides, I won't be able to concentrate if I know you aren't feeling well and you are home alone," Edwin explained.
Jessica bites her lip in contemplation. Seeing that she was still reluctant, Edwin decided to use his last option.
" Except you want me to move to your apartment till you are better and remember that crazy girl is still out there. Who knows what she's up to?" Edwin explained as he continued feeding her.
" Okay, I will stay here but I will need to get my clothes and laptop," Jessica said, looking away from him.
" I will get them for you tomorrow morning before going to work then," Edwin suggested.
After she finished eating, Edwin returned the plate to the kitchen and ate his food also. Then after, he went back to the room.
It's already past 10 pm, Edwin picks up his laptop and goes to Jessica's bedside to kiss her goodnight.
" Where are you going?" Jessica asked with wide eyes.
" To my room, or do you still want me to keep you company?" Edwin said as he stroked Jessica's hair and Jessica answered with a small nod.
" Okay then. Let me change my nightwear, you should change too," Edwin said, as he dropped his laptop on the table and went to his room to change.
Jessica also stood up to change into Edwin's shirt and she lay on the bed, waiting for Edwin to come over.
Edwin enters after a few minutes, then he lies beside Jessica, and the two look at each other's eyes before sleep finally takes over her.
