Edwin couldn't stop blaming himself after the memory of what happened between him and Hannah at the club and he wondered if he was truly in love with Jessica.
He brought out his phone and checked the time and he noticed it was already noon.
He got up from the bed and walked out of Roy's guest room so he could go to the office.
" Roy, I am going to my house, I need to be in the office," Edwin said walking into the living room.
"Really? It's already past noon, why don't you take a break today?" Roy suggested as he stood up from the couch.
" I have some important documents to review, I will see you later," Edwin said walking toward the door.
" Alright. Guy, who was the girl you were with last night? She looked pissed off," Roy said with narrow eyes.
" It's nobody, don't stress yourself over some harlot," Edwin replied, heading out of the apartment.
He walked toward the car pack but couldn't find his car, then he remembered he couldn't drive last night due to his situation.
He went back in and got Roy's car key and he left the mansion immediately.
After twenty minutes of driving, Edwin got to his apartment. He quickly had his bath and dressed up then he left for his office immediately with Roy's car.
He called his assistant, Gabriel, who always runs important errands for him to get his car at the club and Gabriel let him know the car was in the company already.
After 15 minutes, Edwin got to the company, packed the car, and walked to his office.
Entering the office, Edwin saw his new secretary, Bridget working on the laptop. Without glancing at her twice, Edwin walked to his office and sat down while ignoring her greeting.
" Why did she remind me of her?" Edwin asked himself.
He was in his pool of thoughts when he heard his phone ringing, he picked it up to confirm the caller, and his mother's name was displayed on it.
" Why is mum calling me?" Edwin asked himself, swiping the green button on the phone.
" Hello mum," Edwin said over the phone.
" Edwin Turner!!!" Mrs. Turner shouted over the phone.
" And why are you calling my full name mum?" Edwin said, moving the phone away from his ears a little due to the way his mum shouted on the phone.
" What did you do to Hannah? Why did she say things can't work out between you too?" Mrs. Turner shouted over the phone.
" She said that? That is a good thing mum. It wasn't like I am interested in the so-called relationship," Edwin said with a smile.
"How dare you Edwin, your father put a lot of effort into that so-called relationship, you better call her and make things work out between you two," Mrs. Turner explained.
" Why? Is it a must I date her? Why are you forcing me into this? I have a girl I like," Edwin said in a calm voice.
" A girl? Am I still talking to Edwin Turner?"
" Mum, stop being dramatic, okay?" Edwin said calmly.
" Am I being dramatic?"
" Mum, okay. Listen to me, I have a girl I do like, I can't be with Hannah." Edwin said.
" Who is this girl? What's her name? Is her family influential?" Mrs. Turner said over the phone.
" Is that why you want me to date Hannah? For business? When will you and dad stop crying out loud!!!" Edwin shouted.
" Okay, just calm down Edwin, take your time. You will find Hannah interesting." Mrs. Turner said over the phone.
Edwin hung up the phone and smashed his phone on the wall.
He stood up in his seat and started pacing up and down his office, he heard a knock on his office door and he ushered the voice in and his secretary walked in.
" Sir, I am done with some of the documents," Bridget said calmly.
" Some of the documents? How long will it take you to work on five documents?" Edwin shouted and continued, " I thought they said you were good enough for this job?"
"Sir, I will finish it soon, please give me till the end of today," Bridget said quickly.
" Okay, please get out," Edwin shouted.
Bridget ran outside the office sobbing quietly and Edwin regretted his action immediately.
" I shouldn't expect all secretaries to be as smart as Jessica," he said to himself.
He walked to his seat and sat down and he started working on his laptop but he couldn't concentrate on anything.
After spending twenty minutes in the office, Edwin walked out of his office and headed home to calm his nerves down.

The plane landed at Florida airport and Jessica was awakened by one of the air hostesses. She got up and walked down with a smile on her face. She picked up her boss and started walking out of the airport and heard someone shouting her name. She looked in the direction of the voice and her eyes landed on Angie.
The two friends ran toward each other and hugged each other firmly. After a few minutes, they started walking toward a taxi.
The two friends entered the taxi and the driver drove them home. They arrived after a few minutes and Angie took her box and then walked inside.
"Angie, is this your apartment?" Jessica asked with a raised brow, admiring the apartment.
"Nooo, the apartment is yours. The company arranged it for you." Angie replied with a smile.
"Really? This is big and beautiful!" Jessica exclaimed.
The two friends walked around the apartment, starting from the bedroom, and the kitchen and Jessica already fell in love with it.
" Is your apartment like this too?" Jessica asked with a smile.
" No, it's a bit smaller and cozy, this is much better," Angie with a narrow brow.
" But you can move in here, I won't mind at all," Jessica said and Angie ran to her and carried her.
"Babe, my tummy…" Jessica trilled off.
" I'm sorry, I totally forgot. Are you okay?" Angie asked worriedly.
" I'm hungry! " Jessica shouted.
" Let me quickly order something for us, we have to go shopping tomorrow. " Angie said.
