Xiao asked as he looked at Xia Yunbai who was still sitting on the ground as he looked at Xiao with deep black eyes that held endless madness, it's been a few minutes since he had woken up, after having a mouth full of water and eating a rejuvenation pill Xia Yunbai was feeling a bit better, right now his mind had become better as the chaos in his mind had decreased a bit
He was able to analyze the situation a bit better now as his eyes focused on the boy that sat on a boulder looking down at him, his eyes scanned the boy upside down trying to see if he was a threat but all that he got from the boy was harmony but Xia Yunbai wasn't someone who only believed what he saw
Xiao smirked inwardly as he saw Xia Yunbai watching and analyzing him, the people that Xiao respects are the smart ones, the ones who would first see the situation they are in before they react, and even with all the madness and revenge Xiao could see within Yunbai's eyes, he could still identify some intelligence that was holding him in
"Whghat do yoghu wants?"
Xia Yunbai spoke, even though his body had gotten a bit better, it had still been 5 years since he had first spoken to someone, hence his voice was a bit messed up as he spoke, Xiao didn't mind as he kept looking at Xia Yunbai, he did this for a few seconds after the question before he spoke
"My name's Yun Xiao, I am from the Yun family of the Rexion Empire, the same as you"
Xiao's voice was heard across the atmosphere as it reached Xia Yunbai's ears, he didn't have any major reaction after hearing Xaio's words, he just kept looking at Xiao for him to continue, Xiao's eyes became focused as he deeply looked at Xia Yunbai as he continued
"And as the same as you, I'm also not well-liked within my family, though I didn't have problems as huge as yours"

Xiao remained silent for a moment before he spoke again
"I want you, to be specific I want you to work for me"
With these sharp words, Xia Yunbai tried to raise his body as he turned his face away from Xiao and tried to limp away, Xia Yunbai had no intention of attacking Xiao, not because he's a child because Xia Yunbai understood that there might be someone protecting Xiao and walking away was the best option for now, just as he was limping away as his bones cracked he heard Xiao speak again
"Not even if I tell you about what happened to your mother and not even if I tell you that all of your suffering and even the death of your mother was preplanned?"
Silence....Silence reigned within the forest for a moment before a raging, crimson and deep bloodlust burst out from within Xia Yunbai's body, a bloodlust so powerful that anyone who stood close to his right now would suffocate, the whole area around the forest became cold and dark, a sphere of red blood seemed to surround the whole area
What Xia Yunba was doing was bloodlust materialization, something one could only do if one had sharpened it to the limit, this was only mostly possessed by people that spend their entire lifetime fighting and killing but unlike the others, the one Xia Yunbai has is born from pure death, it was born from the despair and the deaths that Xia Yunbai had to go through for 5 whole years
Just this materialization was enough to kill a low-level cultivator, at the current moment Xia Yunabai truly had lost control, everybody has a reverse scale and for Xia Yunbai it was his mother, the only one in the world that had showered him with love and care, right now no intelligence shine within his eyes only pure chaos

As he did the madly grinning Xia Yunbai came in sight, the smile on his face was elongated as his reddish blood eyes were filled to the brim with madness but the smile on his face soon stiffened, goosebumps began to form on his body and he wasn't the only one, elder Fan who was watching this had his eye widened in horror and bone-chilling fear
The reason was simple bloodlust was being released from Xiao but unlike Xia Yunbai's his started to spread far and wide, covering a huge range and unlike Xia Yunbai's Xiao's had covered everything from the ground to the top all the animals who came in contact with it died directly....no everything that was living that came in contact with it had died
Screams started to be heard, Xia Yunbai's bloodlust was formed from his desperation and his lack of fear of death but Xiao's was born from pure slaughter, the grudge of all those that died tragically just to fuel Xiao's ambition surrounded him, there were cultivators, Childers, mothers, babies, be it innocence or guilty they all die under his hand

And now Xia Yunbai had come across the bloodlust of that devil, his barely developed bloodlust was like a baby that was fighting against a dragon that had already spread its wings, within just a second his bloodlust disappeared as his skinny legs buckled, he kneeled as his head touched the ground
He had paid his respects to a person who had once walked the path he did...the path of slaughter
