Inigo growled in anger for insulting him, but Theodore controlled him because Brandon was showing him the mirror.
“My other son-in-law, Artemis Gosling, my elder daughter, Caroline’s mate, is someone I’m proud up off. Though I have never admitted it in front of him but, he is someone who is capable of keeping my daughter happy in all the way, emotionally, mentally, and financially. Only Love is not important to survive in this cruel world. That is what I believe.”
“Artemis was Alpha heir of his pack back then when he chose Caro as his mate. But he kicked that position for Caroline’s respect and honor. But along with time, he now owns his pack. He didn’t just rise over these years, but he also helped Caro in rising high. That’s the thing that I admire the most.”
“How did he own a pack now?” Theodore questioned. He was making a note of everything. No one knew a future. But one thing was for sure; he couldn’t stay with Brandon, and if he wouldn’t, then what about his mates? Where would he keep them, on the road or in the forest?
They had been raised as a princess, and there was no doubt about that.
“There are two ways of owning a pack,” Brandon replied, not thinking much about why he was asking this. “One, you have to kill the Alpha of the pack to become the new Alpha, but that is allowed only when the previous Alpha is evil, and the pack members are against him. If the Alpha is kind and loved by the pack members, then all the pack members would stand like a wall for their Alpha as a team. In that way, you will have to kill the whole pack, and there is no meaning of during that because if everyone dies, then you will be Alpha of no one.” Brandon explained in detail. “Artemis had challenged an evil Alpha and defeated him, and in that way, he became the Alpha of that pack.”
Theodore nodded his head in understanding this clearly, “And another way is?” He asked.
“Second one is the toughest among two and is something which no one could ever achieve until now.” Brandon paused before continuing, “You have to form a pack with rogue wolves, the wolves, who have no ethics, no manners, no humanity, no loyalty, and all the evil as well as negative things in the whole world.”
“Why did this way never work?” Theodore asked, taking an interest. He had to admit that his father-in-law was a knowledgeable man. He wondered whether Liara had taken from him in this department.
“Since you’re a rogue. I’m sure that you would know that rogues take orders from no one because they grow up in such an environment where they are allowed and free to do anything that they like. So, taking orders from anyone is not their thing.” With that, Brandon started explaining the reason why this way never works and the various reason that led to the failure of those rogues who tried to form a pack with the help of the rogues.
After an hour!!
“Seriously, boys? You didn’t even finish your coffee yet.” Sophia said, stopping Brandon from sharing his knowledge. “No doubt why Lee is so much into books. I bet after reaching your age; she will also give lectures like you.”
“Sorry, Mon amour. I just carried away.” Brandon chuckled and forwarded his hand toward Sophia. Sophia held his hand and smiled at him before sitting beside him.
“So, what were you talking about?” Sophia asked, wondering how these two got along.
“Nothing. I was telling him about Black Council, the hub of rogues.” Brandon said, on which Sophia furrowed his eyebrow, wondering why Theodore was interested in these things. “They practically kill one another to survive. And only the strongest could survive there.”
“Oh!!”
“By the way, I was thinking of taking your brother’s place. So that you can meet your brother, Oliver and Steve could meet Theodore, declaring him an Urban werewolf. In that way, he can stop stinking.” Brandon mentioned, looking at Sophia.
Though Sophia was excited to meet her brother but Theodore and Steve’s meeting started scaring her.
“What do you say?” Brandon asked her.
“Steve, as in Steve Weasley?” Theodore asked to confirm, to which Brandon nodded his head. Theodore knew this wasn’t good news for him. He had never met him, but he had heard that Steve Weasley’s wolf was also hybrid. Half Demon and half Lycan, something that made him stronger than his mother, Rebecca Weasley. Her had received his power from his grandparents, who were Royal Lycan and Nephalem (They used to describe the extremely powerful offspring of Angels and Demons.)
“I heard that he is extremely cruel, heartless, and has a temper issue. And also, that he doesn’t have a good relationship with his parents because his mother chose that man as her chosen mate who had killed his REAL father.” Theodore said, recalling what he had heard about the King. “If I’m not wrong, then Oliver Weasley had killed his real father, right?”
