“Tee mentioned that you wanted to start your career in the entertainment world. Why is it so? Do you even know the ABCD of Modeling or acting?” Brandon asked Theodore.
“No. I’m just trying my luck.” Theodore said, blunting. “Being a rogue, I know nothing about killing someone. What do you suggest? Should I join the army?” He mocked Brandon. Well, he wasn’t planning to, but he just couldn’t sugarcoat his words.
The man in front of him was taking a test of his patience and everything that he had. Maybe Brandon wasn’t wrong at his place, but it was annoying and irritating Theodore.
“I don’t like attitude,” Brandon grumbled.
“As if I care,” Theodore responded, taking a sip of his coffee. Both Brandon and Theodore were sitting outside and were supposed to enjoy their coffee, along with trying to know each other. Theodore tried not to show his irritation and anger, but he couldn’t help himself. It had been four days since Tiara left for her shoot, leaving him here so that her father could grill him.
Well, he couldn’t have complained about that, too, if Liara would have given him a chance to share his feelings, but she was ignoring him again. He wondered whether it was Tiara behind all this because of Liara was ignoring him or it was his own deed.
“You should then. Because my daughters won’t mind rejecting you if I will tell them to do so.” Brandon said, sipping his coffee. “I can show you a little show if you want,” he added confidently.
“Moreover, I didn’t miss notice how Lee doesn’t even talk with you or look at you no matter how much you tried to talk with her.” Theodore’s jaw clenched hearing this, but he focused on sipping his coffee.
One thing he realized by staying with Brandon was that they couldn’t stay under one roof. Earlier, he didn’t care about staying with Brandon, even after marking his mates. But not anymore. Theodore knew as an Alpha, Brandon might have a habit of controlling everyone, but he wasn’t submission, and today or tomorrow, he would end up snapping at his father-in-law.
“Anyways, don’t think I’m threatening you, though I might sound like one. It’s just that…. you remind me of my days when I was about to get married to Sophia.” Brandon said, changing his tone. Brandon better not mess with his daughter’s mate; who knew what if Theodore would treat his daughters badly for his behavior?
“Glad to know that I’m not the one who is fond of the father-in-law.” Theodore pointed out.
“Yeah! But my mother-in-law was an amazing person.”
“Same.” Theodore agreed. No matter how much she was mad at him but not once, she treated him badly. In fact, she also helped him by telling him about Liara’s likes and dislikes. Brandon narrowed his eyes at his words.
“So, what is the color of your wolf?” Brandon asked next.
“It is the mixture of black and white,” Theodore replied instead of saying SILVER. He was positive that Brandon would think that his coat would have both black and white instead of silver.
‘Even he has white patches in his coat.’ Brandon thought and wondered whether Theodore was a blessed wolf.
“What is your date of birth?” He asked curiously.
“I don’t know,” Theodore replied. Brandon didn’t ask more about it before he knew that Theodore was telling the truth.
“You can choose a date of your liking and can celebrate it as your birthday,” Brandon suggested. “Any date which is special for you? For example, the day when you first met your mate or anything like that.” He explained.
Theodore liked that idea and already decided to celebrate his birthday to celebrate on the day when Liara had given him a name, a beautiful name to be exact. That was also the day when Liara decided to give their relationship a chance instead of rejecting him.
But why was she wanted to reject him when her family had no problem with rogue or a vampire?
“Sir, would you have any problem with me just a rogue?” Theodore asked.
“I won’t lie, but every father wants the best for her daughter, and you are anything but far away from BEST for both my daughters. The only reason I have accepted you because you will be staying with me as you don’t have your own individuality or a great career.”
