“Moon Goddess!! What happened to your hand?” Liara asked in tension when she saw a crepe bandage around Sophia’s right hand and wrist. She was taken aback to see that when everyone joined at the dinner table.
“She didn’t reply to me about it, but I heard a loud thud sound in the washroom,” Brandon replied. “So, I can guess what happened,” he added with a guilty look. “Je suis désolé, mon amour [I’m sorry, my love.] I promise I won't leave the wet washroom ever in my life.
“Don’t be sorry.” Sophia brushed the topic and looked at Theodore.
“I will take you to the doctor tomorrow, and I promise to do all your work, including wiping your buttock,” Brandon said to make up for the mistake that accidentally happened.
“What? Ewww!! Dad.” Tiara said, making a face while Sophia turned all red. “That’s so disgusting.” She complained. “How about hiring a caretaker for mom?”
“Love is not all about beautiful and fancy things, Tee!!” Brandon said, pulling a chair for Sophia and making her sit properly. Liara went to sit near her when Sophia signaled her to sit near Theodore, who was sitting in the middle chair, and Tiara was already settled on his left side.
Liara pressed her lips tightly and went to sit near Theodore.
“Moreover, when I can wipe the butts of my pups, who never stayed by my side, then why can’t I do the same for the woman who has been handling me for the last thirty-two years?” Brandon questioned Tiara before looking at Sophia, “Tonight, I will feed you.”
“This is not required,” Sophia said again. “I swear this pain is not because of you, so stop blaming yourself.”
“Then? What is the reason behind this pain?” He asked on which Sophia stayed mum, recalling the tight slap that she gave to Theodore. She didn’t know whether that Iron man felt anything or not, but she felt like she ended by breaking her hand. “Okay, don’t answer me. But trust me; I’m not doing this because of guilt. I’m doing this because I love you. Now come on, open your mouth.” Brandon said.
"Aww.. That's sweet. Babe!! Why don't you feed me too?" Tiara suggested, looking at Theodore, on which Brandon arched his eyebrows.
"Tee!! Sit near me; I will feed you too. I don't remember the last time I fed you." He said quickly. No matter how much Tiara wanted Theodore to feed him, the offer from Brandon was something that she couldn't say NO to.
"You too, Lee!!" Brandon added.
Theodore felt like an outsider between them, maybe because he was. But to be honest, he was observing something like this for the first time.
A family. A bond of fathers with their pups.
'We will feed our pups in the same way.' Inigo whispered in his mind.
"Don't be disheartened. I will feed you personally once my hand gets better." Sophia said.
"That's not required." Theodore was quick to decline that offer.
"Don't reject this offer, Babe. You have no idea what you're missing by saying NO. The food becomes a lot tastier when Mom feeds us." Tiara said and winked at him.
Theodore looked at Sophia, whose eyes were on him. He could bet that she was thinking about the tight slap that she gifted him.

"I think you know what exactly I want to know when I ask that answer, Theo. Lie to me, and I promise that you will never get a chance to see the face of your mates." Sophia warned.
Theodore took a deep breath and decided to go with the truth. "I'm the same person who is behind all the mess in Ever Green Pack, including almost killing your husband." He waited to receive any reaction from Sophia, but she didn't receive any because Sophia was busy thinking about how he survived when Liara killed him by shooting multiple silver bullets.
"I can't die with silver, and Lia knew that. That's why to keep me alive; she acted to kill me." Theodore explained her unasked question.
"You're the same janitor who received my call, don't you?" She asked because after talking with him, she felt like she had heard someone talking in the same tone. But she couldn't figure it out at that moment, but now things were more clear to her.
At the same time, Theodore realized how the human in front of him would have doubted him.

"Yes!!" Theodore nodded his head. That was it; Sophia slapped him as hard as she could. Theodore bet that he heard a crack sound of her bones.
"Damn!!" She hissed next in pain. "Why the hell Lee is not marked when you met her before?" She questioned in anger.
'Is she not mad at me for almost killing her husband?' Theodore wondered.
"Answer me, damn it!!" Sophia tried not to lose her cool. Because she knew Brandon could sense her emotions through mate bond. "I'm sure Liara didn't kick you out of her room because you stabbed my husband."
