'I'm just hurt.' Liara wanted to add because this information has nothing to do with Tiara. There was no reason to get jealous of her own sister. She was just hurt because of Theodore. She felt stupid and used.
She would have thought the same in the case of her sister only if Tiara wouldn't have been marked by him.
"Why did you reject him?" Tiara asked in a low tone, not able to understand the reason behind it.
"You're getting late." Liara reminded her to avoid answering her question. "Please leave me alone. And ask your mate to leave me alone too."
"You're hiding something from me, aren't you? What is it?" Tiara asked, ignoring her request. "Because I'm not leaving until you tell me the truth."
"Don't act like you care, Tee. You never did. You have always left me alone to deal with my things on my own, so stop this drama!! Now, stop testing my patience and GET OUT." She growled in anger.
Tiara wanted to argue with her on this, but she just couldn't because she knew her sister was right about the part where she always left her alone to deal with her own problem.
So, as usual, Tiara turned her heels and left from there.

"She isn't coming," Tiara informed her mate and observed how he didn't show any expression. There could be two reasons for his expression, one, he didn't care, and second, he already knew.
"Let's go then," Theodore mumbled because he didn't want to upset his other mate without any reason.
"Why did Lee reject you?" She asked while driving because no matter what, she just couldn't get over this information. She knew that her sister wasn't someone who rejected something or someone just at first sight.
*SILENCE*
"Why have you not accepted her rejection?” She asked next and waited for his answer.
“Because I want her in my life. I want both my mates in life, to be exact.” Theodore replied, looking at her. He knew Tiara was different from her sister, but that didn’t mean that he couldn’t give her a chance to understand her. “What do you want me to do? To accept her rejection?” he asked next, on which she shook her head.
“No. That will be so unfair to her.” Tiara replied though deep down she wanted him to reject her. She knew she was being selfish to think in that way, but who wouldn’t? Everyone was selfish and possessive of her things, so if she wanted the same, then there was nothing wrong with that.
‘Moon Goddess!! Pair Lee with someone else. I mean, I’m doing anything wrong here, am I? I didn’t ask Lee to reject Theodore or plan anything against them. I just hope Theodore would accept her rejection.’
“I was thinking that why don’t you stay here for a while and try to understand and make things right with Lee instead of going back to LA with me.” Tiara offered to Theodore. “Actually, when you were busy with mom. Dad called me and asked me if I could stay here for a while with you.” She said before explaining.
“He wants to know you in a better way, you know, to finalize other things, like our marriage and future plans,” She added,
“I can’t stay here because I have to return back to my shoot the day after tomorrow. That’s why if you don’t feel uncomfortable, then… you can stay here.” Tiara pointed out.
“Really?”
“I won’t lie that I want this. But at the same time, I know my parents will do this. So, yes!!” Tiara replied. ‘At the same time, I don’t want things to be worked out between you two. And I know it won’t if I will talk about it with my baby sister.”
“Thank you, Tiara,” Theodore said with a genuine smile. “I promise to win your parent’s heart and as well as my other mate’s heart,” he added, which sounded more like a plan. “By the way, what are your expectations from me as your mate?”
“Nothing much. I just want you to be supportive of my career and…. And I want you to be successful, too, because I don’t want to get embarrassed in front of others while introducing you. Please don’t take it the wrong way, okay?” Tiara said so that he wouldn’t feel bad. “These things are important in the human world. I mean, money, status, fame, etc., etc.”
Theodore tried to understand what she meant to say in a positive way.
“If I would have been staying in some pack between werewolves, then I would have expected my mate to be some Alpha of a big pack. You see, I mean Alpha female; anything less than that won’t match my standard. And for packed werewolves, rouge is a big NO. I’m glad that we will stay in the human world.” Tiara kept speaking about standards and kept giving him ideas about how he should start his career by motivating him that it was never too late to start afresh.
But Theodore recalled his conversation with Liara.
