Naina's POV
For the last two days he has been acting weird. The day I came home and he asked me about my whereabouts I wanted to change my decision and tell him everything truthfully and the truth was almost on my lips but the fear of loosing him stopped me and there was no point of telling him because Sameer was already out of our life. I just hope he understood what I said and never try to contact me.
Now I can finally be happy with the love of my life but for the past few days Ranveer is acting weird. Maybe he has work pressure.
I am finally relaxed after meeting Sameer in the restaurant.
I was very nervous to meet him after so many months but I had to do this.
Flashback.
"You are looking different," those are the first word he said to me as we took our seat in the restaurant.
I didn't reply anything.
"So, you are in love with him?" he asked coming straight to the point.
"Yes, I love my husband very much. You know the best things about him that he always cares of all my little needs, he always encourage me to do something in life and always increases my self confidence, he appreciates me and the little effort I put to make our relation stronger, he always shows me my worth and always tells me that I deserve every happiness in life," I said but he didn't say anything.
"As soon I entered the room you noticed that I changed, and I changed because of him. He made me happy, he made me a better human being," I finished and a small smile escaped my lips thinking about Ranveer.
"You really love him, right?" he asked and I nodded in a yes.
He placed his hand on my right hand and at that time the waiter came to took our order.
I tried to pull my hand but he made his grip tighter and gave a smile to the waiter.
He ordered two plates of pasta for us.
Ranveer always asks me before ordering something.
As soon as waiter left I pulled my hand away.
"Don’t touch me,” I warned.
I don’t like to be touched by him or any other man except for Ranveer.
"Don’t worry I will not do anything. You never loved me, right?" he asked.
"Did you ever love me Sameer?" I retorted back.
"Yes, I loved you and I still love you,” he confessed.
"No you didn’t. You don’t hurt the people you love, you never leave them in rain, you always care about their health, you always care about their well being,” I told him.
"I love you with whatever I have,” he said as he again tried to place his hand on my hand but I pushed his hand away.
"No Sameer, you never loved me. Maybe you THOUGHT you loved me but you never did and you know what I was also stupid to THINK that you loved me but Ranveer showed me what true love is. I don’t know you loved me or not, I don’t know you cared for me or not and you know what? Now I don’t want to know anything. Good bye and have all the pasta," I said and left the restaurant before he could say something.
Finally I was happy by saying everything to him on his face.
Today I can sleep peacefully.
I can’t wait to go and meet Ranveer and snuggle in his arms.
End of flashback.

The ringing of the doorbell pulled me out of my thoughts and I opened the door to see Ranveer with a bouquet of lilies.
I smiled looking at the lilies.
Sometimes even though his mood is not good but he never fails to have breakfast with me or give me flowers and I never fail to massage him.
It is OUR thing.
"Hectic day?" I asked as I put the bouquet in flower pot and he loosened his tie and nodded in a yes.
He changed his clothes and I massaged him and then he made two cups of coffee and gave him a coffee and sat beside him.
"Ranveer for the past few days you are not acting like yourself. Are you okay?” I asked.
"Work pressure,” he said the two words and again started having coffee.
It was not new for me.
For the past few days he was not talking with me properly, giving short answers to me.
"Did I do something wrong?" I asked.
"No, Naina,” he said as he finished the coffee and went to our room.
Again two words.
The dinner finished silently and we were on the bed.
I snuggled in his arms but he didn’t held me.
Maybe he has lost some deal or something.
I wanted to take his mind out of it.
I started to remove the buttons of his shirt but he pushed my hand.
"Not today, please," he said and I pulled my hand away.
I felt upset.
He never said no to me.
"Ranveer, you can share anything with me,” I said and he looked at me.
"You know Naina I hate liars,” he said suddenly.
What?
Why is he saying this suddenly?
"In my company one of my staff betrayed my trust and was giving the information to rival company. You know he was not my staff to begin with. He was acting like my staff to collect our company's information,” he said looking at me.
"So that made you upset? I know he betrayed you but please don’t be upset. There are some people in life who is not worth our trust,” I made him understood.
"Are you worth my trust, Naina?" he asked.
"Anyways, don’t answer that, I know that you are worth my trust so it will be 12.00 a.m. in few minutes and tomorrow is your birthday, right?" he asked and I was glad he remembered my birthday.
At exact 12.OO a.m. he wished me 'happy birthday' and went back to sleep.
I was disappointed. I thought he will at least give me a gift or something but he gave me nothing.
Forget about gift.
He didn’t even gave me a chocolate.
I remembered how I had made his birthday special and I don’t want him to do it for me just because I had did it.
I didn't wanted anything from him.
But at least he should have gave me a chocolate while wishing me.
Maybe he is upset today as his staff betrayed him and tomorrow he will surprise me.
Maybe tomorrow he will make my day special.
