Ranveer's POV
I was ringing the doorbell for the past few seconds but Naina was not opening the door.
I slightly pushed the door to see that the door was already open.
Maybe she has forgotten to close the door.
What would have happened if someone entered the house?
I have to talk with her.
This is so irresponsible of her.
I locked the door and went to our room.
The lights were off and only moonlight was coming from the window.
"Naina?" I called as I could not see her in the bedroom.
Then the bathroom door opened and Naina came in and she has wrapped herself in a white shawl.
Why has she wrapped herself ?
Slowly she came towards me and stood before me.
"Naina...
"Happy Birthday Ranveer," she said cutting me off and unwrapped the shawl and I could not believe my eyes.
She was looking so beautiful that I could not keep my eyes of her.
"Love, you made my birthday special. I can't take my eyes off you,” I said as leaned forward and claimed her lips.
A week gasp escaped as she stiffened. With a fierce hold I cupped the back of her neck and kissed her deeply but gently.
"Ranveer,” she called my name as we pulled apart.
I looked at her curves which were hiding behind the black lingerie she was wearing.
I never thought she will go out of her comfort zone and wear it just to make me happy.
"You are looking so beautiful baby,” I exclaimed.
"Ran..Ranveer..." she stuttered as she hugged herself tightly.
"Naina, calm down. If you are feeling uncomfortable you can change it," I said as I was feeling she was very uncomfortable.
"I...I.."
"What?" I asked.
"You..You don’t.." she was trying to say something but couldn't form it into words.
"What?" I asked again.
"Don't you remember what I said few days back?" she finally asked and then I realized what she was trying to say.
Oh my god!
"As soon I looked at you in this lingerie I forgot about everything,” I said as I pulled her towards me.
"So you are ready?" I asked playing with a strand of her hair.
"Please don't say things like this,” she said as she hid her face in my chest and I laughed.
"What? Today this is another best gift I have got and you are telling me to not talk about it?” I asked.
She has made my birthday so much special.
I will always remember this day.
"What's bothering you, sweetheart?" I asked and she looked at me and after few seconds she smiled.
"What?" I asked.
Sometimes what we leave in the past, stays in the past and doesn't matter in the future or present,” she said and I was confused.
"What are you saying?" I asked.
"Nothing," she said.
I didn't understand what she said.
I just called her 'sweetheart' and she started saying all the weird things.
"Ranveer, you showed me the true meaning of love. You showed me love is all about respecting each other and the decisions of our partner, it’s about caring for each other's wishes and it’s about loving each other as they are, including their flaws and weakness. Love helps us to be a better person and I get to know it because of you,” she said and I was speechless.
"Ranveer, you showed me my worth which nobody has ever showed me, not even my Dad,” she said and I could see drops of tears in her eyes.
"I love you,” I said as that was the only thing I could say at this Moment and I wiped the tears from her eyes which has rolled down her cheeks and pulled her in a hug.
I kissed her forehead.
"Ranveer.....I...I..am..I am.."
"You can tell me anything, baby,” I said.
"I...I...am afraid..I...I mean I don’t know...I mean I read somewhere....no...I heard somewhere..it hurts.." she was not able to form a proper sentence.
"Relax...Relax....You are afraid that it hurts, right?” I asked and she nodded her head in a yes.
"This is not only your first time, this is OUR first time sweetheart so we will take it slow, okay?" I asked and again she nodded her head in a yes.
"First, let's go and sit on the bed,” I said and we both sat on the bed.
We were both sitting on the bed silently.
"Let's get over with it,” she said after few seconds.
"What?" I asked.
"What?" she questioned back.
"Don't you want to do it? You are only doing it just because it's my birthday,” I asked.
"No..It's not like that, I want to do it.."
"Then why are you acting like it's a duty which you have to fulfill?" I asked.
"As your wife it is my duty to fulfill your sexual needs and I have made you wait for so many months,” she said.
"That's where you are wrong baby. Sex is not a duty or an obligation which you have to fulfill. It's a pleasure not only for me but for both of us. It's not only for my pleasure. It's for our pleasure."
"But Kamla aunty said it's a duty of a wife.."
"No sweetheart. I mean, yes, Kamla aunty is right but it's not only a wife's duty to fulfill husband's needs. It's husband's duty to fulfill wife's need. Sometime if I am not in mood and you want it you can talk about it to me and sometimes if you don't want it and I am in mood we can talk with each other," I explained.
"Baby we should talk freely with each other about whatever is going in our mind,” I continued.
"Kamla aunty told me that everything which we read or watch is a fantasy but in reality it is just a duty to please our husband. You showed me a different perception. I am so lucky that you came in my life,” she said but she didn't know that I was lucky to have her in my life.
"You know Ranveer, sometimes I used to think that how someone gets naked in front of their partner but never communicate with them, never shares their feeling, I mean you are baring your body in front of him and can't even communicate or share your feelings with them. What kind of intimacy is that? For me intimacy always meant connecting to each other in a deeper level, knowing what's going in their head, knowing what's making their heart cry.. I mean..." before she could say anything I pulled her and slammed my lips against her.
My hand work her their way around her body feeling each and every curve and then we pulled apart.
I kissed her not to shut her up but I couldn’t control myself knowing how much she is free with me to communicate so easily.
One of the many things I love about her is her thoughts.
How deeply she thinks.
How pure her thoughts are.
She does not fake her communications with me.
She is so deep and real.
I always wanted someone so pure, deep and real like her.
"I know I have met my match. I love you, Naina. For me communication in any relation is important. I always wanted someone real, I love how deeply you think, how genuine you are," I said and she smiled.
"Sometimes I used to read something or watch something, I had many thoughts regarding that particular chapter or scene but I had no one to share my thoughts with. I had no friends, no one. Yes Kamla aunty was there but I always knew she will not understand what I am thinking. Then you came in my life and now I am so happy that you are my friend, my companion, my life partner, my everything,” she said as I was caressing her hair.
"I can share my deep thoughts with you and I know you will always listen, I can do something crazy and I know you will never judge me, I wanted someone to love me as I am without changing me. I wanted someone to accept me as I am with all of my flaws and you are that person. You don’t even know how much I thank god that he sent you in my life,” she continued but before I could say something she captured my lips.
I was shocked for few seconds as this was the first time she had been so bold but then she pulled me closer. I let myself to sink deeper into the kiss and allowed my tongue to dance vividly with her.
