Ranveer's POV
Today I had bought a bouquet of yellow roses for her.
I rang the doorbell and was waiting for her to open the door.
She opened the door and there was not that usual smile on her face.
She tried to fake a smile but miserably failed.
"Are you fine?" I asked giving her the bouquet.
"Thank you,” she said with a small smile and took the bouquet from my hands and kept it in the flower pot.
"Are you fine?" I asked again.
"Yes, I am fine, it's just that my head is paining,” she said as we went to our room.
I got freshened up and changed my clothes and sat in front of her so that she could massage me.
"What are you doing tomorrow?" I asked and she stopped massaging my head.
"Why are you asking this suddenly?" she asked.
"It is just a simple question, Naina,” I said.
There was something odd about her.
Something I couldn't place my hand on.
"Tomorrow after lunch I will go to meet Kamla aunty and Dad,” she said and I turned around to look at her.
There was something different about her.
"Okay. Now let's go and have dinner,” I said and we went to have our dinner.
"So how's your painting going on? What are you painting nowadays?" I asked but she was deeply immersed in thoughts.
"I am drawing a picture of few puppies in a basket,” she told me and today for the first time I saw a genuine smile on her face.
She really loves to paint.
"Wow! That's great,” I said and we finished our dinner and she washed the dishes and I cleaned the dining table.
After finishing our work we both went in the bedroom and she freshened up and changed into the night suit.
As she sat on bed while scrolling through her mobile I decided to distract her by biting her earlobe and after few seconds I snuggled into her neck and I could smell the fragrance of lavender and nowadays I could not control myself whenever I touch her.
I tried to kiss her but she pushed me.
"Not today, please,” she said and I nodded my head in understanding.
"Okay Goodnight. Go to sleep,” I said and decided to sleep.
“Are you angry?” she asked as she pulled me towards her and snuggled in my arms.
""It's okay love. I understood you are not in mood and I will never force you,” I said truthfully.
"I love you,” she confessed making me smile as I kissed her cheeks and after some time fell into a deep slumber.

Next day I was driving towards home when I saw Naina in front of Srishti hotel.
I had finished my work early and decided to go early and have some rest as I was tired after attending three meetings back to back.
"Maybe she is meeting Kamla aunty here,” I thought but then I saw a guy came and they both went inside the restaurant.
Who is this guy?
If she wanted to meet her friend she should have told me.
Why did she lie to me?
Maybe there was a sudden change of plans but at least she should have called me to inform
They were sitting across the corner and I could see them through the glass.
I could not see his proper face but he seemed to be her age.
The waiter arrived and he kept a hand on Naina's hand and they were looking very happy and comfortable with each other.
I decided to go and meet her but I will talk with her when she gets home.
There was only one question lingering in my mind.
Did she lie to me?

I went home and decided to freshen up. I switched on the television and was watching news but I was not able to focus on the news playing in front of my me as my whole mind was on Naina.
There were many questions playing in my head but I had no answers.
After almost scrolling through all the news channel I felt the main door opened and after few seconds Naina came inside.
"Hi. You are home early?" she asked as she saw me and came and sat beside me.
"I finished my work early. Where had you gone?" I asked.
"Have you forgotten? I had told you today I will go to meet Kamla aunty,” she said and I was hurt.
Why are you lying Naina?
"So enjoyed yourself with Kamla aunty?" I asked giving more emphasis on 'Kamla aunty.'
Who was he ?
"Yes. So where is my bouquet?" she asked and I showed her the flower pot where I had kept a bouquet of red roses.
"I love you, Naina,” I said looking at her.
"I love you too,” she said as she came and snuggled in my arms.
How can you say you love me Naina when you are lying to me and roaming around with some guy?
Then after some time she went to kitchen to make coffee for us.
I followed her.
"So what did Kamla aunty said?" I asked and she stopped what she was doing and looked at me.
"Not..hing... just the usu..al," she stuttered and I went and stood beside her.
"Why are you nervous Naina?" I asked.
"Kamla aunty was asking the usual, how's our married life going and all that,” she said and she went back to her work.
"Okay,” I said and went outside the kitchen and sat on the sofa.
Today you betrayed my trust by lying to me Mrs. Naina Singhania.
