"Sir" Kim called carefully, tapping him lightly when he refused to wake.
"What? I thought I made myself clear earlier so I wouldn't be disturbed?" I ask, still not opening my eyes.
"I..I am sorry sir but we are about to land."
At that my eyes snap open. "Quickly, go inform Catherine" having said that I brought out my laptop, hiding my excitement.
Just then while Kim was leaving from my side Catherine came out from the room. I was expecting a "Hey have you been up all through but that didn't happen. Instead she went to meet Kim.
Straining my ear, I try to eavesdrop on their conversation while pretending to focus on the screen of my laptop.
Whatever she is saying seems quite serious because her countenance changed afterwards. Straining my ear further I tried to listen but nothing, they were whispering.
"I wonder what she must be saying with Kim."
But then she leaves her and goes to the bathroom. This time, I hope when she returns she comes straight to me and sits beside me so I can feel her warm and soft skin close to mine and of course, inhale her Incredible sweet smell of her essence.
"What have you been up to?" She asks standing right in front of him and still not sitting after clearing the seat. "What is her problem?" I wonder.
"As you can see I'm working" I said with a harsh tone, angry at how stubborn she can be. Because, instead of her sitting on the chair, she prefers to stand there questioning me.
"Or did she by chance hear my conversation with Kim? But if that is the case, I didn't say anything that would need her to question me out loud. “Or Did Kim by chance say something rude to her?" All these questions left me confused. So I decided to observe her reaction.
"Okay so what are you working on now, I guess it is part of the reason we're going to Korea right?"
In order not to aggravate her more I just replied with a nod and let out a sigh of frustration. "How will I tell her the true reason for the trip without her getting annoyed?"
"Well, we're about to land at the airport and we haven't talked much since we embarked on this journey and to be honest with you. I'm really bored so since you won't talk to me then I'll just talk about my childhood dream of visiting Korea one day and you can just listen while I do the talking. Now that my dream is becoming a reality you don't know how excited I am, I can't wait to see the beautiful cities and tasty food that they have there.." she said so excitedly, she's such a cute lady sometimes she acts so mature and other times like this she acts really childish but it was becoming annoying so I had to end it
"You know we're going there for my business right?" I said with a low tone although loud enough for her to hear but I guess she pretended not to because that was not the response she wanted to get
"I said I'm going there for a business trip and you're only tagging along with me because I asked you to keep quiet and talk when I ask you to and now, only when we get there. I shouted so loudly that the lousy Kim had the opportunity to come to me again with an excuse of caring to know what is wrong"
"Mr. Adam, is there a problem?" Kim asks, standing too close to me where Catherine is meant to be, which I have no idea why she is still standing by the way.
"It's alright Kim, I just need to rest. My mind has been everywhere recently so I guess I'm feeling overwhelmed but I'll be fine" I said pretending to smile so my acting can be believable.
But Kim took it up on another level, I don't know whether to thank her or push her out of the plane like I wish to
"Okay sir, if you say so. Please take care of yourself. we're all concerned about you and your health is very important. Let me help you fasten your seatbelt."
Before I knew it, she was already leaning towards me with her large breast. For the sake of making Catherine jealous I decided to go with the flow but wondering the whole time what the hell is wrong with Kim today, acting like she has lost a screw in her brain.
Ignoring Kim with her problem, I focus my gaze on my laptop all the while watching Catherine from the corner of my eyes to see her reaction.
The look on her face was priceless. I almost laughed but I suppressed it immediately.
But my satisfied mood didn't last long as Catherine lost her step.
Acting fast I held on to her hand, "Phew!" I'm glad I was fast enough because I would not have forgiven myself if something had happened to her.
"Watch where you're going, and what happened to the seat beside you? After all, you removed the documents that I placed there and I thought you wanted to sit beside me" I said, still holding on to her soft hands.
This is the longest sentence I've said to her without shouting or being rude. I hope she listens to this once and comes to sit beside me even if it will be for a short while since we're about to land.
"Thank you but I'd like to sit close to the window instead" and with that she removed her hand from mine, dusting her clothes like she was removing my scent from her or something.
The pain I felt after hearing those words broke my heart in a million pieces and it is all my fault for playing a stupid prank. I'll have to be the one to bring back the smile on her pretty face
"Okay, please fasten your seatbelt" was the least nice thing I could say at that moment because seeing how sad she was made me feel really weak inside as I walked back to my seat and close my laptop because I couldn't keep up the act of ignoring her and I just wanted to leave the plane quickly.
