It was morning already. It felt like I sleep for just an hour. Nate was still sleeping soundly with his arm around my waist.
"Nate, I need to get to the bathroom," I whispered my words and took his arm off of me. He moved and turned to the other side while mumbling something in his sleep. Then he was back to making his adorable snoring sound. His naked back and plump ass were on full display for me.
Damn...I shouldn't be having these thoughts while he was sleeping. Not after all the vigorous sex that we just had last night...tone it down girl!
I reluctantly got up and went to the bathroom. Then I decided to make coffee for both of us. I was wearing my usual pink pajama set and pink fuzzy slippers when he entered the kitchen in just his boxers. The boxers which were hanging too low for my view, I could see his sexy trails that made me bite my lip.
"Morning baby. Please don't bite your lip like that, all you got to do is ask. Mmm...you don't even have to ask apparently." He was behind me, grinding me with his morning boner.
I was giggling as he kissed the back of my neck playfully, then I offered him a cup of coffee. "I'm going to Novelty and meet up with Archie, are you going to your brother's or will you stay here with me, until you get back to the city?"
"I'm liking the idea of being your stay-at-home boy toy, but my brother is coming later this afternoon. I'm going to his place and restocking his fridge. Then I'm introducing you to him and his family, maybe over dinner. I'll pick you up at six?" He asked as he rests his back on the kitchen counter, and drink his coffee lazily.
"Mmm...you're making me nervous here Nate. What if they didn't like me? What if I'm not sophisticated enough for them? I just a high school graduate." I asked him as I played with my cup of coffee, then drank it nervously.
"Hey, you're judging them already by saying so, Marissa. Look, it's up to you. I'm not going to push you. We can go as slow as you want, as long as I can have you and love you at the same time I'm good. I just thought you might want to meet my family since I've already met yours." He was smiling, but I could tell from his voice that he was disappointed.
"I'll think about it. I'll let you know when I get back from Novelty?" I kissed his cheek and he smiled at me. We talked some more, then he finally went to his brother's.
We kind of left the conversation hanging. His mood had obviously changed since I said that I was reluctant to meet his family. I really didn't have any experience in this kind of stuff. But I really think that he was definitely scarred, from his previous relationship.
I know he said that he loves me too, but to that, I also didn't have anything to compare it with, but from my romance fictional books.
Argghh...this is too much thinking for my brain in the morning.
I decided to take a shower and went to Novelty. I met Archie as he opened his shop. We sat and talked about my dad, and I finally told him about my story.
"Oh Marissa, if only I knew. But I'm glad you're good now. So, you're with Nate now? He's a good fellow. He may seem like a loner, but he actually is very friendly towards other people here. He likes to come here on the weekends. I think you're far better than that woman, that he brought a couple of months back. She was one of those city folks, that are too expensive for this place. Maybe you're a little young for him, but I couldn't say anything about that, since I'm dating Alice now." He smiled smugly at me, looking proud of himself.
"Oh my god! Archie, seriously are you even still allowed to date?" I laughed and hugged him while saying that I was happy for him. Alice turned out to be twelve years younger than Archie, but he told me that they just clicked.
"Now about the book and cafe thing, it's a done deal. We dealt with the pricing intimately..." He was smirking and like a badass school jock.
"Eeewww my god...Archie, please! Spare me the details! I'll help you out with the start-up for the first few months, then I'm going back to accompany my dad in the city. Maybe take a few short courses to fill my time, while I'm waiting for next year's college enrolment. Maybe I'm going back and forth here, to check on you and Alice. But this is not a farewell. You will still see me lurking around town." We talked more while attending to a few customers, then Alice came and we laughed and discussed further about the cafe and bookshop theme.
It was well after five when I finally got back to my place. I was passing his brother's place. I could see him drinking beer by the patio, with another man. I'm assuming that's the brother. Then he saw me, I just nodded and smiled back at him.
I decided that I would come to his brother after all. I was going to bring the cake, that I just got from Alice. I told her that I was invited to Nate's brother, and she told me to just jump right in and meet with them. And she offered me her famous dessert, which she knows was his brother's favorite.
I was going to surprise Nate by coming there. So I took a shower and put on my most grown-up set of casual date clothes. I also bought a grown-up sexy underwear when I was in the city last week, so I put that underneath my sleek sleeveless long pants jumpsuit and wear it with my favorite flats.
Nate didn't call or text me after this morning. He was really upset. I really must've hurt his feelings. It was seven when I knocked at his brother's front door. It took a while, I almost turned back went back to the cottage. Then a very beautiful woman, with a little boy in her arm greeted me.
"Oh my god! You must be her! You looked so young and beautiful! Marissa right? Shoot! Nate is gonna flipped when he knows, that you're here. He has been talking about you for hours now. Come in...please, I'm Adriana and this is Owen." I hadn't said anything she kept on blurting out her words. So I just held out my hand for her to shake, but she pulled me in for a hug, along with Owen apparently.
But then Owen decided to latch himself to me. "Mommy she smells nice. I like her!" Then we both laughed at him. I gave her the cake as I took Owen in my arms.
"Not too long now Owen, you're getting bigger. You're not a baby anymore, you don't get to be carried around everywhere. Is it okay Marissa? Just tell me if he's too heavy for you okay? Come let's take this cake to the kitchen. How do know this is Alex's favorite?" She kept on talking. She was very friendly towards me, I was glad that I came. Alice was right, thank God I decided to talk to her.
Then Nate saw me, he smiled at me immediately and came rushing to me. He was about to kiss me when Owen patted his chest. "No! Uncle Nate, she's mine! She smells nice!" Then we all laughed.
Another man came into the room he looked familiar like I'd seen him somewhere. Then he introduced himself to me, then I finally recognized him as I shook his hand.
"Dad!" That was when Owen decided to wiggle himself out of my arms. He took his father's arm, and pulled him to the kitchen, making him hunch his walk to pace himself with the little boy. While Owen was busy telling him, that I brought his favorite cake.
"Finally! I thought I never get to kiss you until the end of the night. Thank you for coming baby. I didn't realize it earlier, but this actually means a lot to me." Then he kissed me slowly, and passionately. He was giving me all his loving feeling in that one kiss.
"I love you too Nate." As I sighed and stay in his embrace for a while. Until Adriana called out for us to join them for dinner.
