I didn't expect them to still be at the house. Pamela was trying hard to apologize to dad, while Jennifer and Jessica were trying to help with his bag, as they pulled it away from me roughly.
She quickly ushered dad to his office and I was left awkwardly alone with the twins. Seconds later they instantly dropped his bags, seeing that he was no longer in the room. I went to the other side of the room and quickly called Albert, he picked up at the second tone.
"Albert, I thought you said that you took care of them? Did you know they're here now? Pamela is talking to dad in his home office as we speak." I informed him as the twins were looking eagerly behind my back. I looked in their direction seeing Nate enter the room with my bags.
God damn it.
Albert apologized to me and said he would come and meet with us. He told me to hold them there, so he could push her to sign the paperwork.
"Hey baby, is everything okay?" Nate came in my direction with my bag. The twins were looking at us intensively.
"I'm good. Dad is in his office with Pamela, my stepmom. Their mom." I whispered my last words to him. He smiled and chuckled and kissed my temple. I could see Jenn and Jess were looking envious of me. But I really didn't care, I just want them out of the house.
"So, where do I put your bags?" He asked casually.
"Hey, sis. Who's this? Aren't you going to introduce him to us?" Jenn was looking at him winking her eyes, while Jess was already walking towards him swaying her hips.
Oh, God! These girls...
"Nate, these are my younger stepsisters Jennifer and Jessica. Girls, this is Nate." I'm not giving him the boyfriend title, I really didn't want the girls to snatch him, just because he is mine.
"Oh we assure you, we are older and more experienced than her in some way." Jessica reached him and trailed his arm with her fingers. I was boiling inside, but I tried to hold it in.
"Yeah, I could see that. But I don't want to mess with minors. Besides I belong to your lovely older sister. So, sorry...I'm taken, girls. You should hang with boys your age. Seriously, don't grow up too fast. Enjoy your childhood for as long as you can." He told them and then patted Jessica's head.
Oohhh....burnnn...that's got to hurt.
I could see her fuming and Jenn was red, she was looking at me like she could kill me right now. I was smiling smugly at them.
Finally after two years!
Then dad walked towards us. He definitely heard Nate's telling off the girls.
"Nate is right girls, both of you can start by dressing age appropriately. With the alimony that I will provide your mom, it should be enough for a makeover." He told them as he signed all three of them to sit.
Oohhh double burn...this is the best day ever!!
"Now Marissa honey you can take my bag to my room and you can also unpack yours, Nate why don't you help her. I'll wait for Albert here with them, he texted me saying he's on his way here." He sat down with them. Pamela looked at me full of hate in her eyes.
"Come, baby, show me to your room," Nate whispered huskily in my ear. I smiled at him as he took my hand in his and started carrying all the bags. We put dad's bag in his room, then we headed to mine. My room was moved to the far corner of the house when the twins moved in.
Nate was already arching his eyebrow. He was amazed at the rows of rooms that we passed by until we reached mine.
"Wow, you weren't kidding about your dad. You even got the furthest room in the house." I just shrugged at his words, then he pulled me in for a deep kiss as we got to my room.
"You are the strongest beautiful woman that I've ever met. I'm sorry all of this happened to you. But I'm truly not sorry that all of this leads to our meet, although it was in such a horrible condition." He laid my head to his chest. I stayed there as I inhaled his scent, and was engulfed in his embrace.
I started to feel things for him. Things that according to my romance books led me to love. I wasn't sure, I just hope that I wasn't the only one that had these feelings.
"So, you want to go back down now? Or do you want us to make out in your childhood bed and make one of my fantasies come true?" He asked with his sexy bedroom voice, making me sigh.
"As tempting as it sounds, I don't like leaving dad alone with them for too long. We can always make out later." I winked at him as I pulled his head down and nibbled on his lip before he opens his mouth and devoured my lips. His hand cupped my jaw while his thumb caressed my cheek slowly. His kisses were deep and passionate, slow, and inviting.
"Baby, we need to go down now, or we're going to end up naked. God...you feel so good little one." He finally peeled himself off of me. I staggered back, making him chuckle seeing my state of arousal.
We finally get back to my dad, after I quickly freshen up in my bathroom. Albert was already there, they were arguing about me. Pamela looked furious at me.
"How do you know that I caused the bruises? She runaway and came back with an older guy. That should say something about her personality." I could feel Nate was getting tense beside me. Dad was running his hand through his hair, he looked frustrated.
"Albert, please tell me if you needed to get the police involved in this matter. I know a guy, I could give a statement. I saw her bruises the day she was going to commit suicide. I could easily make it hard for her. I personally think we should put her in jail and forget about the paperwork." He looked straight at Pamela, while he kept on rubbing my arm.
Dad looked at Nate, I could see that he finally relaxed. And tugged the end of his lip upward. Then Albert looked at my dad.
"So? You want to go to the police then?" Albert finally asked dad.
"Well it's up to you Pamela, I'm done with you. I don't like to drag this on, but if you're being stubborn then jail time it is. I don't like wasting my time talking to you. So you can go now, I'll deliver everything to your new address, just contact me through Albert." Dad slowly got up and walked to us.
"Come, Nate, you just become my favorite person, well except for you Marissa. Let's go and make some coffee, we're going to let Albert finish up with them. Come join us when you're done, Albert." He patted Nate's arm and walked to the kitchen with me and Nate following behind him.
