"OH MY GOD SARAH HOW DID IT happen? I mean I know the how I'm just surprised, what led to it?" Imaani exclaimed loudly to her friend who was sitting across from her narrating how her night after their clubbing went.
Sarah had slept with Jax's new driver, Mateo. She had no idea what led to it all she knew was he dropped her off, she invited him in after so much ogling during the ride to her place. He came in she offered him a drink and according to Ms Levington he gave her the best head and sex she's ever had.
Cherry on top.
He slept over till the next morning made her breakfast before he dropped her off at Imaani's place on his way back to work.
"Wow" Imaani exclaimed loudly after hearing her friends explanation.
She had no idea how to tell her best friend that she almost had sex with their boss after he made her breakfast then ate her out like she was his last meal in her room.
"It was a one time thing we didn't exchange numbers" Sarah said trying to get over the fact that she would not be seeing the man that had fucked her so good last night, anymore.
"Atleast one of us got laid, I don't even want to hear or remember the embarassing things I must have done last night" Imaani groaned out placing her face in her hands
"Well for one you told our boss he is a handsome arrogant son of a gun" Sarah stated slowly while laughing.
'Noo!." Imaani exclaims in shock "You're joking right? Please tell me what you just said was a joke"
There's no way in hell she would have said that shit right? I mean she was actually drunk as hell. Fuck!.
"Trust me I'm only telling you the pretty stuff" Sarah laughed as she made her way into the kitchen to get them snacks.
Imaani groaned out in embarrassment. She knew she was an ugly drunk or atleast she heard. Usually drinking with Faye always led to Faye recording her embarassing moments. Atleast that happened once, during her break up with her boyfriend from high school. She had gone to Faye's house covered in ruined mascara and ugly tears. Her friend had consoled her with alcohol and junk food.
Thinking about it now Imaani had found it weird that Faye didn't drink or indulge herself in junk food that night. Then she just brushed it off as her friend been cautious of her weight.
She shakes her head as if trying to get rid of the ugly thoughts. Mostly not to dwell on her friend or ex friend rather.
"Hey," Sarah called "out I've been calling you, you kinda spaced out"
"Yeah sorry i got distracted" she replied
"Hm thinking about all the good sex you and boss man had huh?" Sarah asked jokingly. But the expression her friend had, made her think it really happened.
"Wh-what are you talking about?" Imaani let out a weird laugh
"Oh my God!. You fucked him didn't you?" Sarah asked loudly with a big smile on her face, as she moved closer to where her friend sat.
"No" Imaani replied shortly trying to sound more cofident as she looked everywhere else apart from her friend eyes.
Key word: trying
"Spill,now!"
Sarah demanded immediately. She couldn't believe her best friend could hide such a thing from her. She just hoped she had a very good reason.
"We didn't have sex" Imaani stated hoping that will lead her friend away
but i wish we did.....
"Okay? Then what?" She knew something must have happened between them.
"Heatemeout!" Imaani rushed out speaking rubbish in the process.
"Girl don't fucking play with me! Tell me. You're killing with all these suspense"
"He ate me out. Ya happy now" Imaani replied. Blushing as she remembered her encounters with her boss from the other night.
It was at this moment she was once again happy to be black, she knew fully well how pink her cheeks might probably get if she was white. And she was not ready to go through that with Sarah right next to her.
She knew fully well that Sarah would never let her hear the end of it.
"How was it?" Sarah asked, smiling sheepishly.
Okay that was not the reply Imaani was expecting
"What?"
"You heard me? Tell me was it good?"
"I'm just shocked, that was not what i was expecting"
"You're joking right," Sarah asked "Wait were you expecting me to judge you?
Surely Imaani didn't expect her to judge what she did.
"I mean yeah, I almost had sex with our boss"
"So? To be honest,If you ask me I'm more like a proud mother right now" She replied with a wide grin.
"What?" Imaani asked confused
"Oh please, anyone and i mean anyone can sense the obvious sexual tension between you two. And to top it off with that offer he made you, phew" Sarah said the last part while wiping imaginary sweat off her forehead.
This woman and her dramatics. She never seizes to amaze her. Imaani thought to herself
"So you're not grossed out or anything of the sorts?" Imaani had to ask to be sure
"What!" Sarah exclaimed "grossed out why? We're not children Imaani, besides i ship both of you together"
Imaani looked confused" You what?"
Sarah released a defeating sigh "We really need to work on your social media skills. Anyway that's besides the point Is that why you didn't tell me sooner? Because you thought i might judge you?"
"Kinda" Imaani stated lowly. Now that she thought of it she was dissapointed in herself for thinking that way.
She knew Sarah wasn't like that, she had no idea where the doubts were appearing from.
"I'm sorry" Imaani replied to her friend immediately, suddenly feeling bad for thinking that way
Sarah explained to her friend that there was no way she would judge her now or ever, highest she would do was give her opinion about a situation but never judge.
The two friends talked more about how they should not hide things from each other in the future and must talk to the other first before assuming the worst.
Imaani was glad that both of them could talk stuff out and even become closer from it. Instead of going into a fit and bickering like an old couple.
They didn't say it to each other, but both of them were glad they found the other.
Lord knows they needed each other in this crappy world.
