Dylan Lemiere
Me and the other businessman were talking until someone called Christian. His face became pale and he ended the call right away.
"Is everything okay?"
"Not with my sister." He said and then he walked out. I automatically followed him out and he waited for his car to come.
"I'll go with you." I said and he nodded. Suddenly my heart was beating really fast. What's wrong with Lauren? Gosh.. We do have to keep our eyes on her everytime or something goes wrong.
"What happened to her?"
"Nial said she kept puking and puking.. he brought her to the hospital right away along with Matt and Aiden." Lauren.. What did you do this time? Christian speed up his car towards the hospital that Nial told him. He already put it on GPS so.. he's just following it.
As soon as we arrived at the hospital, he parked really quickly and we literally ran towards the emergency room. I looked around and saw Matt currently in the administration desk.
"Where's Lauren?" Christian asked and Matt pointed at the bed. Christian ran there and I turned to Matt.
"What happened to her?"
"I think.. food poisoning. She puked not long after she drinks a lot of alcohol."
"Did she eat? I don't think I see her eating."
"She ate while you're busy." Matt said and then he gestured me to check on her. I walked towards her bed. I looked at her sleeping and her face is really pale. Nial sat beside the bed holding her hand.
She was with Nial earlier too..
"Did you tell my parents?" Christian asked Nial.
"No.. Just you because we don't want them to panic." Nial answered and Christian nodded.
"She will be alright, we will move her to the VIP room after this." Matt said.
"Thanks." Christian said.
"Yeah, you're welcome." Matt patted Christian's shoulder. He took a deep breath. He called someone.
"Where are you? Are you with dad? Lauren's sick, she got food poisoning.. she's in the hospital." Christian said.
"What did she eat earlier?" I asked and Nial turned to me.
"Cakes.. lots of it."
"Cakes? She eats a lot of cakes?" I asked disbelief. Lauren likes cake but she's quite picky. She only likes her favorite brand of cake, not just random. She has a lactose intolerance too.. gosh, Lauren.
"She has lactose intolerance." Christian sighed and that's what I said in my head earlier.
"I saw her eating.. spaghetti and lasagna too." Matt said.
"Carbonara." Christian sighed and then his phone rang and it's his dad. He walked away.
"You all smell like alcohol." I said as I looked at all of them.
"We were drinking.. is that a crime?" Aiden asked and I think he's a little bit drunk.
"Don't tell me that you two drove your car here?"
"We took a taxi, don't worry." Matt said and I sighed in relieve.
"It's late, you guys can go take a rest. I'll take care of my sister." Christian said as he stood beside me.
"You sure? I can be with you."
"Nah.. My parents will come here." He said and Matt patted his shoulder.
"We'll come tomorrow to check on her again." He said to Chris.
"Okay. Thanks."
"Let's go buddy." Matt said poking me and I nodded lightly. I looked at Lauren one more time before leaving.
"Nial.. you can go." I heard Chris say it when I turned my body around planning to leave her.
"I'm going to stay here until your parents come, I'm a little bit worried about her." I heard Nial say and I scoffed.
"Okay then.." Matt grabbed my arm and Aiden's arm. He dragged us out and called a taxi. We all got into the taxi and Matt told the taxi driver our hotel address. I kept looking out the window and sighed.
"You know.. if you are worried, you can go back there." Matt said.
"Dylan? You worried about Lauren?" Aiden asked and I glared at Matt.
"You're not worried?" I asked Aiden.
"Worried, of course but now she's fine so.. I'm not anymore."
"She will kick your damn ass if she hears this." Matt chuckled.
"You know.. you can stay if you're worried." Matt stopped me and I shook me head. He patted my shoulder and I pushed it away. I walked away first and took a taxi towards my hotel.
I got into my hotel room and sat on the edge of the bed.
"She has her brother and Nial anyway." I shrugged and decided to take a shower.
"She has her brother and Nial.. She has her brother and Nial." I repeated while I'm in the shower.
"She has her brother and Nial." I said it again.. I put on my clothes and walked out back to my room.
"She has her brother and Nial." Okay.. I'm repeating it like a broken CD. I cursed myself again and again.. I pressed Christian's phone number.
"Hey, what's up?"
"Is she awake?"
"She won't be awake until tomorrow morning, the doctor gave her a medicine and it contains something that makes her have a lot of sleep." Christian said.
"Oh.. I'll just go there in the morning then."
"Okay, dude." He ended the call when I was going to say something. I was speechless.
I threw my phone to the bed and threw myself after that. I looked up the ceiling.. well.. let's just sleep and check on her tomorrow. I got into the blanket and closed my eyes. I kept tossing to the right and then to the left.. to the right again..
"Dylan Lemiere, get your head straight! She has her brother and Nial." I said to myself and again.. I still can't sleep.
