I took a deep breath of relief when I'm done with my work. I got up from my seat and stretched my body. I took my phone and wallet from the table and walked out from my office.
I saw Matthew and my dad still working and I just decided to go home first. When I got into my car, I felt like drinking suddenly. I drove my car to my usual club. I took out my gold card and got out of my car. I walked in and walked into the lift, slid my card and went up.
I walked into our private room and guess what.. I found Lauren in a drunken state.. alone and she was crying. She looked up to me and pouted.
"What did Blane do this time?" I asked as I sat across her. I took a new glass and opened a new bottle of alcohol. I poured into my glass and put some ice in it.
"He didn't answer my messages and calls." She cried and I closed my eyes.
"You want to get back with him?" I asked and she looked at me without any expression.
"No.. I mean yes.. no.." She's completely drunk and she cried more. I grew up with this girl and I always have a soft spot for her besides my own sister. Lauren is different than Crystal, Joan, Autumn and Cailey.
Joan, Crystal, Autumn and Cailey are strong girls. They're strong in and out.. they can be fierce and feisty.. a real one but not Lauren. We can say that she has her mom's character. She tried to look strong outside but the real thing is that she's a real softie.
She acts like she's okay but the truth is she doesn't. No wonder Marco always have a crazy soft spot for her. She looks strong but she's a fragile girl.. that's Lauren. People might be intimidated by her eyes and bitchy look.. that's why they often called her sexy, bitch and fierce but she's none of that.
That's why people often tried to bully her.. sometimes she showed her fragile side instead her stronger side. No wonder Christian had detention all the time, he stood for her sister secretly.. even his parents didn't know the reason why he got so many detentions.
She acted like she can protect herself but the truth she doesn't. She has skills but at some point.. she needs someone.
I found myself getting up from my seat and sat beside her. I pulled her head to lean to my shoulder and she cried. I put my arm around her shoulder and patted it.
"There there.. want me to kill him later on?" I asked, trying to cheer her up.
"Yes please.." She said and I stroked her hair.
"Thank God you're here.. I'm lonely." She said in a painful tone. Where are her brothers? What an asshole!
"I'm here.. you can cry everything out."
"I look so so.. so.."
"There there.. that's okay."
"No one wants to listen to me." She cried again.
"I'll listen to you." I said and she looked up to me.
"Really?"
"Yeah, I'll listen to you and cheer you up." I said and when I say that.. I really mean it. I care for her and everyone in the 7 Gold Kids care for her but sometimes we have our own business to take care. I bet if she calls one of the girls.. they will come for her right away.
"Really? You're serious? You're not lying right?" She asked and I looked straight to her eyes.
"Yes.. Lauren.. should I write it and stamp it with my blood?" I asked.
"No.. I'm drunk.. I might forget this." She whined and I chuckled.
"I won't.. Don't worry."
"You're the best.. I always like you." She said and snuggled to me more. I patted her head and she drank a little bit of the alcohol again.
"I didn't do anything wrong.." She mumbled.
"He's an asshole.. that's all."
"How about you?" She asked.
"What about me?"
"Will you hurt a girl like that later on in the future?" She asked and answered that question.. I don't know.
"I don't know." I said truthfully.
"Will you date me?" That made my body freeze completely. I swear.. that question got me good.
"Forget it.. why would you date me? You always called me annoying and a child.. You like mature women, right? I think you should date someone 20 years older." She's starting to say something weird. I rolled my eyes.
"You won't hurt me right?" What's with her question?
"I don't know." I said and she sat up straight. She opened her leather jacket revealing her in her black tanktop. She leaned back again to me and I cursed this girl right away.
"I was so happy to kiss you 2 weeks ago." Why is she so honest when she's drunk.
"Happy? Why?"
"I have always had a crush on you since we were kids." Well that's not shocking.. sometimes she said that in front of people. I didn't take it seriously because she loves to joke around.. just like Crystal saying that she's pregnant with Andrew or Daniel.
"Kissing you was my dream." She giggled and this girl is damn drunk.
"Am I a good kisser?"
"You're better than Blane.. can you not tell Blane about it?" She turned to me and smiled cutely. She will regret everything tomorrow morning. I'm so sure of it.
"I won't tell Blane, he's an asshole."
"Thank you.. oh.. I want to dance downstairs.. and why is it so hot?" She sat up straight almost taking her tank top off. I stopped her and can't believe this girl.
"Dylan!" She protested but I trapped her in my arms so she won't get into trouble.
"Don't even think about it."
"It's hot.. like a dessert here." She whined and I took ice and put it into her mouth.
"It's cold!"
"It's better than you take off your shirt here!" I hissed.
"Oh come on.. it's not your first time seeing me in my bra.. We trained togetherrrrrrrrr." She whined.
"Try me."
