Chapter 36
"Very well master." He bows before taking long strides out of the hall with Czar rolling his eyes to the back of his head,
"I do not know why you agreed to this, she would only cause more trouble for us." He still stands on his point but Mace isn't paying attention to him anymore, he could feel Loki's pain as he hadn't been himself the last few days. From Sheila to the woman, he was dried emotionally but he kept it to himself.
If this could give his brother a bit of pleasure then he could at least fulfil this demand of his. Loki had always fulfilled everything he had asked for, so he needed to return the favor.
He comes back in, holding her by her shoulders and gently guiding her down the throne room. Her eyes was darting everywhere; taking in as much as she could. It was like she was a child trapped in a woman's body.
"Where are you taking me?" She demanded to know as she was starting to fear, "let's go back." She begs him but he pets her to calm her down,
"Relax..... they're good people, they won't hurt you." His voice puts her at ease, and she decides to trust him but she was also holding on to him tightly, knowing he would defend her if anything happened.
They reach Mace and she is cowering behind his structure, she was rather tall but at least she could still hide behind him, she was shivering like a wet cat in the cold, she couldn't look at the dangerous glint in Mace's eyes.
"Here she is Mace....." He tries to give a convincing smile but his brother knew he was cracking on the inside, "let Master see you..." He tries to pull her from his back but she was clutching into his skin so tightly it felt he would begin to bleed, "she's still very scared." His voice was already cracking but he still hid it well enough for only Mace to notice, "let him see you Orla, he won't hurt you..." He gently pulls her from his back and she is complying.
She moves ever so slowly but when she does come out, Mace's mouth drops slightly, and so does Czar, but Loki knew what that meant so he hid her back again.
"Master please.....she's not stable....." He begged with his eyes and Mace had to control himself, but Czar wasn't putting any restrictions on his urges, "and she is quite aged....about in her fifties." He brings her out and she is standing in front of him.
She is wearing a grey dress that sweeps the palace whenever she moves, her hair had been washed and it was an enticing, and shiny black that reached her back. It was a generous length, her skin was clean and it was peachy while her lips were patched but it was puckered into a nervous pout.
Her eyes could steal a man's soul while not knowing so, they were a deep brown with no idea of what was happening and though she was ageing, she was still very much beautiful. Almost as beautiful as the women from the rose clan. It was almost impossible not to believe she belonged to them.
Her head was down to her fingers while Mace examined her. Czar walks closer to her to lift her chin up, his stare was enough to make her start shaking again but Loki was waiting for him to do the wrong thing so he would snap his fingers off.
"She is beautiful." He admits with a small smirk,
"That's the only thing you see when you look at a woman." He bashes him but Czar is a shameless as a dog, he didn't mind having a night with her, "I want custody of her," he speaks up immediately,
"But I want her." Czar opposed him, she was too beautiful to miss out on, his fingers grab her hands and they're so soft, "master I want to be in charge of her."
"And where were you when she was still unconscious? Back off or I would tear you to shreds!" He barks, the green in his eyes glowing dangerously,
"If you want to fight then that's not a problem, the winner gets to keep her." He is pulling her to him until she scratches him just to get him to stop touching her, "arrogant woman!!" He takes his hand back and rubs the irritated skin as she hugs Loki tighter,
"I don't..... like it here...." She is barely audible but he can hear her clearly,
"What did she say?" Mace is more than interested in her now,
"She said Czar is scaring her and he is being an ass now." Loki adds his bit of words to her statement and this makes Mace laugh,
"It seems she is closer to you, she would stay with you, but if she causes trouble then you're also responsible for it." Mace hands her over to him and Czar is envious, he wondered all the things Loki would do with her that he wished to.
"Thank you so much master, she would be in my room and if anyone does anything then permission to murder them?" He is eyeing Czar,
"Permission granted." It had been a while since he saw the two of them fight over a woman, he wouldn't mind sitting down the whole day to see who would win since he knew they were both capable.
"Rune.....Rune...." She tugs at his arm,
"I don't know what that is Orla." They talk in hushed tones and his answer brings tears to her eyes,
"Rune.....I want Rune....." She kept disturbing him for what he had no idea of.
"What is she saying now?" Czar scoffs, obviously still jealous of his fellow Beta,
"She says she wants Rune, I have no idea what or who that is. It seems I would have to find a way to dispell the curse so she could be back to her senses, but it was no ordinary witch this time around." He smoothens her black hair that he was addicted to, "because of the curse she doesn't have any scent, she can't be traced if she goes missing and her abilities are limited."
"And what would it take for you to break the curse??" Mace lifts his stiff body from his throne and walks to her, she shakes a little but Loki's touch was always able to calm her down, "what's your name darling?" He takes some of her hair in his fingers and lets them run through it,
"Or.... Orla....what's....your name?" She was beginning to converse and it made her caretaker very happy,
"Mace, call me Mace." He places a kiss on her forehead and Loki knew it was time to hide her back before these men pounced on her, "what are you looking for? Rune?" He takes her lips, they were so soft to touch, he wanted to kiss her.
But his affectionate display had began to scare her,
"Master I think that is enough." He pulls her closer to him,
"Make sure she isn't near me or you don't know what I might do to her, she is very tempting and she doesn't even know it." He smirks like the devil himself, "she is your responsibility now, take care of her or we would get rid of her. Czar, follow me, we have things to discuss." He leaves them both and Czar follows him like a lost pup.
She turns to him, her big brown orbs making a hole in his soul,
"Rune." He still couldn't understand her.
