CHAPTER 48
"And you didn't even tell me huh!" Sara watched as Ariel kept on shouting at the top of her voice not even minding that it was late in the midnight already.
"Will you just calm down, Ariel." She said, "My best friend just lost her virgi....." Ariel didn't even finish the statement as Sara clamped a hand on her mouth effectively shutting her up.
"What is wrong with you? Can't you see we're not the only ones in the room? Why do you love shouting so much Ariel?" Sara asked.
"Now, I love shouting, when you didn't even tell me that you slept with Christian, you are no longer a virgin. We promised to break our virginity together right? What happened to that?"
"Look, don't take it to heart okay. It was just my birthday gift to him."
"Did you guys use protection, Sara you're just 16." Ariel asked worriedly.
"We didn't......." Sara was still talking when Ariel cut in yet again,"What you guys didn't use protection. Do you want to get pregnant at this young age. Your private, you know, it's not even ready to birth any child, Sara what's wrong with you?" Ariel asked again.
"You didn't even allow me finish what I was going to say." She said and Ariel just rolled her eyes.
"What do you want to say huh? Tell me? You guys didn't use protection and it's your first time, I'm sure he didn't even pull out."
"Oh for God's sake, Ariel just shut the fuck up and allow me talk."
"Okay, okay, I'm listening."
"We didn't use protection, but the next morning I took some pills, besides, I've seen my period for this month, so no worries."
"So no worries, like seriously Sara, okay let's thank God that you took some pills. You have to be careful next time, you're just 16 and bringing a child onto this world without any plan or money is certainly not in your plans right?"
"Yes mother, I know all this, and please stop shoving the fact that I'm 16 right at my face. I'm going to be 17 next month, incase you've forgotten, so please stop talking to me as if I'm a child."
"It's not that, Sara I'm just worried about you guys. You don't even know your future with Christian and you guys are already having unprotected sex. He's leaving for Seattle in some months time, and you don't even know if you want to follow him or not. All I'm saying is that you guys are to young, no you are young. Christian is 20, you're 16, at least he's matured enough, but you, you......." Ariel was still saying but Sara interrupted.
"Okay, okay, enough of all this sermons. I'm tired right now and I need to sleep, so do you. We have classes to attend to tomorrow, and we have busy days ahead of us,my problems should not be your concern okay." She said bluntly and Ariel hissed, as if she had been hurt.
"Auchhh.... I'm sorry for interfering in your business. Next time, I'll mind mine." Ariel said, climbing down the bunk, and going to her own side of the bed.
"No, Ariel, come here, I didn't mean it like that." Sara said but Ariel just waved her good night and covered herself in her blanket.
"Well, goodnight." Sara whispered to no one but herself, still thinking randomly about Christian and her future, she didn't even know when she slept off.

Christian looked at the paper in his hand.
It had the number of the head matron at Sara's orphanage written on it.
With the help of one of his favorite matron who had taken a liking to him, he had been able to get the number, and now the only thing he was waiting for was just to dial her number and book an appointment with her.
He was nervous, he was not going to lie to himself, but at the same time, the thought of Sara by his side in Seattle, coming back from work everyday and seeing her beautiful face, laying with her on his bed in the apartment he was going to rent for the both of them gave him courage.
Yeah, he was going to rent a separate house for just the both of them, and another for his mom and siblings.
He wanted them to have enough privacy, and also he wanted her all to himself, he didn't want to share her with anybody not even his mom, yes that was how much he wanted her.
His pay at the job in Seattle was a really nice one, and it came with lots of benefits, even a scholarship scheme for him if he ever wanted to further his education in the University.
Indeed he was so lucky, he never ever believed that he could get do much favor and even get the job when he had applied for it, but here he was with a job, with a woman who he was going to love till eternity, a loving and caring mother and siblings.
Indeed he was blessed, maybe this new age, the new year was the start of good and better things to come.
Picking up his phone, he saw the time was almost 2 am in the morning.
When he had checked last, it had been 11:30 pm, he had been thinking for almost 2 hours, he needed to sleep, but at the same time sleep didn't come.
Fuck! He had dreams, plans, he wanted to be so rich, he wanted to spoil the people that mattered the most in his life.
He wanted to spoil Sara, his mom, his siblings, he wanted them all to be so happy.
Sara had not tasted happiness before, she had told him during one of their discussions that she was only happy whenever she was with him or Ariel.
She was the shy, secluded type, but whenever she was with him, she showed her true demons, acting naughty and indulging all his sexual fantasies, he was getting hard already just thinking of her innocent body.
It was not innocent again though, at least to him, he had had a taste of her and damn if he didn't want more, that's why he had wanted her to come over for the weekend, but well, she just couldn't due to reasons that sounded ridiculous and stupid to him.
When he successfully finished the processes of her leave from the orphanage, and finalized his leave to Seattle with her, they would not be separated again.
He would love her unconditionally, he wouldn't stop loving her, he would show her physically and in any other way.
This feeling, this feeling he had for Sara was more than love.
He was obsessed, infatuated, and he didn't even know what else to call this feeling, but ever since he had seen her that day, on his way to work he had been hooked for eternity.
Finally, sleep was coming, he could feel it.
Laying down properly on his bed, he arranged his pillow by his side, imagining it was Sara, and hugging it tightly he inhaled deeply, closing his eyes and sleep took him away.
