CHAPTER 38
DINAH
Dinah chewed furiously at her pen, she had gotten reports that Christian had supposedly come to the shelter to see Sara.
She had become more furious when Tessa and Miranda her girls had confirmed the news, now she thought of ways to break their relationship up and have Christian all to herself.
She couldn't believe that the guy she dreamt of every night, the one she pleasured herself too every cold night was having the attention of another girl, not just any girl, but one she detested so much.
"Dinah, you just have to calm down." Miranda who was in the room with her, tried to soothe her raging temper, but she was not having any of it.
"Calm down, you want me to calm down, when the one I want is with another, I should calm down when all my efforts are being thrown in the mud, I initiated this fight, so she wouldn't see him, and then he might think otherwise and then they will break up, but can't you see it's all in vain, now you want me to calm down, you must be out of your senses." She replied standing up and going to the window looking outside.
"So what do you intend doing now?" Miranda asked her, "I don't even know anymore, I'm just frustrated." Dinah said rubbing her forehead frantically.
"I think I have a suggestion." Miranda said, and instantly Dinah perked up, out of the two of her friends, she like Miranda more, she was always with her and she was a good idea bringer.
"Oh my Mira, yeah what do you suggest? Tell me everything, I'm listening to you."
"Well, Mikey can definitely help us." Miranda said raising her eyebrows suggestively, and Dinah just stared at her dumbly as she asked, "How can he help us? Someone whom I don't even want to talk about now."
Mikey was her drug dealer boyfriend or ex-boyfriend rather, since she saw Christian that fateful day, she had only gone to see him once, a visit that had resulted to them fighting, and since then she had refused to pick his calls. Dragging him into this now was just like adding more fuel to fire.
"Well, he's your only hope, or our only hope rather, cause the idea I have can't be accomplished without him."
"Miranda, quit all this bullshit and talk to me, stop speaking in circles please, tell me what I need to hear." Dinah said frustratingly, coming to sit down on the bed once more.
"You just have to blackmail Sara, come closer let me whisper in your ears." Miranda said looking round the room and motioning with her hands at Dinah to come closer.
"Oh my gosh, this is superb, fantastic, I didn't even think of this at all, oh Miranda I love you so so much." Dinah said exclaiming loudly, her mood had just been uplifted a little bit, the suggestion Miranda just made was just so perfect.
"Oh, don't mention, if I don't do anything for you, who will?" Miranda asked, smiling widely, her chubby cheeks showing off her cute dimples that deepened whenever she laughed.
"But there's another problem." Dinah said and Miranda looked at her in confusion, "What problem is there again." She asked.
"Well, it's been almost a month since I talked to Mikey last, and I don't know if he still wants to see me you know, how do I make it up to him, so he'll agree to do this for me, for us?" Dinah asked sounding confused.
"Are you not my Dinah again, what has happened to that strong, fierce and sexy friend of mine? This is not a problem, you'll just have to endure and seduce him, do your thang and he'll be hanging onto your every word." Miranda replied and she nodded in agreement.
"Okay, I'll try and see what I can do, I'll surely sneak out this weekend and go see him, what do you think?" She asked and Miranda crossed her fingers in affirmation.
Sighing in satisfaction, Dinah laid on her bed, hands akimbo and thoughts drifting off to Christian.

Christian opened the letter he had gotten from the new job he had gotten some few days ago, he had already signed the contract and he was to begin work in two weeks time at the branch office here in the city.
Reading the contents of the letter, he opened his mouth in shock, when he reached the third paragraph, he saw something there that made him gasp, and his first thought was how he was going to break this news to Sara.
What was he going to say to her now? She already knew of this new job, when they had spoken some days earlier, she had explained everything going on with her to him and he had done same.
This letter just came as a shock to him, he was not expecting any thing of such. This was going to create big problems in their relationship, he couldn't even fathom the thought of leaving her alone.
God! He sighed loudly tapping his foot loudly, making people stop and stare at him, but he didn't care, all his thoughts were on how to break this shocking news to Sara tomorrow or any day they were opportuned to talk.
This new job he had gotten as a personal assistant and assistant financial manager for a very big company, was better than the two jobs he currently worked at.
The pay, the allowances, they even had a good insurance policy for God's sake, for a school dropout like him without any educational qualifications, this job was an opportunity he couldn't miss, a dream come true.
Sitting on a nearby bench, Christian laid his two palms on his forehead, and went deep in thought.

Sara looked at her phone which lit up with an incoming message.
"CALL ME. xoxo Christian." Smiling she typed a quick message telling him she was going to call him in the night, as she was currently busy at the moment.
The head matron had earlier instructed them to go pick up their cell phones as it was almost 2 weeks into the suspension.
Smiling to herself, she looked up to see Ariel looking and winking at her, and she burst out laughing loudly, making all eyes in the shelter's busy and rowdy hall turn towards them.
Embarrassed and cheeks already blushing flame red, she bent her head as chatter broke out amongst the girls, and the moment was lost.
