"Looks like you are not interested in me. Your quietness made me regret coming over to express my feelings. Let's pretend that I didn't come here nor say anything to you" Alice declared and turned around to go.
Lucas just held her wrist and turned her to face him. He raised her chin and glared into her eyes, looking intently into them as if he was searching for love in it.
Alice subconsciously placed her hands around his waist and drew closer to him. Lucas bent over and captured her lips in a sweet kiss.
Alice held him tightly and opened up to the kiss. Lucas cupped her face and kissed her passionately. Alice drew close to him as if she would merge into him.
As the kiss deepened, Alice felt secured in his arms. He has agreed that they should be together then.
Suddenly, Lucas pulled away and sighed softly. He moved backwards a strand of hair that fell over her face and said "I can't do this please, Alice"
His tone was apologetic. He shook his head in disapproval and gently moved her hands away from his body. He took another step backwards and said "Come over for a drink"
Alice swallowed hard. Her eyes were teary. No, he cannot kiss her and then leave her. He cannot tell her no. She's known him for a few months already and can tell that he doesn't have a woman.
Why is he saying no? She told him that Pamela is aware. She loves him, isn't that enough to make him go along with her. She wants to experience more of his kissing.
"Why Lucas? Tell me why you think we can't be together?" Alice asked, her tears running down her cheeks. She cleaned them and stared at him.
Lucas looked away helplessly. He doesn't want to see her tears. She's too good to him and Pamela to let her suffer any form of torture.
"Let's drink together and you can go back please" Lucas declared. He wants to go but Alice held him from the back, circled her hands around him and placed her head on his back.
"I love you Lucas. Don't do this to me. Please just try and love me 1% and I will love you for 99%. Just accept me and I promise to love you alone, forever…" Alice pleaded.
"Don't talk this way, please Alice. You are a sweet woman to be with and any man would be happy to have you. But you are in love with the wrong person.
I can't love you like you deserve. I can't guarantee that happiness for you. I don't want to waste your time and life with me. I don't want to use and dump you. Try and understand me" Lucas said and pulled away from her.
He walked past her and went to the wine cellar. He feels sorry for himself. He can't help it. He can't ruin her entire life because of his predicament.
When he returned with the wine, he was dazed to see Alice placed her phone on her ears "Pamela…I tried, I tried but Lucas rejected me.
He doesn't love me. I was wrong to have fallen for him. I feel so bad and horrible. I blame myself for coming over to see him.." Alice said, sobbing.
She turned it on speaker, so Lucas could hear Pamela's voice "He doesn't want to hurt you. I know Lucas, he's one great guy. He might have a past I don't want to remember, but he is one decent, reasonable guy.
Anyways, did he tell you why he can't be with you? Did he say anything?" Pamela asked, feeling as if Lucas was rejecting Alice because of her.
Alice wanted to say she doesn't know, that Lucas didn't tell her why but the latter snatched the phone from her and said "I'll fix it Pamela. Good night" and hung up.
He threw the phone on the sofa and glared at Alice "Why do you make it seem as if it's a set up? Why call Pamela to update her?" He demanded.
"Because you rejected me. You said you can't love me and that I'm wasting my time loving you. I'm desperately in love with you and I don't know just how to help myself" Alice snapped at him.
"Do you want me to make you my sex toy? Do you just want me to fuck you whenever I want and however I want? I can't do that to you, and you don't want to understand?
I told you I am sterile. I can't make babies. I can't think of getting committed to any woman in marriage. I can only have fun with them and then walk away.
Is that what you want, Alice? You want to be my sex partner, is that what you want? Just leave now" Lucas ordered.
"Do whatever you want with me. I am willing to be anything you want. Your sex toy, sex mate, bed partner and whatever just to be your woman.
I don't care if you are sterile or not. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. We would adopt babies, we would be happy. But please, don't reject me, don't push me away" Alice pleaded
Lucas glared at her. She meant it, she really wants to be with him despite everything he's told her?
"Are you willing to be with me despite knowing that I can't make you a mother?" Lucas asked, surprised how much she loves him.
"Yes. I want to be with you, even if you can't make love to me. I am willing to be with you and be your woman" Alice confessed.
Lucas' eyes welled up with tears as he pulled her closer and kissed her sweetly. This is real this time. He possessed her lips, taking over her lips, tongue and everything.
Alice crossed her hands around his neck and he placed one of his hands on her hips and the other at the back of her head, kissing her passionately.
Alice moaned. Lucas held her tight, her body snuggled intently against his. Alice felt his hardness poking her and she said "Let's make love tonight"
"Alright, let's go" Lucas lifted her off her feet and carried her 'princessly'. They both chuckled.
